The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They made a beautiful dessert for my birthday and took a picture of us out front of the building.
A beautiful old house that deserves a closer look inside and out. Really great atmosphere.
The shrimp and grits were excellent. Smoked oysters were terrible. BLT salad was good. The service was exceptional.
The Tavern is one of a kind and well worth stopping in for some Madeira.
We had a wonderful evening.
Second time eating at The Olde Pink House, and it was just as good as we remembered it being 6 years ago. Service and food are both terrific!
The food and service were very good.
Our server was absolutely wonderful and the food was delicious!
Excellent restaurant in every single aspect of dining!!
The Olde Pink House restaurant served delicious food in a colonial setting. The fried chicken was outstanding as was the crab stuffed red snapper. The dessert ticket got lost. Although late, the pecan pie was a winner and were not charged for it.
It was our first visit to historic Savannah. It was highly recommended by my daughter and son-in-law to have dinner at The Olde Pink House. They are both chefs and felt it was a good recommendation.
It was fabulous food with excellent ambiance.
Can't wait to visit in the future.
Worth the money but a bit on the high side if you are looking for more budget conscious. Our server was great and told us about the history of old pink house. Great experience!! Scallops were delicious!!!!!
Service was excellent. Food was mediocre to awful. Four people, four entrées: everyone loved one appetizer. Nothing else positive to say about the food.
Good food and great ambiance. Service was quick despite the lunch crowd. Recommended to make reservations.
We went on a recommendation and were so glad we did!! Food and service was fabulous!! Best meal we ate while in Savannah!!
Excellent food...server was not friendly nor attentive
The singing on top of the regular noise was annoying. service was terribly slow. Food was okay, but not worth the price. I eat out a lot, and this is one I'll never visit again.
We had a lovely dinner here while visiting Savannah. Great start with BLT salad. Lobster and pork tenderloin with maple bourbon sauce were both great! Beautiful historic house with southern charm.
For our last night in Savannah we decided to splurge and eat at the Old Pink House. On arrival the front hall, and porch were overflowing with people - we were asked to wait in the park across the street as we had two children who couldn't wait in the bar. More than thirty minutes later, we again checked at the desk. This time they told us the table was being set. The setting took another 15 minutes. When we finally sat we were at a round table at the center of a small room surrounded by smaller tables. It felt crowded, was very loud and terribly impersonal. The waiter informed us he was training and proceeded to bumble the entire meal start to finish(nice guy not his fault trainees shouldn't be waiting on 7 tops without help). Spilled water down my back, incorrect meals to most, and drinks from the bar that took 20 minutes with wines by the glass short poured to not even half a glass. No-one never brought up the history of the house and every step was painfully slow. We didn't even look at dessert because we couldn't take another moment. I would not recommend, as they seem to have lost track of what is expected in fine dining.
Amazing Amazing Amazing...our server Mark was excellent, the food was beyond delicious, and the ambiance was just lovely. We will remember this experience for a long time. Thank you Olde Pink House!!
Basically a tourist trap. Neat old building but food was just ok. Would not recommend.
We ate outside because we has our dog with Our waiter was inept and horribly slow. My martini on the rocks was served with a lime slice rather than the 2olives I requested! Our appetizers, dinner and desert were superb. However, the white wine bottle was left on the table without being placed in a chilled bucket.
Our meal was worth the price. The service was significantly sub-standard
A lovely experience from the minute we walked in the door.
Lovely historic building with nice atmosphere and attentive waitstaff.
My mom and I visited the pink house on our vacation to Savannah and had lunch there. It’s outstanding! Swordfish tacos were to die for as were the pork sliders and the jalapeño marg. We almost went back again! Definitely take time to look around upstairs too. Highly recommended!
Went for lunch with reservations and they managed to seat us a bit early which was appreciated. The service was good but extremely slow. Food was also good but not remarkable.
The Olde Pink House is a restored historic building in the Historic District of Savannah. We had lunch. The lunch menu was not very exciting, and the food was southern style, but not great. I think the dinner service must be much better according to other reviewers. My friend ordered fried chicken with collard greens and she liked hers. My fried green tomatoes were nothing special.
Our server was wonderful. Made our 4th anniversary a memorable night. Love the food and the experience.
The historic building and overall ambiance and dining experience is very good but I felt the food was average across the board and since is a fairly premium priced establishment I would not return.
The food was delicious and we were seated at the time of our reservation. The curved staircase is a bit challenging so don’t be afraid to ask to use the elevator. Overall we enjoyed our dining experience.
average in every way food service etc. nothing special
The food and service were very good; however, the waiter did forget my wife's order for tea.
He brought it later but did not charge her for it.
Good service, great food, a really unique restaurant to take fiends.
Great ambiance and service. Beautiful venue. Very diverse menu. Lots to choose from. Must visit Plantation Bar on lower level. All candlelit.
The old pink house restaurant was so romantic and nice safe side. The food was delicious and the servers were great. They gave us a beautiful desert file anniversary. I highly recommend this place and I will go back again next time I go to Savannah.
The Olde Pink House is a beautiful old southern mansion that has been converted to a lovely restaurant with many rooms and a charming subterranean tavern. The food is delicious and presented very prettily. The service was friendly and efficient but a bit slow. We were treated to a guided tour of the house at the end of our meal. Well worth a visit.
Wonderful. Wait staff was extremely accommodating when we asked for a different table. Waiter VERY attentive and worked hard to add or leave off ingredients not wanted on our chosen dish. Waiter knowledgeable of history and was eager to share. I left my credit card by mistake, and was notified by phone before I could get less than a block away. I normally “shun” reviews, but this deserves 👍👍👍👍👍
Our first visit to the Pink House. Our experience was exceptional. The food was superb! If you go, try the crab Beniets (sp?) and the fried green tomatoes. I had the chicken fried steak with vidalia onion gravy - it was so very good. It was a perfect lunch all the way through.
My boyfriend and I were in Savannah for a night and decided to try this local staple for the first time. I had the Shrimp and Scallops over fettuccine and he had the pork tenderloin. The quality of the meal was excellent and our server was very attentive. I splurged and tried the Pink Lady cocktail, which was sweet and refreshing. We were upstairs in the ballroom, and while the décor wasn't what we normally like, it was charming and unique for a special date.
We had a terrible experience from almost start to finish. I had been to this restaurant before and liked it, and took my mom for her birthday because I wanted her to have an authentic Savannah experience and the Pink House is very beautiful and well-known landmark. When we checked in (our reservation was at 8 and we weren't seated until 8:30, btw, small issue), a host escorted a couple that had come in behind us to the bar to wait for their table to be prepared and completely ignored us. Then another host mentioned that he didn't ask us if we wanted to go to the bar because of my sister's "belly." She is not pregnant. They were out of the main course I ordered, and when the waitress came to inform me, she didn't have a menu and didn't provide one to allow me to choose another meal for another 15 minutes -- while she took care of other customers. My mom's ($45) steak that she ordered medium was incredibly rare when she ordered and because it needed to be cooked more, we had all finished before her dish returned.
The food was average, proteins were good when they were cooked correctly, but sides were not tasty at all. I try not to be nit-picky, but for a $200 meal, there's a standard that should be reached and this fell short in almost all markers of a dining experiences. We will not return and I cannot recommend.
All around great experience!
The restaurant seems like a tourist trap. We felt as though we were in the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland.
I ordered a glass of Shramsberg Sparkling Wine and I don’t think that is what I was served. The wine pours were very small. The food was mediocre.
