My wife and I revisited OG after two terrible meals served in the outside area in the summer.

We received several gift cards as wedding presents to OG which we were excited about.

We spoke to a manager to share our issues and asked if we could cash in our remaining gift cards. He said no and he invited us back but unfortunately he was no longer employed when we came back.

The service at OG is always great! Each of the four of us enjoyed our meals very much thus time and we had no issues.

I was a little surprised that management didn’t buy us a round of drinks or dessert as a token. They did reduce one drink to $1.65 though.

A very good meal but at a cost. Not sure when we will return.

Wonderful first visit. Made reservations online, noted it was our first visit, celebrating our 23rd anniversary. Was welcomed by staff wishing us a happy anniversary and treated us like newlyweds. We’ll be back and bringing friends.

I met a few friends for lunch on a Friday afternoon having heard positive things about the Oregon Grille's lunch menu. However, I was very disappointed with lunch. I decided to order a salad since I wanted something on the lighter side. The salad consisted of some shaved, raw hearts of palm, four small endive leaves, 1 or 2 very thin slices of apple, and three shrimp. It was very disappointing and certainly not worth the money paid. I think with tip, coffee and iced tea it costs me $32! It is not hard to make a good salad, I do all of the time at home so I was looking forward to trying a different salad. Very disappointing and not sure if I'll return for lunch.

The soup was warm not hot but flavor wise was great, the main dishes were amazing and HUGE portions (ate leftovers for 3 days), the dessert I got was vanilla creme brulee and it was bad. It was cold on bottom, cold warmish in the middle, and slight warm at top. Not the best dessert. However, their cocoa fire (or something like that) was to die for if you like hot chocolate with alcohol. I would recommend at least once but it's not a place to come back over and over.

We enjoyed our 24th anniversary dinner here for the first time. Everything was wonderful from the time we walked in and was greeted. Our waiter was outstanding giving recommendations while staying in tuned to our needs. The food was delicious both the rockfish and my filet mignon was one of the best thus far. We ended the night with dessert, pumpkin spice cheesecake absolutely delightful, my mouth is still watering for more!
This restaurant is a gem tucked away in Hunt Valley and we will most certainly be returning.

We were very disappointed with our dining experience last night at Oregon Grille. We were celebrating a special occasion for my son and his fiance and feel that I need to have a "do over' to make it up to them at a different restaurant! We were first seated in a freezing cold, drafty room on the porch. We had to request another table but host was very gracious and accomodating. Beer was warm. Champagne was flat. And it was French champagne, not a prosecco or cava. The beef was significantly underdone. The medium cowboy steak arrived rare. Although it was blackened, there was no flavor to the meat and lacked seasoning. The cassoulet wasn't warm. We had to send it back. The raw oysters weren't detached from shell, grilled romaine didn't have grill marks or taste grilled. Our appetizer, raw oysters, came out and were served the same time as our salad. Our waiter served 2 vegetables to our table, then went back to kitchen to get our mains. The butter was hard as a rock served with the rolls. The salmon was the only saving grace.
We then had a nightcap in the bar. There were 2 bartenders, no one else in the bar. My husband ordered 3 cold Stella Artois beers, emphasizing the adjective cold, and we watched the bartender pour 3 bottles of beer that someone had just brought out to restock and were sitting on the counter.
I have worked as a waitress and bartender in the past, my son is a chef. I have great appreciation and respect for the food and restaurant industry. It's very difficult to say the least. My husband and I enjoy good food and don't mind paying top dollar for a good meal. We didn't receive that last night. In summary, I was honestly very surprised, extremely disappointed and a bit embarrassed that we took my son and fiance to celebrate something so special and leaving so deflated.

Steak was phenomenal. Crab cakes very sad - small, hardly any lumps and fried dry. Who fries CC’s anymore??? Service was good. Recommend? Sure, If you don’t mind paying $60 for a steak.

This was our first time to The Oregon Grille. We have heard excellent things but decided to try this out for my wife's birthday, while also dining with friends. Waiter was full of recommendations, very courteous, and very attentive. Food was excellent, can't say one bad thing about the food's taste. Ambiance in the restaurant was excellent with live piano music. The only thing was that the cost was a little steep, but we thoroughly loved the food and all left pleasantly full, including brining home leftovers.

The service was average and the food was fair. For the price we paid the food was just ok. My entire party ordered the surf and turf and each of us had to send either our steak or lobster back. The lobster was not cooked properly. Initially it was over cooked and cold. The dipping butter was cold as well. When they brought the lobster tails back out they were under cooked and not seasoned. The manager comped desserts for all of us, but honestly they should have comped the poorly cooked lobster. We were highly disappointed with everything and will not be returning.

I recently took a good friend out for her birthday and was disappointed with the quality of the food that I was served. Great setting, wonderful and attentive waiter, however my cream of crab soup was lukewarm and served with a substandard dollop of crabmeat on top. My salad was poorly assembled making it difficult to eat the precariously stacked romaine lettuce, all of which was fairly tasteless with the exception of the grilled shrimp that unfortunately were slightly overcooked.

