The Olde Pink House Restaurant
Bar Menu: Tuesday – Saturday 2:30-5:00
Dinner: Monday – Sunday 5:00-10:30
Amir, our waiter, was great and detailed oriented. The food was amazing.
Everything was incredible. The best fried chicken I have ever had. Service was impeccable. Strongly recommend.
This surpassed our expectations. I would love to try the tavern the next time we visit Savannah.
Small hiccups with our reservation and several loud parties near our table made the servers jobs difficult, but overall the food is fantastic. Just be aware that its a heavy stop for tourists and bachelorette parties.
The older pink house came highly recommended and it did not disappoint! The food was superb as was the service and wine menu. We loved the vibe of the basement tavern and the love pianist. This will be on our “must visit list” every time we’re in Savannah. Only small issue (which wasn’t really an issue for us but noticed it may have been for a few other couples in the room) was that a large, really drunk bachelorette party was seated in a private room right next to our dining room and they were VERY loud and obnoxious. A door to close off that room would’ve helped to keep the romantic vibe alive in our room or maybe a manager asking them to keep the noise down a little. They were just having fun but could see how people were a little turned off by it. We had a blast especially in the tavern after dinner and loved learning the history of the house.
Food was amazing!!!! Cute place!!! We will be back!!
Whenever we visit Savannah, we go to the Olde Pink House. We have never been disappointed. I got the grilled pork tenderloin with bourbon glaze, sweet potato with pecan vanilla butter, and collards. I have never had pork that was so tasty! It's cooked medium (unless you ask otherwise). Clearly, I'm used to overcooking it and drying it out, because this was tender and moist and the way it should be prepared. It was my husband's birthday, and they brought out a platter w/ Happy Birthday spelled in chocolate w/ fruit and cream. Very nice!
Great service. wonderful employees. Food was just excellent! We were treated "special" for our anniversary, much appreciated.
One of our all time favorite places.
Great place, went on our wedding night and was very nice. Only complaint would be is that we were all dressed up for a nice dinner but a lot of people in shorts and flip flops with tee shirts. Should be a dress policy but it was still a great experience.
I took my mom here for her 77th birthday. The staff was very nice. However, she has a shellfish allergy and her options were extremely limited. I was quite surprised that all foods are fried in the same oil and she couldn't order anything off the grill because they grill everything on the same area of the grill. She had pulled pork sliders which she enjoyed. My sister ordered the crab cakes or I should say cake. Her meal came with one very small crab cake between two slices of fried green tomatoes. I had the shrimp and grits. It was okay. They fry the grits, so you have a grit cake with some sauce and shrimp over it. I was most amazed as I watched them prepare a table for a group arriving. The table cloths we're perfectly placed with the silver meticulously arranged. Then two additional chairs were brought in for the guest. The seat cushions were torn, one almost torn off. It had more foam exposed than vinyl. The other was a prominent tear. I couldn't believe they would offer that to a guest. I've been to too many fine dining restaurants to see any of this as acceptable.
Mixed up our order a number of times. Food was below average.
A wonderful dining experience for lunch on a very hot day. After playing tourist all morning, this was just the respite we needed to cool off. Excellent food and great service. I loved my BLT salad with friend green tomatoes and my french Father loved his Shrimp and Grits (he was skeptical). Great cuisine with a southern twist and beautiful venue off one of Savanah's many gorgeous squares.
My daughter, grand babies, and I enjoyed the overall experience. We had a baby and toddler with us but tried to be very mindful of others. Thank goodness they were very well behaved. The hostess and our server made us very comfortable and were very kind and helpful. The food was outstanding.
Service and food was amazing. My daughter got reggae crab cake. Small portion but the taste was amazing!! I got the country fried chicken that was recommended to me by the server - can’t go wrong with this!!!! Nothing left on my plate!
We took our son and daughter-in-law here for lunch to celebrate their 20th anniversary. This was our first visit too and we were all wowed. The service was amazing - our server, “Q”, was attentive and professional while being friendly and helpful. What a wonderful experience! We all had the fried chicken and mac & cheese and I have to say it was one of my all time favorite meals. The half chicken was crunchy but moist and tender and so flavorful. And the mac & cheese was creamy and so delicious. It’s a wonderful building in the heart of the historic district. And we cannot wait to go back!
Several college girlfriends met for a reunion in Savannah and made reservations for lunch. The rooms were beautifully decorated and our waiter was exceptional. We had a wonderful meal and great conversation. There were only two other tables in our room, so it was quiet and easy to hear one another. Max’s Chicken was superb. It was a wonderful experience.
