The food was very good and with restaurant week the value was very good compared to their regular menu, which is pricey. I love the atmosphere and it is a great place for a special occasion.

The 120z Filet Mignon was fantastic. It is a bit pricy, but every bite was worth it.

Great atmosphere on a cold winter night.

The Oregon Grille was always a favorite of mine, but this time I left disappointed. My husband ordered from the restaurant week menu and despite the fact it included three courses the portions were very skimpy. He left the restaurant hungry! I ordered from the regular menu, surf and turf which was a $58.00 entree. While the steak was good the lobster tail was terrible. Not only was it rubbery, it just did not taste good. The entree was a total disappointment! I will say the waiter was very good and the atmosphere did not disappoint, but overall I was disappointed. A $58 entree should never be a let down.

Outstanding, as always. The lobster (surf and turf) was a little chewy, but not sure that's the fault of the restaurant. The filet was incredible.

Our table was on the porch; not a fan of that. Our first time with such a table, so now we know what to ask not to have. Waiter was good.

Went here specifically because of restaurant week. After being promptly seated, waited at least 15 minutes for server to appear at table. Did not offer the restaurant week menu, which we then requested. After another 15 minutes, server appeared again, without the restaurant week menu. Asked for the special restaurant week menu a second time. Meal arrived over an hour after being seated. A little frustrating, as the restaurant was not full. Meal was delicious though.

Overall our dining experience was wonderful! We sat in the main dining room with the piano player which was entertaining and the Oregon Grille had a nice vibrant ambiance perfect for a birthday celebration. Meals were delicious! Maitre de and staff overall were all very pleasant adding to our enjoyment. We had a few bumps which I would not have expected, no fresh pepper offered with our salads, large soup spoons accompanied our coffee & our desserts and no offer of coffee refill even though other guests at our table were still awaiting their coffee drink. Our server was fine yet perhaps a bit new or just super busy.

We have been going to The Oregon Grille for years and have found it to be uneven. This was a birthday dinner for four. There was a problem with the soda machine and our server did her best--even going so far as to switch out the syrup container but it still wasn't right. I ordered Prime Rib RARE -- it came out more like Medium Well. A mistake that never should be made with good beef. And it was cold -- along with the onions. Very disappointing.

We took a group of friends who were visiting us for the weekend. We found the food to be very disappointing. Most of us had some type of fish and found it to have very little flavor and were disappointed with the accompanying appetizers, as well as the lack of options. I don't mind paying high prices for a quality meal but in this case felt we had thrown away money on a meal that didn't warrant the cost. We have received positive feedback from other friends who have been to the Oregon Grille in the past so we're not sure if this was just an "off night" or the have a different chef. Either way it was a disappointing experience, particularly since we were hosting friends for the weekend. I don't think we'd be inclined to return again.

Frankly, a bit disappointing this time. French onion soup (that I recommended to some of our foreign guests) was kind of cold. Fried onions with my fillet mignon rather unappetizing and -guess what- also kind of cold (fillet was great, though).

Next time I'm not sure b/c I really don't like to take chances.

It’s a total shame that the Oregon Grille has regressed to this. Having lived in the area for 30+ years the Oregon Grill was a special occasion visit sure to please. That is no longer the case. Two visits ago I was disappointed but refused to accept it because I loved this place for so long. But after last night it is clear this place is trending in bad direction. The server was over sat, often we sat with empty drinks and water, the food came out and sat on a tray for 10+ minutes before coming to the table and when it did, freezing cold. We spent $250 for 2 people and honestly I have had better food and service at Chili’s, seriously. This is my last visit and you should avoid at all costs until they get things right again. It’s too expensive to have so many slip ups.

Took family out during Christmas week. The Oregan is my favorite restaurant in this part of Maryland and my family raves about it as well. Perfect steaks and love the dining and bar ambiance.

I love this place but you better be prepared, a meal for two cost us $238.00 with a bottle of wine (nothing under $35.00 a bottle), two appetizers, two entrees, two sides (no sides come with your entee btw) and two after dinner coffee drinks. The food and service are wonderful but I've had just as good if not better for a lot less.

We were there for lunch with friends on Christmas eve. The service was outstanding and the food was very good. The live piano playing quietly in the background was a nice touch and added to the ambience. Lunch is always a good choice if dinner at the Oregon Grille is beyond your budget.

We've been to this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed – until now. The soup that two of our party ordered had to be sent back because it was cold. The breakfast potatoes – we were there for a holiday brunch – were dry and tasteless. This may just have been a "bad day," but the restaurant wasn't that crowded. Will we go back? Probably.