Wonderful brunch, mixed review. The setting at the Oregon Grill is always wonderful, classy and quiet. The piano player added to the ambiance for brunch. We ordered bacon infused Bloody Mary's. If there was bacon in them, we both totally missed it. The first round also didn't seem to have much in the way of vodka. The second round was better but it seemed to be multiple bartenders each using his/her own recipe. My friend's second Bloody was different from my second one. Mine included a fluffy celery creation that the server said the bartender has just seen on Pinterest. At $14 a pop, there was little Bloody Mary in the glass and marginal vodka. Not good.
Haven't been at Oregon Grill for a long time. I thought the food had gone downhill and the pricing remained high. The Kurtz salad is one of my friend's favorites. It is very different from what it used to be, including a large slice of smoked chicken just plopped on the top. It was different but still very good although we missed the old blue cheese dressing.
The oysters on the half shell were excellent. Interestingly the cocktail sauce was totally firmed and jelled. I could pick it up with the oyster fork in one firm piece. Very odd, never had that experience at all.
The crab and asparagus omelets were great. Lots of crab and asparagus. The hash browns were done just as we ordered although they had little seasoning.
We shared a blueberry pie with ice cream for dessert. That was pretty standard.

We came here for the second time and it keeps getting better and better.
Hernan, our server, was spot on and genuinly friendly and very attentive to our service. The food was delicious, with rich flavors and the ambiance with the piano is very romantic and set the tone.
Definitely going back

Sadly, I have to report that this beautiful restaurant that we have loved for many years serves disappointing food. Specifically, the broiled oysters were small, flattish and one was only a spec of an oyster. My wife and I both ordered the rockfish and it was a far cry from this wonderful dish that has been a mainstay on the menu for years.
The restaurant was 75% empty on a Friday night and I suspect that they are losing their customers because of the poor quality of the food.

We dined at The Oregon Grille to celebrate our engagement. With only a week until the big day, we wanted to take a moment to just relax and unwind over good food and great wine.
Everyone who greeted, served, or stopped at our table commented on our special occasion and congratulated us. It was incredibly thoughtful and it definitely did not go unnoticed.
Our server, Jami, was phenomenal. She made wonderful conversation, was engaging and attentive. In fact, every one of the staff we came in contact with was impressive. It was a wonderful evening and we hope to visit again soon.

We had to wait 10 minutes before we were greeted. We were given a noisy table where we constantly heard noise from kitchen. My steak was not cooked properly but the waiter did not come back to check so I could not eat it. I was told that we could have a round of drinks or complimentary desserts due to my steak, but then were charged. This was surely not a fine dining experience and was not at all worth the cost. I would never return and would never recommend. I would have gotten much much better food and service at Texas Roadhouse and at a reasonable price. My husband and I were so disappointed.

We just enjoyed a memorable anniversary at the Oregon Grill. Dave, the General Manager, made every effort to make our night romantic and memorable. The table was tucked in a private corner, and we received excellent and attentive (but not overly attentive) service from our lovely Server, Beth. Dinner was amazing, but a few stand outs: Hudson Valley Foie Gras & Grille Scallop, Baked Oysters with Lump Crab au Gratin, The Grille Salad (grilled romaine, Gorgonzola, cranberries, candied pecans, and a raspberry vinegrette), and the sirloin.

Our second visit here and we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, live piano player and relaxing cozy atmosphere. Known for steaks, this visit we decided on a veal chop for my husband and crab cakes for me. Veal was done perfectly medium rare as ordered. The crab cakes were large and cooked perfectly, but for a fine dining restaurant, in Maryland, I expect jumbo lump crab to be the predominant ingredient. The crab cakes were lump at best and I saw visible filling. There are way to many good crab cakes in the area to spend top dollar here for less. The down sides to a really otherwise nice restaurant- no entrees for small appetites and almost no chef specials. I wanted lobster and the smallest I could get was 3 lb! The smallest steak is 8 oz. If you love having a starter appetizer or salad and aren't a fan of carrying home a large portion to reheat, stick with appetizer and a salad or soup or eat in the bar with smaller plates! There was only one entrée special off the menu offered- no imaginative appetizer, soup or seasonal salad to taste the chef's creativity. Overall a very nice evening out.

My wife and I went here for a romantic dinner for two. We asked to be seated outside and the ambiance exceeded our expectations. The server was attentive and paced the meal very well. Our lobster bisque was very good but decidedly lukewarm. We thought that perhaps it was because we were a 5:15 seating on a Saturday night and the soup had not yet been warmed properly. Her rockfish was hot and delicious while my filet was also very tasty yet lukewarm again, not even warm enough to begin to melt the garlic butter. The pomme frites appeared very similar to McDonalds, appropriate for a burger at lunch maybe, but not advertised in French, served with $45+ filet. We have both been servers in a previous life so we are loathe to ever complain or send food back. With our $100 bottle of wine, we spent $300 on dinner for two. In all honesty, I feel our $300 dinner would have been much better money spent at The Prime Rib in Baltimore, our go to in this price range. We will be back at some point, but we won't be running and we'll be a little more insistent if this repeats itself. Overall a disappointment for the price

The atmosphere was fantastic. It had that somewhat intangible feel & smell of an old steak house, but without the remnants of cigarette smoke and dimly lit corners. The piano player set a nice ambiance to the evening, the wait staff was superb. Friendly but not overly chatty, they made us feel special and were attentive to our needs. The nicest thing was we never felt rushed at any point in the evening.

The food was fantastic. Can't say enough good things about the menu and the food preparation. The only question is when are we going back?

A beautiful setting and restaurant, but the night we visited was more than disappointing, it was insulting. Late serving, inexcusable absence of the waiter to our table, dry steak that I was told was meant to be served that way. Our experience was seconded by patrons who stopped at our table and related they were leaving due to the lengthy wait, and that a raw, uncooked burger was presented instead of the well-done one ordered. Really too bad, previous visits had been very special with outstanding service and delicious food. The prices ,however, did not acknowledge this shameful decline in service and product.
