The Olde Pink House Restaurant
Beautiful place. Food was delicious, desserts were great. Our server was cheerful, polite and knowledgeable! They acknowledged our 25 th anniversary by writing it in the dessert plate in chocolate
Table in center of room continually screaming to where you couldn’t have a conversation with the person sitting across from you. Server didn’t even offer a desert menu, just brought check
Good food and good service. They want to make sure we were provided a superior dining experience.
We were pleasantly and professionally received when we arrived for our reservation and directed to a small waiting area to await our table. Service was exceptional from the waitstaff to the host and hostesses. Just my husband and myself were seated at a window table and we admired the old school setting and decorations. My husband had the braised pork shank and I, the pecan crusted chicken breast with greens and sweet potato. The food was presented beautifully, was hot and perfectly seasoned. We happily recommend that you try this restaurant if you are in Savannah.
The Olde Pink House had been recommended by many friends who had been to Savannah and it didn’t disappoint. Fortunately the flounder’s head had been removed. The meal was excellent. Atmosphere inviting. We had an excellent meal and experience.
Amazing food, loved the shrimp and grits appetizer.
Vacation special dinner. Loved every minute.
We were seated in the ballroom banquet room area. A large expansive open room. Not very intimate. My fault for not making a request. Food was mediocre at best. Wine list was extremely limited. Waiter spoke like she had just drank 3 Red Bulls. The people at the next table had to ask her to please slow down. I would not recommend this restaurant.
We were there at 7 pm. They must have failed to alert you
Our bill was $122oo plus a 35.00 tip
Visiting from out of town. Everything was amazing. !!!
Beautiful old mansion in Savannah with many rooms. We were seated in a small candle lit room upstairs. We had fantastic service. Portions are quite large. We split jalapeño Mac and cheese poppers and the blt salad. Poppers were amazing. One of us got pecan chicken and took half home. The other got pork shank and also had some left. Sides were phenomenal especially the collard greens and Mac and cheese. No rush at this restaurant. We were there 2 1/2 hours Save room for pecan pie!!!! We would return again!
We had the Vault, was very nice EXCEPT the chairs.....please change them, lack of comfort played a part in not all 100%
It was nice. Good food, good friends.
TJ/ Anthony our server was top of the pack. Friendly, attentive smart and knowledgeable. If you are in town and are lucky enough to him as your server you experience goes up 10 fold.
This is my second time at Ole Pink House, my husband's first. We had the fried green tomato salad which was outstanding. My husband had the crispy flounder and I has a grouper filet stuffed with crab. Our meal was outstanding and the service was attentive, but not overly rushed. Highly recommend this restaurant. Deserves it's annual praise as one of the best restaurants in the South.
This house is so elegant and beautiful!! We were seated in a quiet room in a corner. The table had a real burning candle on it. The ambiance of the room was so romantic and elegant. The food was delicious and service impeccable. This is a must place to dine when in Savannah!!
The place is beautiful, service was great, super attentive! The crab cake and fried shrimp and oysters were awesome.
We absolutely loved our experience... food & service was amazing!
Phenomenal service with a great ambiance! The food was solid, reasonably priced, and the waiters and staff were professional and attentive. The people who work there really make the place.
It was absolutely wonderful! A must if in Savannah! Reservations are necessary for sure.
Service was excellent and room lovely . Food came out quickly but it was very busy and a lot going on . Would
We had a wonderful dinner, the food was terrific and the service we has by Katie was perfect, can’t wait to go back
Awesome restaurant. Loved seeing all the different dining rooms. Very neat place!
Filet was expensive, but tough and over cooked. Meal seemed to have been under a heat lamp for a long time, drying out the twice baked potato. Service was not fine dining, and poor even for bar service. Do not recommend.
Our experience with The Olde Pink House was horrific. We were celebrating our anniversary and made a reservation, noting the special occasion and requesting a quiet table. We dressed for a nice dinner, me in a dress and heels and my husband in a sports coat, anticipating a wonderful evening ahead. When we arrived, we were met with chaos and greeted in a rushed manner before being taken to a table in a very loud and crowded room. We sat for ten minutes before even having our water glasses filled by an employee who was sure to tell us that he was not our waiter and was just assisting. So, another five minutes went by before our waiter arrived. In the meantime, a very loud and boisterous man sat at the table next to us and made his presence known to the entire restaurant. To say he was obnoxious would be an understatement...far from the "quiet table" we requested upon making our reservation weeks earlier. At this time my husband returned to the hostess stand and requested we be moved to another table in a quieter room. Meanwhile, the waiter finally showed up and abruptly asked if we had decided on drinks. I informed him I was unsure what my husband wanted and that we should wait for him to return, at which point my husband motioned for me to follow him as the hostess was going to move us. We were then corralled to a waiting area while they set up our table. At no point were we offered a cocktail or anything else while we waited. We began to look around at the various people milling about and noticed that there were several wearing shorts and flip-flops waiting to be seated. It was very off-putting after what we had already dealt with. It is absurd that a restaurant deemed "special occasion" and "high end" would not have a dress code that is enforced. Between that and the cattle call and rushed atmosphere, we decided that this was not somewhere we wanted to spend our anniversary and chose to leave the restaurant. We ended up at Elizabeth on 37th which was divine.
Good food, as always, but the service was amateurish and error prone. And we were parked in the banquet room, by far the least charming g of the restaurants many rooms. A disappointment for a romantic dinner for two
Amazing food and the place is stunning. A must go to if in savannah
Was disappointed with ny entree of chicken pot pie. Very watery.
Great southern cusine.
My husband and I visit Savannah every year to eat at The Olde Pink House. We have been 8 years in a row. The food is always PERFECT and we always have excellent service. Not one single complaint ever. This is by far the very best restaurant in the south.
We came all the way from NJ with my nieces to have the fried chicken. They were sold out! We were beyond disappointed. Waited close to 30 minutes to be seated after our reservation time. Great service but not our best experience there.
Excellent food and service in a unique and charming location.
Amazing experience overall: ambiance, service & food!
Our meal and service was wonderful. Our staff provided historical information of the Pink House. We will definitely go back.
We were there for a surprise birthday party for my wife. We were seated in a private room without requesting one which was greatly appreciated. Our server was very professional and extremely helpful. Words can not fully express how good the food was . Fantastic , superb, extraordinary , take you pick they all apply. We have eaten in many nice restaurants across this country and this was definitely the best meal we have ever had.
Great experience, first time eating fried lobster tail. Memorable evening
Excellent service and great quality food! The entire team did a tremendous job! Would definitely recommend this experience!
Awesome place to dine Must on reservations food and service with low noise level perfect for special occasions Loved it!
We went for birthday dinners. The home is beautiful, the atmosphere elegant and yet energetic, the food amazing. Our server Latifah was incredible. She had memorized the menu, history of the building and could make accurate recommendations on my food allergies without having to go to the chef. Additionally, the manager, expediters and table side songstress were all gracious and accommodating. I would highly recommend this for any special occasion.
