The Olive & Grape
The Olive and Grape opened in September 2010. The owner, Paola Corsini, is third-generation Italian Levantine, born and raised in Izmir, Turkey. Paola's distinct culture is represented in the menu at The Olive and Grape. Each and every meal served is infused with the traditions of Turkish and Italian cuisine.
Family run Resturant with delicious food and friendly atmosphere. Definitely a place for family and friends
We had to wait a long time for our dinners because of a large party.
The special, braised lamb shank, was really good, fall off the bone tender.
We enjoyed ourselves and had a great opportunity to visit. The food was delicious and very nicely presented. I particularly liked the calamari.
Honestly, this is one of our favorite restaurants. Paola and Chris are such wonderful hosts and the food is so comforting and delicious. This visit was to celebrate my birthday and I wasn’t disappointed!
We enjoy going to OG when we are in the Greenwood neighborhood. The food and service is always spot on! Highly recommend this neighborhood gem.
Wile I know that lots of people love this place, we found the food rather bland.
Nice vibe and very good food, you can tell the family cares about their restaurant and their customers.
A real surprise. I noticed the place waiting for a bus and a friend and I tried it for the first time during Restaurant Week. Arancini for the antipasto--unusual to find in Seattle--, outstanding mixed skewers with splendid ground lamb, and two different desserts. Looking through the menu, there are so many appealing things to try. Waitstaff friendly but not overbearing or invasive. A warm and inviting atmosphere.
Excellent food with great flavors! the ambiance was good for a family dinner or date night. Great time, will go back again!
Food was delicious, all staff members were friendly, polite, and prompt. It truly felt like a family run restaurant. Will definitely be returning!
Olive and Grape is our go to neighborhood restaurant. Good food and a happy place. Nice friendly owners Paola and Chris. Food is always good.
Have been going here for many years and it has always been stellar!
Great experience !
The Olive and Grape never disappoints. It’s a lively, comfortable, friendly neighborhood restaurant. The food is always wonderful. This latest visit was during Seattle Restaurant week and I tried the lamb shank which was absolutely delicious.
Always wonderful to enjoy family gatherings at Olive and Grape - Paola is an incredible hostess and the food from her family's recipes is unlike any other. Warm, welcoming, delicious.
We really enjoyed our night out at the Olive and Grape. When we first booked the reservation I was thinking, "Greek food?", but the menu was much broader than that and the food and service were very good. We had a great time.
We dine here whenever we go to Taproot Theatre. It’s always great! 😊
We love this place! The family that owns it are wonderful people and the food is delicious! We've never been disappointed, would highly recommend.
The staff at The Olive and the Grape are consistently good. They take care of us when we need them and they seem to disappear when we don't. I've tried a number of different things on the menu and never been disappointed.
We regularly go to Olive and Grape before Taproot Theatre performances.
We appreciate the delicious food, the great service, and the relaxed atmosphere.
The food is wonderful as is the environment. Warm and friendly. What a gem!
Love the octopus.—————————-/————————-/————:;:-:/:/(($$&&/)$(
We had a great meal here starting with their mini lamb skewers followed by a greek salad. Our entrees were the dumplings and sirloin skewers. All the ingredients were fresh and cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back.
Casual ambiance very welcoming. Food was fun and very yummy
I had the chicken kabob, the seasoning was alive with flavor, the chicken moist and the veggies cooked just right. They easily accommodated diet restrictions offering lovely alternatives. It was a warm day and having the sidewalk side open allowed a lovely breeze to flow in. Service warm, friendly, attentive and timely.
The owners, Paola and Chris, are very attentive to customers' needs. The Mediterranean food is deliciously, creatively prepared and very fresh, of course. The atmosphere is lively. After the theater crowd leaves at 7:45, the restaurant is quieter.
The food was delicious. I had the Alinazik, smoked beef cubes on warm yoghurt with some egg plant, with a half Greek salad and my wife had Gnocchi with meat sauce. The only downside initially was keeping the sliding door open and front door open on a cool night, causing a draft to chill my feet. They were kind enough to close this when I complained. We had baklava and gelato for dessert. Olive and Greek, I believe, have Turkish proprietors who bring Turkish, Greek and Italian cuisine to their menu with quality.
We’ve been visiting The Olive & Grape regularly for several years and have always had good meals. Lots of flavorful, healthful choices on the menu. It’s not very big, so we make reservations for weekend visits, but the decor and ambiance are charming. And the staff is always friendly and accommodating. It’s our favorite restaurant in the local area.
I felt they were a bit cheap with the pita and the portions, but a minor problem. They food and service was very good.
What a lovely dinner we had! This family owned restaurant feels like home but still perfect for a night out. The menu has dishes that offer a new pallet for me and the tiramisu is wonderful!
We love Olive & Grape for its delicious Mediterranean and Italian cuisine, cozy ambiance and service. It is the perfect place to get a bite before attending Taproot Theater.
We love Taproot Theatre and we love starting the evening at Olive & Grape since it's just around the corner. Always great food and service from the owner and her happy staff. Lots of choices on the menu including Keto and Gluten Free options.
We regularly usher at Taproot Theatre around the corner and, in effect, have a standing reservation for dinner at The Olive and Grape afterwards. It's a perfect conclusion to a wonderful afternoon of the arts and eating in Seattle.
I love eating at Olive and Grape, and it's always nice to see Paola. She is so warm and welcoming. My favorite dinner at Olive and Grape is their Moussaka. It's a little different than the traditional Greek Moussaka, but I like it better. The Olive and Grape is a great restaurant to eat at before going to the Taproot. Cheers to Olive and Grape!
Love this place! We go there before every Taproot performance.
What a find! We will be back for sure.
First time at Olive and Grape but not our last. Delicious food and friendly service!
Great service, great food, and able to make it to Taproot Theater in time for the show!
Wonderful food and service--very consistent friendly service and excellent quality of authentic Greek food.
