We love the Oregon Grill! Always such a special place to come. We had cocktails in the bar and the scene was lively! We enjoyed about a 2 hour dinner at a cozy booth. Great live piano. My dad had the Pepper Steak cooked to perfection and my husband had the surf and turf. I had the pork chop. The surf and turf was by far the best! But everything else was fabulous.

Food was disappointing and service far too slow. For the price, not what I was expecting. Plus, for a nearly empty restaurant, can’t believe food and service weren’t top notch. Server apologized and offered comp desserts. Not her fault.

The French onion soup was very disappointing. The broth had absolutely no taste/flavor at all. For the cost of the soup, one would except an exceptional tasting soup.

This was the first time I've had dinner at the Oregon Grille. I had lunch there a few years ago, but never dinner. Our reserved table was ready when we arrived. The service was great. The filet was cooked exactly as ordered and the portions were substantial. For me, this is a special occasion restaurant because of the price point. Once a year or so, it's worth the splurge.

Wonderful experience. We were greeted and seated promptly. The piano music was a wonderful bonus. The waiter was attentive but not overly annoying. The food was excellent. Although it is expensive it is worth the money.

We hadn’t been to The Oregon Grille for several years and it’s gone seriously downhill in the interim. Four of us met for lunch. The white bean soup was bland. The grilled oysters were so small they should have been embarrassed to serve them. The open reubens and flatbread caprese were decent but nothing special.
For the prices. It was a total ripoff.

We went for a birthday celebration.
Everyone ordered from the 20th Anniversary Menu and we were NOT disappointed!
Our waiter was superb! He made great wine recommendations and is certainly the “Jack Luskin” of waiters. He was friendly, down to earth and attentive. The imperial crab is the BEST I have ever had and I am a 67 year old Baltimore girl. I have had my share over the years of imperial crab. The sauce was light and the crab lumps were large and sweet.
I can’t wait to return! In fact, a friend and I will be there for lunch this Thursday.

Our waiter was one of those people that have made this job an art. He took it very seriously, with his charm, class and witty banter, and quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. You just wanted to hug him at the end. He felt like an old friend.

We have been to The Oregon Grille several times now. Not a bad thing to say about any visit. The food is great! The seafood tower is fantastic if you'd like a taste of 4 or 5 kinds of seafood without having to choose just one entree. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. The bartender was able to custom make a cocktail for me that wasn't on the drink menu.
I've told anyone who asks for a great all around restaurant to give The Oregon Grille a try.

The last time we had a magnificent meal here was at least 10 years ago. I’m not sure what has happened but the food is not top notch anymore. We still love this place for the atmosphere and service but the food lacks flavor big time and is never cooked correctly. We like to come here for special occasions thinking this time it will be better but it just hasn’t improved. Prime rib was not tender and I order a med- rare, the oysters Rockefeller literally just had parmeasean cheese melted on top sitting on a smear of mashed potatoes? Then the waiter had to come back 3 times for our dessert order because they were out of the first 3 things we picked. Our reservation was for 6pm not sure how they ran out that quickly. Anyway, just disappointed. Should have gone to Bluestone or Barrett’s Grill.

Had a seat by the fireplace in a quiet alcove with a view to the late autumn afternoon. A perfect Thanksgiving family moment, great food, served by a professional who recommended a wonderful wine at the price I wanted to pay. Couldn't have asked for better.

My wife and I revisited OG after two terrible meals served in the outside area in the summer.

We received several gift cards as wedding presents to OG which we were excited about.

We spoke to a manager to share our issues and asked if we could cash in our remaining gift cards. He said no and he invited us back but unfortunately he was no longer employed when we came back.

The service at OG is always great! Each of the four of us enjoyed our meals very much thus time and we had no issues.

I was a little surprised that management didn’t buy us a round of drinks or dessert as a token. They did reduce one drink to $1.65 though.

A very good meal but at a cost. Not sure when we will return.

I met a few friends for lunch on a Friday afternoon having heard positive things about the Oregon Grille's lunch menu. However, I was very disappointed with lunch. I decided to order a salad since I wanted something on the lighter side. The salad consisted of some shaved, raw hearts of palm, four small endive leaves, 1 or 2 very thin slices of apple, and three shrimp. It was very disappointing and certainly not worth the money paid. I think with tip, coffee and iced tea it costs me $32! It is not hard to make a good salad, I do all of the time at home so I was looking forward to trying a different salad. Very disappointing and not sure if I'll return for lunch.

The soup was warm not hot but flavor wise was great, the main dishes were amazing and HUGE portions (ate leftovers for 3 days), the dessert I got was vanilla creme brulee and it was bad. It was cold on bottom, cold warmish in the middle, and slight warm at top. Not the best dessert. However, their cocoa fire (or something like that) was to die for if you like hot chocolate with alcohol. I would recommend at least once but it's not a place to come back over and over.

We enjoyed our 24th anniversary dinner here for the first time. Everything was wonderful from the time we walked in and was greeted. Our waiter was outstanding giving recommendations while staying in tuned to our needs. The food was delicious both the rockfish and my filet mignon was one of the best thus far. We ended the night with dessert, pumpkin spice cheesecake absolutely delightful, my mouth is still watering for more!
This restaurant is a gem tucked away in Hunt Valley and we will most certainly be returning.