My wife and I had dinner here after we were married. Very good food and service.
Excellent food for a Southern Dining Enthusiast. Service was very attentive...try the “Pink Lady” drink....smooth, and delicious for a hot Savannah summer night.
We went here as it was recommended by family who lives in Savannah. It wasn’t just two of us and they put us in the big room upstairs. It was VERY noisy. I wish they had offered us a quieter area. If we get back to Savannah we would definitely ask for a quieter room. The service was great and the food was very good.
Food was good. Service was nice. I’d recommend for special occasions. Also I wouldn’t bring younger kiddos, maybe teens but no one younger than that.
Fantastic as always. If you want unique southern dining in a gorgeous atmosphere, this is the place for you. Impeccable service and even better food.
Fantastic meal and very cool environment! Will definitely be back....
Lovely meal. Sweet potato was cold and after telling maitre de it was still on our check. Trout dish packed flavor for the hype. Everything else was great.
Fantastic menu of old south southern dishes. Hard to choose just one. Each is done well. And the old house drips with southern charm.
We were told The Olde Pink House would be amazing, so we saved this dining experience for our last while vacationing in Savannah. The food was quite good and adequately matched descriptions. The price was slightly over for the portion, but quality made up for that. Our service however was deplorable. We ordered two courses: starters and main dishes, each took too long. (Expecting about an hour long lunch) We watched tables around us get their first and second courses and they had been seated after us. Finally, after waiting approx. 30 minutes for our main dishes (after appetizers cleared), our server acknowledged the wait and said she was having a manager check on our food. Food arrived within 5 minutes. I had planned on ordering dessert, but sat for another 10-15 minutes with dirty plates on the table and it was 90 minutes from our reservation time and when we sat down. (That’s a long lunch) I wasn’t going to wait another 20-30 for dessert. As a former restaurant person, I know stuff can happen and wasn’t looking for anything for free. I would have grately appreciated for the manager to come by and personally apologize for the delay. When I’m in a restaurant of that caliber, at that price point, I expect that all areas of the experience to be high quality. For The Olde Pink House, I hope this experience was not the norm. I will not return, nor would I recommend to anyone.
My friends and I were visiting Savannah for a few days. We also have a “fancy” night out. The Olde Pink House was the perfect choice. Our food was great and when we arrived with 1 extra person, the hostess was gracious and quickly able to accommodate us.
Awesome place. It’s a must visit when in Savannah.
We were visiting from out of town for my Daughter’s 16th Birthday. This was such a great experience.
Great Place!!! Food and service was top-notch! Dianna our waitress was FANTASTIC 😁
The lunch we had overall was $60.00 which anyone would agree is on the high side without any alcohol or dessert. I had the fried chicken and it was very salty and the breast tough. The Mac N Cheese was a bit bland. My spouse had the soup, green fried tomatoes, and the crab cake. She was satisfied with her meal. The service was excellent and the greeter (young fellow)went above and beyond to make us welcome.
Delicious and divine. The atmosphere to the staff was welcoming warm and exciting
It was a superb meal with fantastic service.
Just loved The Olde Pink House from the moment we entered to the time we left. We were greeted with the friendliest staff ever. Savannah definitely has the nicest residents that make you feel welcome to their city. The restaurant has wonderful atmosphere and the food was superb and the service was outstanding. My husband had the pork shank, which he loved!! The Mac and Cheese is a must have. A must do while in Savannah, you will not be disappointed.
Food was delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely a great special occasion restaurant, but a little pricey for just an everyday meal.
Great meal and great service- thanks Barry. This place never disappoints.
We loved it so much we will be returning again while on our visit ! Best service ever, and the food is true southern goodness.
The service was as great as the food! When in Savannah definitely visit this great restaurant! Also is supposedly haunted.
This was the perfect place for our dinner. It has all the history along with excellent food. The restaurant has beautiful rooms throughout the entire home. The basement tavern is extremely romantic, quaint and has so much character and history. You must put this on your list to see.
Simone was our waitress and she was amazing. Was my granddaughter‘s 18th birthday in the desert she brought out was super extra special. We ordered two appetizers and she split them up for us which was very thoughtful we didn’t even ask. Food on the entrée as always was out of this world delicious. A great special time.
Great place for celebrating special occasion. Walk thru the house and experience history. Lovely setting for candle lit dinner. Romantic!
