The Olde Pink House Restaurant
Delicious food. Great staff. Amazing atmosphere. Everything I expected and more.
My husband and I had a wonderfully romantic birthday dinner.
The Olde Pink House deserves every bit of it's reputation as one of Savannah's best restaurants. The service, food, and ambience are outstanding. The hostess will give you a tour after your meal. The fried chicken breast with Vidalia onion gravy is fantastic.
Beautiful place, wonderful food.
Our server was sweet, but we waited forever for our entrées, while tables around us that were seated after us were already eating. The manager came over, but no compensation was made for our poor service. At one point we actually thought maybe the server was ill because it had been so long since she had come to our table, and we went a very long time without drinks even after she offered to bring us new ones. The food was alright, but not worth the price in our opinion. The ambience was outstanding however
Excellent lunch. The waitress (Ashley) was very informative and spoke loudly and clearly. Just a wonderful experience.
It was wonderful. The manager made sure we were taken care of and our server Taylor was fabulous. She knew everything about the place and the menu
The Olde Pink House is a must when visiting Savannah! Delicious food and outstanding service. The entire staff treats you like family and everyone is extremely professional and hospitable.
This was my third visit to Savannah, but my first visit to the Olde Pink House. I had previously written it off as a "tourist trap", however, my party was delighted by our reception, the food, and the building. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by staff who continued to chat until our turn at the hostess station. After confirming reservations, seating was immediate. Our server, Nia, was extremely personable and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was the best we had in our week in Savannah! We were greeted by the manager, who then brought a candle and a small birthday treat to the candle after asking if we were celebrating. (We were - this was our "splurge" dinner while in town for my sister's birthday. Our group especially loved the staff's encouragement to explore the House while we were visiting. We especially enjoyed exploring the bottom level where the Tavern is located. Fantastic visit and we will be back.
The country fried chicken was delicious, collard greens were a little salty though. Other side dish options included a salad and asparagus. We shared the appetizer of beignets stuffed with crab meat (5-6) between 4 adults. Amazing!
The pink lady drink was light and refreshing!
Our server and her assistant were well informed with the menu and gave their recommendations. They also told us the history of the house, so interesting!
We’ve eaten here 3 times now and highly recommend this place.
The food was delicious! The ambiance is nice, but it is a bit crowded.
Always delightful! Our first choice for friends who come to visit!
Only negative comment is we had a table with a wall mounted cabinet near me wife’s head. We had to move the table slightly to give her room to sit comfortability
Our dinner was wonderful. Very nice atmosphere, great staff and the food is fabulous. If you visit Savannah, you must have dinner at The Olde Pink House.
Great ambience and service. Food was disappointing though. Chicken was too salty.
We eat lunch at the Olde Pink House and the entire experience was great. The ladies especially enjoyed the “Pink Lady” drink
Some of the BEST southern food I’ve ever had (fried pork chop, fried chicken and collards)... shh don’t tell my mom or grandmother!
So much fun and the staff was so polite and knowledgeable about the history of the house. The meat was LITERALLY fall off the bone good.
Great meal. Obviously still renovating upper areas. Food quality was great. No issues with paint smell as others reported.
A bit of old southern charm with a diverse menu. Informative staff and live music in the speakeasy.
Delicious food. Attention to our dining experience such as refilling drinks could definitely be improved. We were there on Mother's Day and the place was packed. Staff members were very friendly including asking how our Mother's Day was going. Neat experience, historic building & delicious food. We will return again on another visit to Savannah.
Mother’s Day. The service was good for Mother’s Day so it would probably be great another day
Words cannot express how much we loved this place!! The atmosphere was beautiful, our waitress Amber was amazing and the food was one of the best meals we're ever had! My only regret is that we went on our last night in Savannah and couldn't go again. I loved everything-from the drinks, to the appetizers, the awesome BLT salad and the meal. The fried chicken is heavenly. Definitely would go there again if I'm ever in Savannah again- heck I might even go back to Savannah just to go back to this wonderful restaurant!
Beautiful historic restaurant. The service was great. The food was above average but not as good as the last time we ate there. We will be back!
Great food, service and ambiance. Not certain why it took so long for our food to arrive. Loved the lobster and stuffed shrimp.
Very nice ambience but not baby friendly. No changing table in the small bathroom. However, staff was very accommodating. The food was not what we were expecting. We were ready for sensational Southern cuisine, but it was average. The greens were delicious, but we felt that all else was just OK.
The atmosphere here is so cozy and really unique. Service was impeccable. Food was enjoyable. Drinks were fantastic.
A must experience when in Savannah. Historic charm and ambiance. Great service and delicious food.
They were painting the upstairs and the paint was so strong we had to leave early.
Outstanding experience....still some construction evident with smell of painting above but manageable.
This was recommended to us by a friend and we enjoyed it. Our service - by Anjail - was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, knowledgeable, personable and was absolutely delightful.
We got very lucky and were sat downstairs in a small private nook... the ambiance, the food, the service... everything was wonderful
Unfortunately the fire has impacted the pink house experience. With ongoing renovations you are greeted upon entering with a strong paint smell that is in the air everywhere. With the upper dining rooms closed, we sat in one of the first floor dining rooms which did not have as grand a feel to them. My food (ravioli) was so salty I could not finish it. The cocktails were great. The service was good with one exception, we felt like we had to guard our food because the server was overly eager to clear dishes, we lost a plate of grits before we were finished when we were busy talking. The prices are high for what it is at this time. Wait for the renovations to be completed and the paint smell to dissipate!
We had a 5pm reservation. Came early and had a drink in the downstairs lounge. Wonderful cocktails and delicious cheese straws. It was peaceful and quiet at 5pm. We avoided the big rush and crowds. Would recommend and come again! Shey was a great server!
We celebrated our 22nd anniverasry there and we were not disappointed, from the food to the service we were totally satisfied.
The food was hot and delicious. The spinach was flavorful with great texture. The server was attentive and pleasant. The historic atmosphere makes the experience memorable.
Excellent food. Great historical setting
Resturant seems to be struggling since they had a recent fire. The food was mediocre and there was a problem with my husbands entree. The manager did adjust our bill and apologized. I would give them six months to get back on their feet. We had better food the 1790 Restaurant.
Love the old building. The service was attentive but a little scripted and rushed. Fried chicken too salty for my husband and I. We both had appetizers for entrees. Scallops were very good and so was soft shell crab special. But overall it didn’t meet expectations.