We were very disappointed with our dining experience last night at Oregon Grille. We were celebrating a special occasion for my son and his fiance and feel that I need to have a "do over' to make it up to them at a different restaurant! We were first seated in a freezing cold, drafty room on the porch. We had to request another table but host was very gracious and accomodating. Beer was warm. Champagne was flat. And it was French champagne, not a prosecco or cava. The beef was significantly underdone. The medium cowboy steak arrived rare. Although it was blackened, there was no flavor to the meat and lacked seasoning. The cassoulet wasn't warm. We had to send it back. The raw oysters weren't detached from shell, grilled romaine didn't have grill marks or taste grilled. Our appetizer, raw oysters, came out and were served the same time as our salad. Our waiter served 2 vegetables to our table, then went back to kitchen to get our mains. The butter was hard as a rock served with the rolls. The salmon was the only saving grace.
We then had a nightcap in the bar. There were 2 bartenders, no one else in the bar. My husband ordered 3 cold Stella Artois beers, emphasizing the adjective cold, and we watched the bartender pour 3 bottles of beer that someone had just brought out to restock and were sitting on the counter.
I have worked as a waitress and bartender in the past, my son is a chef. I have great appreciation and respect for the food and restaurant industry. It's very difficult to say the least. My husband and I enjoy good food and don't mind paying top dollar for a good meal. We didn't receive that last night. In summary, I was honestly very surprised, extremely disappointed and a bit embarrassed that we took my son and fiance to celebrate something so special and leaving so deflated.

Steak was phenomenal. Crab cakes very sad - small, hardly any lumps and fried dry. Who fries CC’s anymore??? Service was good. Recommend? Sure, If you don’t mind paying $60 for a steak.

We have been to the Oregon Grille approx. 15 times and have always been supremely satisfied. Not this time. Service was sloppy. My steak was overcooked. Rack of lamb was not presented well being all cooked together as one piece and not sliced apart prior to bringing to the table. Rolls were cold. No serving utensil was served with our mas potatoes. It's a good thing the food was very good. Think we will wait awhile before going back.

This was our first time to The Oregon Grille. We have heard excellent things but decided to try this out for my wife's birthday, while also dining with friends. Waiter was full of recommendations, very courteous, and very attentive. Food was excellent, can't say one bad thing about the food's taste. Ambiance in the restaurant was excellent with live piano music. The only thing was that the cost was a little steep, but we thoroughly loved the food and all left pleasantly full, including brining home leftovers.

The service was average and the food was fair. For the price we paid the food was just ok. My entire party ordered the surf and turf and each of us had to send either our steak or lobster back. The lobster was not cooked properly. Initially it was over cooked and cold. The dipping butter was cold as well. When they brought the lobster tails back out they were under cooked and not seasoned. The manager comped desserts for all of us, but honestly they should have comped the poorly cooked lobster. We were highly disappointed with everything and will not be returning.

I recently took a good friend out for her birthday and was disappointed with the quality of the food that I was served. Great setting, wonderful and attentive waiter, however my cream of crab soup was lukewarm and served with a substandard dollop of crabmeat on top. My salad was poorly assembled making it difficult to eat the precariously stacked romaine lettuce, all of which was fairly tasteless with the exception of the grilled shrimp that unfortunately were slightly overcooked.

Wonderful brunch, mixed review. The setting at the Oregon Grill is always wonderful, classy and quiet. The piano player added to the ambiance for brunch. We ordered bacon infused Bloody Mary's. If there was bacon in them, we both totally missed it. The first round also didn't seem to have much in the way of vodka. The second round was better but it seemed to be multiple bartenders each using his/her own recipe. My friend's second Bloody was different from my second one. Mine included a fluffy celery creation that the server said the bartender has just seen on Pinterest. At $14 a pop, there was little Bloody Mary in the glass and marginal vodka. Not good.
Haven't been at Oregon Grill for a long time. I thought the food had gone downhill and the pricing remained high. The Kurtz salad is one of my friend's favorites. It is very different from what it used to be, including a large slice of smoked chicken just plopped on the top. It was different but still very good although we missed the old blue cheese dressing.
The oysters on the half shell were excellent. Interestingly the cocktail sauce was totally firmed and jelled. I could pick it up with the oyster fork in one firm piece. Very odd, never had that experience at all.
The crab and asparagus omelets were great. Lots of crab and asparagus. The hash browns were done just as we ordered although they had little seasoning.
We shared a blueberry pie with ice cream for dessert. That was pretty standard.

Sadly, I have to report that this beautiful restaurant that we have loved for many years serves disappointing food. Specifically, the broiled oysters were small, flattish and one was only a spec of an oyster. My wife and I both ordered the rockfish and it was a far cry from this wonderful dish that has been a mainstay on the menu for years.
The restaurant was 75% empty on a Friday night and I suspect that they are losing their customers because of the poor quality of the food.

We dined at The Oregon Grille to celebrate our engagement. With only a week until the big day, we wanted to take a moment to just relax and unwind over good food and great wine.
Everyone who greeted, served, or stopped at our table commented on our special occasion and congratulated us. It was incredibly thoughtful and it definitely did not go unnoticed.
Our server, Jami, was phenomenal. She made wonderful conversation, was engaging and attentive. In fact, every one of the staff we came in contact with was impressive. It was a wonderful evening and we hope to visit again soon.
