The Olive & Grape
The Olive and Grape opened in September 2010. The owner, Paola Corsini, is third-generation Italian Levantine, born and raised in Izmir, Turkey. Paola's distinct culture is represented in the menu at The Olive and Grape. Each and every meal served is infused with the traditions of Turkish and Italian cuisine.
We celebrated my husband's birthday! with kids in tow.. Food was very good and staff very accommodating with the my little ones. We brought our cake and they helps us setting up and candles.
It was a great night.
Still the best value in Greenwood! Fresh, healthy food prepared by a chef who knows and cares about quality and value. Especially great menu for low-carbohydrate diets.
Delightful waitress - helped us with our menu (and proper Turkish pronunciations). Food was excellent and transported my friends and I back to our time together traveling through that country.
This restaurant had a warm welcoming small neighborhood feeling like you were invited to a friends family dinner. The chef was working service with 2 young men (probably sons). Even included some minor bickering for authenticity. Everyone showed a sincerity and concern for delivering a nice Valentines experience. The salmon gnocchi was not complicated but tasted yummy. Good place for a contrasting experience to capitol hill.
My favorite place for Turkish food! But they also have very tasty Greek and Italian offerings. Service is friendly and efficient. Took my parents for their first time. We ordered the Turkish platter, octopus leg (AMAZING!), Greek and arugula salads, two Turkish dishes, a Greek kabob duo, gelato, baklava, tiramisu and Turkish coffees. We would order every item again!
Excellent Mediterranean food and service. Full bar and oppen cooking area. We were there on a weekday evening so there were only a few other diners. On weekends, you should make reservations. Moderately high cost but worth it! We will be going back soon!
The delightful staff at Olive & Grape continues to give us attentive, cheerful service along with excellent food at very reasonable prices. Our favorite dining place when we come to Taproot Theatre plays!
Thanks so much.
We love Paola and Chris. Lovely evening with friends.
We went for dinner on NYE and enjoyed a great meal and live music. Very yummy and nice to have some entertainment.
Excellent experience! Paola and Chris did a fantastic job of making our party feel comfortable. Food was amazing, can't go wrong with the dolmades!
Really enjoyed the staff and food and will come again.
We went to the O & G before walking to the Taproot theater. Wonderful experience!!!
A real find. Free parking nearby, very good Greek Restaurant.
We enjoyed the pasta dishes and Greek salad.s. The portions were generous. It was very convenient to the Taproot theater. The service felt slow and we had 2 different servers, neither of whom were particularly friendly. I would try it again.
My go-to restaurant in the Greenwood area. Excellent and consistent food that always pleases my guests. The Masakka is completely different than any you have ever had. I order it every time I go, not heavy - but very light with a ton of veggies. The Turkish Alinazik is also very good if you eat beef. A lot of vegetarian options to chose from as well. HIghly recommended.
The Olive and The Grape is very good spot to share a meal with family and friends and they do a good job of accommodating you when wanting to make it to the theatre.
We had a good time and the food was tasty. There feta cheese was very good.
We love Olive & Grape and will be back there in the next few weeks.
Eating at The Olive & The Grape is like returning to family. The ambiance is as warm as the greeting you get when you enter the door. The only problem with the menu is choosing just one or two items. Everything offered looks delicious and tempting. And, everything that I had was done to perfection and very tasty! I highly recommend this restaurant. I know that you will not be disappointed!
I enjoy eating at this restaurant. The food is great. They are crowded so it took some time to find a table when our reservation was at 6.
While visiting the area from Alaska we selected this lovely restaurant for its close location to Taproot Theater where we had tickets. The food was incredible! Very small, cozy & intimate space. The service was good, but could use perhaps one other server!
This continues to be THE place where friends and I eat before attending Taproot Theatre. I'm lucky enough to just live a few blocks away so I visit at other times, too!
Great meal, great service and timed perfectly to get to theater performance!
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Seattle. I would characterize it as friendly, comfortable and energetic. Paola and Chris always make us feel so welcome. And the food is delicious!
We really enjoyed the food, and the staff were wonderful! Highly recommend!
We always enjoy having dinner at the Olive and Grape. The food is always outstanding and they have a nice selection of wine too! The service is wonderful, Paola the owner always make us feel welcome. I wish there was an Ilive and Grape in the Eastside!!!
Great food, friendly service, in a warm, neighborhood restaurant.
Excellent tastes and excellent value! Authentic Turkish dishes.
Delicious food, great ambience/decor, and wonderful service! Will definitely be back for another date night.
We went for restaurant week and it was quite good. One of my favorites.
I visited this time to try the new options on the Seattle Restaurant Week set menu. I had the Turkish sampler meze and the rib eye steak main. Both were excellent, as you expect from this chef, but the stand out was the dessert. I'm a diabetic, so rarely taste sweets, and this keto-friendly (therefore diabetic friendly) affogato was absolutely fantastic.
Friendly owners and chef. Good food and casual neighborhood dinning. Reasonable price and the chef is very accommodating. A restaurant serving good Italian and Mediterranean food.
First time there. Food came out quickly, even with a full house. Red pepper appetizer was delicious, but a bit small. Dinners were a generous portion and a good mix of veggies and protein. Great food, will be back!
As the Autumn weather cools and the garage door at the O&G rolls down, Paola, Chris, and their team keep the warmth of Summer going through great food, attentive service, and the Mediterranean hospitality they are famous for.
Our go-to spot for dinner before a play at the Taproot Theatre in Greenwood. We love the food and the people.
Heard about Olive & Grape through Taproot Theater nearby and so glad we went before the show! The ambiance was cute and eclectic - think bicycles, hot air balloons, lanterns, and a mediterranean feel. Service was friendly if a little haphazard. Food was delicious and fun. We really enjoyed trying turkish-style dumplings and we could have ordered a half dozen other items and been happy. Will definitely be back!
Always love to come to Olive & Grape. We have enjoyed just getting a variety of appetizers and also enjoyed a wide variety of the entrees. Some good wine and a good selection for the kids. We will be back within the month to try other items on the menus we missed the last time.
We love this place!
The Olive and the Grape has been our after-theatre choice for dinner for several years now -- very happy with the experience.
As usual we had a wonderful meal. Owners Paola and Chris are always so welcoming. We enjoy coming here for a casual meal or for special occasion. They also do a wonderful job for a catered meal.