Oregon Grille is typically a great lunch spot but our Christmas Eve brunch was a huge disappointment. The food was significantly delayed and when it finally arrived it was barely tepid. The chicken madrilena was swimming in oil and somehow they managed to make my two teenage boys disappointed in a cheeseburger. We were seated in the Patriot room with the fireplace ablaze—the only highlight. The restaurant was not packed so that could not be the reason for the slow kitchen. Perhaps it was the holiday kitchen crew? Whatever the reason, an unfortunate experience on a day we intended to celebrate the holiday in remembrance of our first Christmas without our grandmother Alice.

I celebrate 2 special occasions here in December one for lunch and the other for dinner. The dinner this year was a real disappointment. The table was lousy and you were not that busy for the Saturday before Christmas. I should have asked for another table. The martinis and appetizers were excellent. Entries were just OK - crab cakes and a $60 steak left a lot to be desired. Also felt rushed. With an 7:45 pm reservation we were out before 10. Did not order a bottle of wine since the entries came to soon. Not a great experience for 2 people at tab of over 250.

I think the restaurant was short staffed. The entire business lunch took 1 hour and 40 minutes and we did not even entertain dessert nor coffee because it was so long. There were a few larger parties that disrupted the timely flow of our service. Management MUST find a way to alleviate that problem. When serving a table of 10, each rotation takes a great deal longer than normal, so the number of additional tables covered by the staff serving that table must be minimal. I love this restaurant, but left with a bad taste in my mouth due to the waiting.....

I get it was the week before Christmas and very busy. I also get we all knew it was the week before Christmas and so I expect a restaurant of this caliber to be prepared.

Our server was all over us when we arrived and then just disappeared. Two of us order the filet migon sandwich - one medium and one medium well without horseradish. They were delivered as medium rare and medium at best, and then served to the wrong people. I ordered the medium well and when re-cooked it was at best medium. Tell me that's the wrong way to cook a filet, but it was the way I asked for it to be prepared.

When the was asked if sandwiches came with a side, we were told no and ordered sides, only to discover they came with chips. (That feels like a side to me.)

The food was fine. The service was sub-par for a place of this caliber.

I love the place. I've had office Christmas parties there back in the late 90s. I've has special lunches, dinners and business meetings there. I live 4 miles away and watched it being built. So the OG and I go back a ways. But I have to say the last visit was just OK, not great.

Drinks were OK, just OK. Appetizer (1), tuna tartar was pretty small portion, and it was, you got it, OK. Rockfish (2) was very good, nicely prepared, crispy skin and yummy, but the accompanying morsels (?) tasted more like home fries at a breakfast place. Dessert (1) a creme brulee was excellent, saving grace of the entire meal.

Service was exceptional, as it always is at the OG. That's why I added a $40 tip to a $179 bill. Gotta say, a tad pricey for an OK meal with a good dessert.

The atmosphere is great and the food is good. But it took an hour and a half from when we ordered to when we got our food. The waitress apologized at the hour mark because she knew it was a problem that they hadn't even started on our chicken and steak, but then it was still another 30 min to get the order to us. We won't be going back

We love the Oregon Grill! Always such a special place to come. We had cocktails in the bar and the scene was lively! We enjoyed about a 2 hour dinner at a cozy booth. Great live piano. My dad had the Pepper Steak cooked to perfection and my husband had the surf and turf. I had the pork chop. The surf and turf was by far the best! But everything else was fabulous.

This was the first time I've had dinner at the Oregon Grille. I had lunch there a few years ago, but never dinner. Our reserved table was ready when we arrived. The service was great. The filet was cooked exactly as ordered and the portions were substantial. For me, this is a special occasion restaurant because of the price point. Once a year or so, it's worth the splurge.

We hadn’t been to The Oregon Grille for several years and it’s gone seriously downhill in the interim. Four of us met for lunch. The white bean soup was bland. The grilled oysters were so small they should have been embarrassed to serve them. The open reubens and flatbread caprese were decent but nothing special.
For the prices. It was a total ripoff.

We went for a birthday celebration.
Everyone ordered from the 20th Anniversary Menu and we were NOT disappointed!
Our waiter was superb! He made great wine recommendations and is certainly the “Jack Luskin” of waiters. He was friendly, down to earth and attentive. The imperial crab is the BEST I have ever had and I am a 67 year old Baltimore girl. I have had my share over the years of imperial crab. The sauce was light and the crab lumps were large and sweet.
I can’t wait to return! In fact, a friend and I will be there for lunch this Thursday.

Our waiter was one of those people that have made this job an art. He took it very seriously, with his charm, class and witty banter, and quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. You just wanted to hug him at the end. He felt like an old friend.
