A great dining experience. Service, ambiance and the food amazing.
From the minute we arrived we were made to feel very special! We were greeted and taken to a very special window view table. Our lovely server was very attentive and helpful. The food was outstanding. I enjoyed fried green tomatoes—crispy and full of flavor! The scallops and sautéed spinach were exceptional in taste and texture! Love this dining experience! Special thanks to Megan for her spectacular service!
Awesome meal and the downstairs dining room is awesome.
Such a beautiful and historic building. Excellent service and food.
We came to Savannah and were told to eat at the Old Pink House. It was a wonderful experience and a beautiful place.
50th Birthday dinner was delicious.
Sat outside so we didn’t get to enjoy our dinner in the house. We went thru the rooms after dinner.
Very very dark lighting... couldn’t see food. I’ve never ate in such a dark room. The server was very nice, but never offered me a drink.. only water. The food mediocre.... like a chain restaurant. Definitely not worth the money. I ate at other high end restaurants while on my trip to Savannah and the cost was only $3 difference. The food here left much to be desired. The fried green tomatoes lacked flavor and could have used some salt. The sweet potato ravioli, the pasta was over cooked, therefor it fell apart when I tried to eat it. It was supposed to have button mushrooms... but had some other other substituted mushroom... I couldn’t see this dish, so dark.
The food was outstanding and the service could not have been better. Our table was in the old master bedroom and it was beautiful. We were celebrating our first anniversary with our first time in Savannah and we definitely chose the right restaurant!
Vacation. #1 recommendation from a few. Loved it. Wonderful service and atmosphere❤️
While the building and the history of the home were spectacular; the food and service were less than desirable. Our waitperson talked to the table of drunk twenty something couple for the majority of the time we were there. The food was late being served and tasted like something I could have had back home. The “signature” drink was like syrupy lemonade. Overall, we wouldn’t recommend this place for dining. Maybe drinks in the basement lounge to have a drink and hear the history of the home.
Waitress did not wear a mask even though every other staff member did.
Overall, the food was good, other than the fried green tomatoes, which were a bit soggy and not crispy at all. The chicken pot pie was excellent, though it could have used some heat to elevate the dish - maybe a dash of cayenne or Cajun seasoning would have taken it up a notch. My main problem was that during this pandemic, none of the servers were wearing masks. While my wife and I are vaccinated, it still made us feel slightly uncomfortable seeing servers, who attend to many other diners, not wearing a mask.
On a recent "first time" visit to Savannah with a friend, we had a fantastic dining experience at the Olde Pink House. Our server "Kayla" was a complete delight and her recommendations were spot on. Dinning upstairs on the patio, on a perfect Savannah evening was one we will savor and remember for a very long time.
This was our second visit to the Old Pink House and we were really looking forward to it as we had an excellent experience during the first visit.
Unfortunately this visit came up short. Our entrees (salmon and ravioli) were overcooked. We didn't complain as we had waited a while for the entrees and were too hungry to wait any longer. The apps were only fair. The fried green tomatoes weren't the same presentation as last time (very small portion) and the artichoke fritter was very hard and difficult to eat.
We sat by a window and couldn't help notice the layer of dust on the sill and dirty window.
The portion of wine by the glass was about 3-4 oz. not acceptable when charging fine dining prices.
The Olde Pink House never disappoints. It is our favorite place to enjoy a special occasion.
Our server was friendly, professional and knowledgeable.
Best meal in Savannah!!! Service was excellent and the food was even better.
Twyla and Brian were outstanding. The whole staff made my wife feel special on her birthday. The food was beyond description: I highly recommend the fried chicken! Thanks to everyone for a wonderfully memorable experience!
The food , atmosphere, and service were excellent. Our waitress Sidney(I hope that's how she spells it) was friendly, very knowledgeable, professional, and super friendly. I ordered the special, it was good. Although I did not ask what the price of the special was, I was a little surprised at how much it cost. It was good but not that price good. All and all it was a good experience. I still would recommend this experience. Word of advice, if you can book a table in advance.
Awesome for our Anniversary celebration. Food and service were amazing as usual.
Wonderful evening! Service and food was outstanding.
Great atmosphere eating in the old kitchen. Server was very knowledgeable and attentive. Food was fabulous: pork sliders, calamari, red snapper and shrimp & scallop fettuccine.
Overall wonderful experience besides seeing Palmeto bug on floor!
Absolutely wonderful experience dining here. The food was amazing and the host and server could not have been more friendly and helpful. Thank you so much, I'd highly recommend!
Great food, excellent service and well kept historical location. Fantastic experience. Highly recommend this Savannah staple.
Very disappointed. Heard so much about it & was excited to take a 1st Viator to Savannah there for dinner. Host said our table was being cleared & to have a seat then forgot us. Went to host stand to see status to find a host & who seemed to be a manager arguing over where to seat someone without any acknowledgement of me standing in front of them (I assume Me). I ordered the special stuffed snapper and it was completely over cooked I replaced the order with the blackened oyster which were good not great or really memorable. My guest’s pecan crusted chicken was dry and very disappointing. The server was very attentive and friendly. I won’t be back and will not suggest to others. I was also surprised that the manager never came by the table even after sending back my meal.
Excellent. Beautiful place. Make your reservations several weeks before so you can get a good time. We booked 3 weeks in advance and the only time available Thursday Friday or Saturday was at 9:30 pm. Worth it though!
The restaurant is beautiful and elegant. My expectations were set so high that sadly they were not met. The biscuit basket was not as expected. My food was very good but not any better than other restaurants I ate at on my trip to Charleston and Savannah. I recommend going there with reservations for the experience but the food was on par with other very good restaurants in area.
This was the second time I've eaten at The Olde Pink House. Such a cool house with a fascinating history! Our server was lovely as was the setting, but the food was not up to par. I ordered the scallops and shrimp - the scallops were very good, the shrimp fine, but the pasta in parmesan cream sauce was a heavy lump. A little disappointing...
We had a really nice table on the deck overlooking the river. I’d have given everything 5 stars but the scallops my sister and I ordered (also highly recommended by our server) had already sold out. I got the Mahi and she got shrimp and both were very good.
Scallops and shrimp in the Parmesan cream sauce was not hot enough at all. As a result the sauce was too tight
Love going to The Ole Pink House! Every time I visit Savannah I have dinner there. Delicious!!!
We had an excellent meal for our anniversary at the Olde Pink House along with 5 star service from our waiter, Brian. The filet mignon and fried chicken were both very good and were great recommendations from our waiter. We also enjoyed the key lime pie and pecan pie desserts.
The Olde Pink House is a fantastic place for a special occasion. We have been here twice for our anniversary. They really take good care of us!
Food was as good as expected, and service was incredible. Would love to come back.
Wonderful as usual. Service was excellent and the food was very good. Two of us had the flounder and o e had the shrimp and grits. Both were very good.
Creative and aspirational. Execution however, leaves a lot to be desired. Would not recommend.
As always it’s the best dining experience in Savannah! Sat in the bar in the basement, loved the ambience. Basement manager was Chris! He was fantastic! Will continue to come every time we’re in town.
