Our server Mark was wonderful. Fried chicken was outstanding
The fried green tomatoes were some of the best we've had. Max's fried chicken was greasy and the breast was dried out. The chicken at Mrs. Wilkes was much better
On vacation.
Fabulous. Basically flawless. Although busy and a bit louder than I care for, the food was exceptional, the service was beyond exceptional and the ambiance just magnificent. In four days we had 7 meals, all at highly rated restaurants and this was by far the best. Regrettably this was the LAST meal before heading to the airport so we only got to eat here once!
This was our second visit to the Olde Pink House. It was just as nice as the first time. I called and asked about their Corkage Policy and it is very friendly to the customer. No charge for the first bottle and additional bottles are only $10.00 each!
Not up to their reputation. Food was cold. Soup had to go back. Entree’s were lukewarm. No one finished their dinner. Many birthdays with constant singing spoiled the ambiance. Noticed other patrons complaining. Will not go back.
Service was great, food was average at best
We ate dinner in Bank Presidents office & ambiance was quiet & cozy. Service & food excellent. We had an after dinner drink in bar in cellar which was fun. Lady piano singer was very good!
Beautiful inside! Great food!
Had an absolutely wonderful meal! Sharese was the best server we had in Savannah - she made our lunch feel like a party 😊The cheese platter was delicious and we had the shrimp and sausage rolls and BLT salad. Had the quail entree and the fish taco entree - fish taco was deconstructed - amazing! Quail was also delicious. I would tell anyone traveling to Savannah that the Olde Pink House was a must visit!!!!
Great! Atmosphere is beautiful Chris our waiter was fabulous
We had a wonderful dinner. The food was awesome. Shrimp and scallops over fettuccine was wonderful. Ron loved the pecan crusted chicken with sweet potato and collard greens. Must try the Pink Lady beverage.
It is a beautiful place- food was good- not outstanding. But definitely an experience-
Excellent food. Great service. Beautiful atmosphere
Lots of selection on the menu. Excellent service. An awesome historical building.
Great food like always great staff
It was our special dinner on vacation.
It is a wonderful place. Great food and excellent service!
Excellent from start to finish. A truly unique place. Take a tour. It’s like nothing I’ve ever seen!
The Olde Pink House is a historic restaurant in Savannah. There are a variety of rooms within the restaurant that are cool and have a different vibe. We wanted to have dinner in the basement and we did get a table. However the table had a center pedestal and was too difficult to get comfortable which also made the chairs too far away from the table for eating. We asked to move and they obliged. The food was good, not great, but good enough to recommend for the historical significance of the experience.
Olde Pink House is a definite must in Savannah! Food and service do not disappoint. Southern Hospitality at its finest!
Theresa was a fantastic server! Food was excellent -- they are clearly super focused on quality.
First time here. Had 7 pm reservation but still had to stand aside and wait for table. Several other couples came in after and were seated promptly. Sat in large room that was up stairs in back of the restaurant. Very loud room. Looked like there were smaller rooms that are quieter. Waiter was pleasant but very slow to bring drinks. We had to ask for them! And by then had almost finished appetizers. Whole flounder was very good . Fried chicken was fine. Pecan apple salad was nice. Seemed like 7 pm was a very busy time and waitstaff seemed unable to serve properly. He did apologize for slowness more than once.
Great atmosphere and service. Food was really good. This place is perfect for a special occasion. Can be a bit noisy, but that's minor and no reason not to visit The Old Pink House. This was our second time dining here. We'll return soon.
The restaurant had a lovely setting but it was very noisy. It was advertised as a romantic dinner setting and the noisy vibe was at conflict with that. The food was excellent and portions were perfect. The waiter was friendly but hovered a bit too much. There was no written menu for dessert ( which we always enjoy). The waiter quickly ran through the options and because of the noise level we couldn’t hear all the options clearly so we just chose not to have any.
We loved the food and the whole experience and our server was amazing!
Delicious food artistically plated! Love the history of this restaurant and the choice of many smaller dining areas within. Would definitely visit again! Service was excellent and appreciated that staff could explain the restaurant historical past as well as were attentive to our needs.
Our dinner at Olde Pink House was amazing in every way from the food which was delicious to our courteous and informative server. He took the time to explain the dishes we had questions about and was just the right amount of attentive. We enjoyed pork shank and some of the best collards we’ve ever had. The fried chicken was phenomenal. Can’t wait to return to Savannah and visit the Olde Pink again!
The Olde Pink House was an amazing spot to celebrate my bachelorette. The atmosphere was very special and the lady who sang and took requests was amazing!!
Great food, great service. I go there every time I am in Savannah.
Really enjoyed the restaurant. Great atmosphere and service. Only thing that was a little disappointing was the bar was very crowded and hard to get a drink.
Loved the history behind this restaurant. Plenty of wine to choose from, one of a kind dishes, and fresh seafood. Authentic Southern Cuisine. The only downside was the portion of the scallops, only getting 3. As the main course, this was pretty disappointing. The dish was mostly green beans and mashed potatoes. My meal was also cooler than room temperature. I didn't want to send it back because our waitress was so great and I didn't want to cause any problems, but it should definitely something that has closer attention paid to.
We love eating at the Pink House! Whenever we travel to Savannah, it is our go to spot. Thank you for always delivering a wonderful experience!
We have never been disappointed. The staff and food are awesome!
The atmosphere was amazing. The food and service was fantastic! This is definitely a must visit while in Savannah!
The food great, but the service was extremely slow. We had to find our server to get drinks started. The food took over an hour and a half to come out. Shrimp and grits are the best on the menu. BLT salad is tiny!
Elegant and popular spot for visitors to Savannah's historic district. The menu is more refined than truly traditional, but they have dishes that will lure in those who wish to say that they 'did Savannah.' Best to make a reservation or risk a wait, especially during the weekend when the vacationers are everywhere to be found.
The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They made a beautiful dessert for my birthday and took a picture of us out front of the building.
A beautiful old house that deserves a closer look inside and out. Really great atmosphere.
The shrimp and grits were excellent. Smoked oysters were terrible. BLT salad was good. The service was exceptional.
The Tavern is one of a kind and well worth stopping in for some Madeira.
We had a wonderful evening.
We had a reservation and still had to wait for quite a while, however, one of the managers did send over free appetizers so that was okay and we appreciated it. However, our waiter was less than enthusiastic, not friendly at all, didn't really engage other than to take the orders. My friend ordered a salad and asked if she could get chicken on it, and the waiter said "yes, or shrimp or steak." So she picked steak. When the check came, they charged her the $37 for the steak entrée. and wouldn't correct it. Why he didn't say anything at time of ordering that if you order steak they will charge you the steak entrée price??? Oh, and the appetizers were on the bill as well. We had to tell them the manager sent those over. Poor communication amongst the staff. Even though this is a historic Savannah restaurant we were less than impressed and I would not recommend it to anyone. there are far better places with better service and better food. Very disappointing.
I had eaten here 10 years ago and loved a unique flounder dish. My husband and I were driving back up from Florida and I chose Savannah as a stop to break up the drive because of my memories of this restaurant! My husband had never been. It did not disappoint. They still had the scored flounder and it was as fabulous as I remembered. I normally don't like grits, but liked theirs. The room was lit by candlelight. It is a don't miss in Savannah.
