The Olde Pink House Restaurant
The Old Pink House was awesome!!! The service was top notch and the food was good. The value of the food was spot on. I highly recommend this place if you are in town.
A must when in Savannah! Exceptional food and service.
Great food! Amazing service!
Our first time in Savannah and thoroughly enjoyed the Olde Pink House!
Our food was delicious, staff was incredible and our server, Katie, was top notch!
We booked a reservation well in advance. They sat us (2) at a 4 top. Perfect spot by a fireplace. Very happy with everything. But our waitress rushed us. Felt like she was in a hurry to get us out of there. Great food though. A bit crazy, busy, touristy.
When I visit Savannah it’s my go to restaurant !
Loved everything about our visit. Would definitely recommend.
Recently had a meal there and it was a very good dining experience. The food is always good and they are eager to serve and take care of you in every way.
Lovely atmosphere in a historical setting
Wonderful food and the ambiance in the entire old house was incredible. Feels like a historic experience not to be missed in Savannah.
We were very rushed. Our waitress stayed with pen and paper while we looked over drinks menu; wouldn’t give us a minute. She suggested the signature flounder dish but it was so dry and overcooked it was inedible. Definitely a tourist trap.
When will truly be amazed at the incredible and amazing layout of the restaurant. Being a historical house, there are a number of rooms which are set up for a very number of guests depending on the size of the room. It’s delightfully decorated in the. – – Exquisite, You’re very comfortable.
He will not be disappointed. Top-notch service and the food was amazing.
Too long a menu. Food salty. Seems like they are resting on their past. Too many excellent restaurants in Savannah to waste your time here.
Excellent food and service! Ordered the blackened oysters and pecan chicken. Green Chile Bloody Mary was so good too.
This my 3rd time, but my family members 1st! One of my family members diverted from the menu due to dietary restrictions. I highly recommend if your server has a recommendation, take them up on it! I think my family member would have enjoyed their recommendation much better than what he ended up with. Would go back in a heartbeat!
The Olde Pink House is one of those “if you go to city X, you must eat at Y” restaurants. There is invariably lots of good in that, otherwise the restaurant would not be so popular. The downside is that they don’t necessarily represent a great value or a peak dining experience. Our food was very good, in fact my sides of collards and Mac and Cheese were excellent. Crispy flounder a whole fried flounder in sweet and sour sauce. It was good, but I’ve had the dish at several Asian restaurants prepared just as well for somewhat less, albeit without the great sides. Wine by the glass was reasonably priced. Service was overly attentive. We were in the event room, which became a little noisy once filled.
The Olde Pink House is centrally located in downtown Savannah and is a gem. The wait staff is extremely knowledgeable and sold us on trying appetizers we hadn’t considered - and are pleased we had! It’s worth the price of the food as it is excellently made and the flavors are so well-balanced that one is experiencing a true culinary delight.
Everything we had was fantastic!! The crab beignets, shrimp spring rolls, chicken livers and the shrimp and grits!! Our server, Renee, was the best! Thanks for a great experience!
The fried pork chop, seafood pasta, and calamari were amazing. As were the cocktails, and atmosphere. Service was also phenomenal.
Our Server was deliciously pleasant and the food was beautifully crafted. A complete pleasure.
The house is beautiful. The singer was a nice touch. However, the pork was underdone, the bread was mediocre at beat and the rest of the food was just ok. Then they got our bill wrong. Maybe it was just a bad night but it’s unfortunate because I don’t think I’ll be willing to try it again. Disappointed.
My partner's fish special was perfectly prepared, but thought that $39 was a little excessive for the size of the dish. My food was appropriately priced, but it seemed a little under cooked for chicken. The service was extremely polite and friendly, but we still had to ask for refills on our table waters. The overall experience was just ok, so we'll try a different place next time.
Fantastic! Recommend to anyone!
Good was excellent. Service was suberb. Could not have asked for a better experience.
Wife and myself had late lunch several days ago while spending a few days in Savannah after Florida vacation. Had been 15 years since last ate at Pink House. Same exceptional food and service as last time. It’s pricey, yes, but you get what you pay for in exceptional service, interesting menu, and outstanding food preparation and taste. Go there at least once so you can check it off your bucket list.
The food was exceptionally good. Ordered the crab cake with fried green tomatoes and the perfectly seasoned crab cake was filled with chunks of crab meat. For the main course, I ordered the fried chicken. The portion was four pieces (drumstick, wing, breast, and thigh). It was the best fried chicken I’ve ever tasted. The thin skin was crispy but not too greasy. Even the breast meat was juicy and tender. It was also not too salty either. I highly recommend it. Service was excellent and attentive. They even allowed you to tour the entire restaurant after the meal. It’s Southern hospitality at its finest.
Typical tourist spot, we were out in a banquet style room, it was way to large and not much ambiance. Food was disappointing after being told how good it was. There are plenty of other interesting places to try. Crossed it off my list
The best meal we had in Savannah, what an experience!
Over heard other servers offering specials of the day, tours, cocktails in the tavern and Pink House history papers. We didn't get any of that. Had to ask if it was true to get it.
We love the Pink House. We go there every time we go to Savannah. I would definitely recommend it. We have never had anything other than an excellent meal.
Loved the food, history and atmosphere. A great place to dine.
Everything was great! Food, environment, service - perfect.
Outstanding service and food. Can’t say enough about this place.
Exceptionally meh. Every aspect of service was subpar, from the host stand to the dining room. In fairness it was the end of a holiday weekend; perhaps they were simply spent. Nevertheless, we left after appetizers and went to Husk instead (at which we enjoyed absolutely amazing service).
The staff was attentive and extremely informative about each dish on the menu. Our food was brilliantly served and cooked to our liking. Highly recommend!
We were first put into a very small room, which was way too quiet. We asked to move and we were seated in the tavern, which was perfect. However, after we sat down, met our lovely server(Sarah) then we were asked to move, so we moved. We got a new server and started the greetings all over again. Unfortunately the moving and the new server left us confused and our new server changed our experience.
We are New Englanders so we were very excited for the southern style foood!!!! The food was delicious! Actually, super delicious- everything was cooked perfectly!
Loved everything about the restaurant...until I got the bill. It was elegant in a way that is rare in today's cookie cutter environment. Food great. Service excellent. Even told maitre d Keenan We'd be back next year on our annual pilgrimage between Florida and home. But then discovered they charged me $18 for a Johnnie Walker Black Scotch. That's Black, not Blue. And that's outrageou, .when the entire bottle probably costs them maybe $30 bucks wholesale. I don't mind paying bigger bucks when the price is on the menu and I know in advance. But this is sneaky. The next day we went to another outstanding Savannah establishment and the same drink was $8.50 with a double costing $14.50 -- all listed in an extensive drink menu. I will not patronize a place that overcharges to that extent. Sorry.
