Greer food and ambience
EVERYTHING, I really mean EVERYTHING is nothing short than spectacular. 2 thumbs up!
First time eating here- will definitely return :) service and food were great.
Delicious, fresh Lebanese food. Fantastic and friendly service. Full bar. Perfect spot to dine in San Juan Capistrano
Took one hour to get food, and when it finally came the portions were small and the food was just OK. we were the only table in the restaurant at the time. They said they were working on a banquet order. Not a great experience.
Excellent menu selections and service. Eggplant salad, Chicken Kafta, and Beef & Lamb Shawarma were all well prepared and very tasty. We'll be back.
Our Waitress was the greatest...wish I remembered her name...we were out on the patio that night so maybe that will tell whom our waitress was.
Food was absolutely delicious! Our server was very helpful and had great recommendations. The lamb kabobs were delicious, the hummus was the best we've ever had and the baklava ice cream was to die for.
Great Lebanese food with waiters and waitresses that really enjoy their job and interacting with you.
We had a table or 10 set beautifully. Service started immediately even though all hadn’t arrived. We started with a drink to go along with our conversation. Everyone loved their entrees, warm wonderful fresh pita bread was generously served. We asked for and were given separate checks that were accurate. This is a wonderful restaurant for a casual lunch or special occasion dinner. We were treated so graciously.
This is a restaurant where you truly get what you pay for. The food is typically Mediterranean with plenty of variety for anyone from vegetarian to carnivore. The service is always friendly and helpful. The wine list needs work, but they do have a few good ones. The overall experience is that you get plenty of good food for what you pay. Best endorsement I can give is that I have been back repeatedly.
The food was tasty, and the service was excellent. Very good value. Will definitely come again. Brought our Jordanian neighbor with us. He is very picky, and he was content.
We had a wonderful time. Will definitely go back again soon.
Checking in with hostess no reservation on the book. My sister had arrived before me (reservation was in my name) and was not treated well. I showed hostess my reservation confirmation on my phone. Evidently they had no record of it. She said they’d have a table for us in a while. Very cold. No smiles. But things turned around once we were seated. Our server was a darling warm young man. Food was excellent. We split the Sultans Feast and everything was delicious. Loved the place except for the hostess. Hope she was just having a bad day and that’s not her normal demeanor.
Great food. We enjoyed our meal and it was very good. Horrible experience with waiters... literally running from table to kitchen to patio and table to table. Was very nerve wracking and hard to enjoy the experience.
I understand when a restaurant is short-staffed but visibly through the entire meal watching running or extremely hurried waiters isn’t relaxing.
Excellent service and excellent food! Our waiter made our birthday celebration extra special! We had a fantastic time!
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was terrific.
Food was just marginal, but service was outstanding.
Olives Branch is our go to place when friends and family come to town. We order everything off the appetizers menu and share family style, just like the Lebanese culture shares meals. My wife is Lebanese and the authentic flavors, service, and care are just like being at Situ's house. The food is fresh, home made and the best Lebanese cuisine you will find ANYWHERE in So Cal.
The Dinner was Great, low level of noise, nice ambiance.
This was the very first time after five years of living in OC that we felt we found authentic Lebanese or Mediterranean cuisine. Depending when you go - it can be very loud or a reasonable ambiance you can hear well in. Saturday nights will be loud due to DJ and dancer.
The food in this place is by far one of the best Lebanese/Persian ones we have had in Southern California. The place itself is not very pretty, and it is located on an outdoors plaza, but the flavor of the food and the friendly service is superb. The prices are fair as well. Definitely a place we will repeat again and again!
They have the wrong menu on website and opentable ... it shows a med. pizza and going to eat with kids that makes a big difference.
Food is excellent and authentic
The Olives Branch is a great place to hold small lunches or dinner gatherings or as for us a large family gathering 11 of us....with 5 kids under the age of 8... food was great! They are so helpful when we visit with so many kids in tow.
The food was absolutely phenomenal! My parents had the pork chops and I had the filet mignon kebab. Our waiter Darian was very good and the ambience is lovely. Their rice pudding and baklawa are to die for.
Never even got to eat here! Book reservation and when we showed up we were told that a reservation doesn’t mean we will be seated right away it just means we will be seated at some point. We will never go back!
First time visit and the food was good. The reviews were good for the baklava ice cream and it did not disappoint
The food is always great and the service is relaxed and friendly. A real treat that keeps many of us coming back!
Service and food was excellent. Be sure to try the Baklava ice cream!
The Olive's Branch presents a variety of Lebanese/Mediterranean dishes that are scrumptious. We began with the Baba Ganoush which may have been the best we ever had. My husband had a chicken dish (I forget which one) which he loved, and my friend had the Falafel. The Falafel was actually moist inside; the ones i have had in the past were quite dry. I am a vegetarian and had the grilled vegetables, which were delicious and delightfully spiced (not hot, as I do not like hot). Service was also great; when my friend didn't like her drink, the bartender made her another which was Lebanese inspired and delicious. We will be back!
First time here and it won’t be the last! Food was amazing! My husband and I both had the lamb and beef shawarma! Make sure you order a side of Garlic sauce, so amazing. We Will be back soon for sure. Great service too, very attentive!
We went for Valentines Day and had a fabulous meal and experience. We ate all vegetarian options and everything was delicious. Very friendly staff and casual, but lovely environment. We will definitely go back. Greek salad was my favorite. Good for families and date night.
Olives Branch is one of our favorite places, we love bringing friends and order a bunch of different things off the menu and sharing. My wife is Lebanese and the food reminds her of the food she had growing up, very authentic and different. The staff is amazing. We went with friends this weekend, and as we left, Omar, the owner, actually came out to the parking lot because he didn't get a chance to thank us before we left. And if you're into hookah, this is the place! Amazing house crafted blends. If you haven't been here, you are missing out!
The experience was promising at the start but went down hill at a very slow and not too drastic of a pace. The service was pleasant but slow because of being understaffed. It is a recommendation of this reviewer that you should dine outside or bring a respirator due to the non smoke ventilating exhaust hood that hovers above the stove and allow every bit of smoke to fill the small venue.
Great food! Only one server and there were a bunch of parties for lunch. Our server was great, but over extended.
I took my son and a few friends here because they love middle eastern food. We loved everything and it was like food my grandmother and mother made. Very authentic.
We have eaten here since they opened. They have added some great authentic dishes to the menu. We always order the kabobs with rice, hummus and salad. The food is always hot off the grill, tastie, and healthy!
The Best Ever!
