The Olde Pink House Restaurant
Bar Menu: Tuesday – Saturday 2:30-5:00
Dinner: Monday – Sunday 5:00-10:30
The Olde Pink House is always one of our favorites for special occasions.
We enjoyed our celebration of professional achievement as well as family accomplishment. We were lucky to get our reservation so late in the day. Excellent service and fabulous food with many creative options.
Awesome place with loads of history! Food was delish too!
Our favorite restaurant in Savannah, have been there many times, the waiter, Ben, was superb would go back again in a heart beat
We were looking forward to trying out The Pink house. We arrived to a lackluster welcome. Our sever was very sweet... our bread was dry... our appetizer of fries green tomatoes was great... but most of our food arrived very cold. This is an institution in Savannah and yet we were disappointed.
Great meal. Atmosphere is of the South. Our server, I believe his name was Rob, was super. He was a recent college graduate and proceeding on the graduate school. All in all an enjoyable evening.
Great food served by an attentive staff. Casually elegant, yet fun. Highly recommended.
This was our second trip to the Pink House in the last 3 years as we live 350 miles away. Regrettably, it wasn't worth the drive. My biggest regret is the roast duck was half excellent, half dry and stringy - tasted as if it came from 2 different ducks. Upon mentioning this to the mater die, who was helping our very average waitress (who had forgotten to serve us rolls) he comped the deserts. My wife did enjoy her meal very much so we can assume not all has been lost at this restaurant. Just remember, it has a very high reputation to live up to (including our previous trip) so any failing is a disappointment.
It's not cheap, but it's worth it. Had a wonderful evening here last night. Great food and great service. I also didn't know that there was a secret bar downstairs with live music, I may have to try that next time. Make sure you are hungry, but also make sure to save.
Do not hesitate. If you can get a reservation, GO!
The service was excellent. Kurt and Kelvin made us feel right at home and made any needed adjustments. The food was delicious.
We have frequented Ye Olde Pink House for decades while visiting Savannah. This visit as in years past neglected to disappoint. The charming home turned restaurant is a perfect setting for our annual anniversary celebration. If seafood is your fare, do not miss out on the raw oysters, and the flounder. The staff is attentive and pleasant. Our only regret was we missed dessert due to a previously scheduled engagement. Savannah is a must for those who seek southern charm, good food, and warm friendly locals. Thank you to the staff of the Pink House for always making our visit so special! RB III
Have been to the Olde Pink House several times before - it never fails to be excellent. Great decorations for the holidays. The fried lobster tails are so good and you get 2 of them plus mashed potatoes and a vege for less than $40.00 - a great bargain.
Not what it’s hyped up to be. A few people told me I HAD to eat there. Service was meh ... my friend’s order got messed up, but they didn’t charge her for it, which was nice. The food was just okay. Nothing special. I would say to skip it ... there are other great restaurants in Savannah. The house is quaint. Our waitress wasn’t wonderful ... a bit snippy.
We only visit once a year but every time we do - this amazing place never disappoints!!! I recommend everyone!
This place is great. The building is beautiful and historic, the food is superb, and the service is impeccable. Everyone there is friendly and accommodating. Great ambiance. A must do in Savannah.
My family and I were visiting Savannah and made a reservation for 9:30 on a Friday night. We arrived a little early to check out the basement and grab some drinks it was pretty busy right away a gentleman came up to us and asked us what we were drinking had them over in no time and also was able to push our reservation up. The atmosphere for dinner was perfect. Our waiter was very attentive and polite food was awesome! Our time here was very memorable and we will definitely come back!
Some restaurants that are in historic areas disappoint because the food is not as good as the ambience, but not this one.
Great, reasonably priced food. The wine list was very good and decently priced. Our server. Michael was attentive without being intrusive.
The place was cozy and delightful. The music downstairs was great.
Son passed his PE test
My husband and I visited Savannah for the first time and are so happy we chose The Olde Pink House Restaurant for dinner. The House itself is lovely, with beautiful rooms and an old-world southern charm. The braised beef and pork loin dishes were absolutely delicious. It was some of the best food we have had in Savannah and elsewhere. The service was fantastic. Everyone was incredibly hospitable and engaging. Highly recommend!
Beautiful setting, professional staff and good food.
Great food and service. Generous portions. Lots of hustle and bustle but lovely historic setting. I'd recommend and return.
Lovely experience!! Loved the staff, house and food.
Great place to eat. Our waitress was awesome. Very nice.
Food always great here! The staff was overly attentive which is a change from most restaurants! You can count on a great experience at The Olde Pink House!
This restaurant has been on my bucket list for sometime. We were greeted warmly upon our arrive and immediately seated in a cozy section of the restaurant. Our waiter, Luis was very hospitable in servicing us. I especially liked how he gave a special rundown of the menu... my mouth was
Appetizers: fried green tomatoes with crab cakes and BLT salad. They were original and good.
My hubby and i both ordered the fried lobster. My, my, my, two lobster tails on top of mash potatoes (with lumps); the one side we ordered was butter beans and collard greens.
Overall a fun experience. The house is historic and that history is interesting. The service was great. Everyone helpful and friendly. Personally I didn’t think the food was that good. I got the grouper special and the BLT salad. A little bit of a tourist trap but I think you just have to know that going in
This was our first visit to this amazing restaurant and it will certainly not be our last. The historical significance of this mansion is only surpassed by its outstanding menu. Fireplaces throughout the house make it a wonderful romantic spot for celebrating a special occasion. The expansive menu offers something for everyone. I had a hard time deciding what to order for dinner but ultimately selected the lobster tails, which were fabulous.
Interesting but had a factory feel (they employ close to 100 people!) Food was good but not exceptional.
Disappointing service and the food wasn’t nearly as good as past visits. Hopefully just a bad night. Never had that experience before so will give it another try.
Amazing food and people!!
We had a great meal at the Pink House. Our waiter was fantastic and wrote down recommendations for us while in Savannah at the end of the meal.
Ye Old Pink House has such a fabulous reputation. It was really disappointing, primarily due to poor service. Food came out not as ordered, with no contact from the waiter to ensure all was OK.
I did have the scallops; they were fabulous. But the veges were not what I ordered.
A friend ordered gluten free, and was given gluten in her salad. She also ordered a steak with a certain dressing; steak came out with nothing on it.
Not sure I would go back.
The matre de' was accommodating with our bill in the end.
I've been there with a friend of mine two days ago. I've tried the "Goat Cheese Stuffed Artichoke Fritters", The "Almond Encrusted Tilapia" and as dessert "the Praline basket". From the cocktail's list I ordered "The Olde Pink House "Pink Lady" and it was very tasty and refreshing. Great food and great service.
Outstanding atmosphere, especially the tavern with live music and a fireplace.
I definitely recommend this place.
Went for business dinner. Excellent food and service. Great atmosphere!
Went here based on previous reviews. We left feeling that it was overrated. My chicken was over cooked, my date’s meal way too salty. Atmosphere was stodgy and pretentious. Not a good value. The tavern looked like a much more fun place to go. Found other establishments with a much better vibe and value. Cannot recommend.
Service the best
Our waiter was fantastic and made our meal so fun. The food was very good comfort food and delicious.
When we have one image to go to in Savannah. This is the place. Who knew they'd have some of the best fried chicken out there? I know now. Everything about this place is top notch, but very fairly priced.
