The Olive Tree – found below Russel Street’s unique Queensberry Hotel – is one of Bath's longest established independent restaurants; it’s held a Michelin Star since 2018 and is Somerset's only 4 AA-rosette restaurant.
Chris Cleghorn is Executive Chef and the kitchen’s driving force; he honed his exceptional skills in many top restaurants,and prioritises relationships with local suppliers. By fully committing to seasonality and local produce, he showcases the best of Bath and British cuisine.
Enjoy our Taste of the Season menus in differently delicious ways:
£190 - Seven courses, along with our 'To Start', bread and 'To Finish'.
£140 - A selection of five dishes from the full menu, along with our 'To Start', bread and 'To Finish'.
£90 - Set menu of three dishes, along with our 'To Start', bread and 'To Finish'. Not available Saturday evenings or in graduation week.
£60 - Set menu of two dishes, along with our 'To Start', bread and 'To Finish'. Available at lunchtime, Friday-Sunday.

Best meal I can remember. Gorgeous setting, service is just right (everyone is so young but they really get it). Food was just fun and delicious, pacing was spot on. You won’t regret eating here.

Without a doubt the nicest meal we've ever had! Our first Michelin Star restaurant set menu, we went for the 5 course which ended up being about 8 servings. The staff were absolutely lovely, very friendly and accommodating. What's even better is they try to have the chef who cooks the dish brings it to you and explain the dish (whilst we pretended to know everything they were saying), the wine pairing was perfect and complimented the food spectacularly! Thank you to all the staff there, it was a beautiful experience to celebrate our engagement!

Lovely restaurant. We did the 5 course tasting and were quite full at the end. Every course was unique. We did ask for accommodations for a seafood dislike and they had a custom menu for that person. Quite expensive at almost 400.00. But would return again.

Just brilliant. The food was superb. The wine was excellent. But the service was AMAZING. Great value 3-course set lunch too. We will return!!
