The Olde Pink House Restaurant
Food was fabulous and wait staff was perfection. We had so much fun.
The Olde Pink House definitely lived up to the hype. Everything from start to finish was simply excellent. The service, the friendliness, the menu & food was 5 stars.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere very charming.
Server had excellent knowledge of wine and history of the mansion. This added to the overall experience. Seafood was superior to other restaurants we ate dinner at in Savannah.
Were not seated until about 40-45 minutes after our reservation time. Not happy with food quality.
Amazing as always. I can’t even begin to say enough about it.
Our server was excellent! She took time to share history, and was overall so sweet, she brought a special welcome and candle to our table when she discovered it was our first time In Savannah!
Excellent food, atmosphere, and service! We loved it and will go again next time we are in Savannah!
Excellent food. The staff was informative about the house and food. The pink lady drink is excellent, very smooth.
Was wonderful! Server, Treyvon, was excellent. Everyone’s meal was delicious. Wandering vocalist was so very talented and such a nice touch to our dining experience.
Wonderful meal and experience! Definitely recommend!!
The place was beautiful! They allow you to walk around view the beautiful building. There is a bar downstairs and a banquet area upstairs. The service was wonderful and the food was delicous.
We went as soon as it was opened so didn’t have certain selections on the menu, which affected two of the three of us. But the cheddar straws and pink ladies were a great start, and the food was good, but when you have your heart set on something and settle for a second pick it was a little disappointing. One of our top three favorite restaurants of our visit to Savannah and Tybee Island. Paige was wonderful and patient!
Food and hospitality was outstanding! Our server (Orlando ?) was great! Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive! We loved our visit!
Exactly what I wished for!! This stunning House entertained the period of Savannah dining. The Olde Pink House charmed the life out of my party and I.
We will return!!!
Perhaps, for a wedding!
We went to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. Staff at the door were polite. We were seated immediately. Our server was lukewarm, professional but not very friendly. I ordered the duck. My husband had the grouper stuffed with crab. My duck was dry and overcooked. The vegetable crepe was so salty that I couldn't eat it. The grouper was nothing special. I had heard five star reviews of the food, so I am not sure what happenned. I will not go there again. They did, however, remove the duck from my bill. The bill, with tip, was still sixty bucks. We also has 2 pieces of fried green tomato and two waters, making the small piece of grouper at least 40 bucks! I was shocked. Not a good 30th Anniversary dinner experience at all!
The food was delicious; from the biscuits, corn bread muffins, and salad to the fried chicken and fried shrimp. I felt the service could have been a tad better, just a little more attentive. When our meal was winding down and we moved on to dessert, I don't recall our server checking with us to ask if we needed anything else, which we did. An item was missing from my dessert and I didn't get the opportunity to ask about it before our dessert was finished.
This beautiful restaurant is perfect for an event, date night or just any night you want good food. The waitstaff was wonderful, very attentive but not overbearing. The food was absolutely delicious! We had the fried green tomatoes starter and I had the pecan encrusted chicken with a blackberry bourbon sauce. It was heavenly!
Had dinner in the basement and loved it!
The restaurant was not very busy when we arrived. We had reservations for 1900 but was seated immediately on arrival at 1845. The hostesses are so very friendly (and beautiful).
Our server was great. He was knowledgeable about the whole menu and made suggestions when we asked.
Food service was prompt. All of the food was hot and delicious.
Cocktails tasty :)
My husband ordered the pork shank with macaroni & cheese and collards. OMG! Delicious! The meat was fall of the bone, fork tender, collards were seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. It is an art to cook greens to just right and these were. I don’t even like collards and I wanted more.
I ordered grilled pork tenderloin with sweet potato/ bourbon pecan glaze and collards. As I said, I don’t like collards but if I could have them cooked like this every day, I eat collards every day. The sweet potato was tasty. There was none of that buttered, Sugar/cinnamon syrupy goodness. This was sweet potato goodness accentuated with a to die for bourbon pecan glaze. The tenderloin was grilled to medium and delightful.
we could have easily ordered an entree and split it. There’s that much food, btw.
The restaurant is immaculately clean. All servers and staff are neatly dressed with not a hair out of place. All I know about the kitchen is that heaven must be in there because that’s exactly what comes out.
The total bill came to $90.xx for an appetizer, two entrees, and 2 cocktails. So very worth it! It is our 30th anniversary:)
My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary. Our waiter was Kevin and he made our experience unforgettable. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was amazing and filling and the service from start to finish was excellent. I’d recommend it to everyone who comes to Savannah!
The Olde Pink House was a wonderful place to dine. The ambiance is charming, the wait staff was attentive and cheerful. The food was outstanding. We would definitely go again!
Our evening was everything we expected it to be. Carolyn was our server and she was amazing. Her recommendations were spot on and she was very informative about the history of the restaurant. It is well worth a visit for some great food, outstanding service at every level and a bit of a history lesson t top it all off.
The food is always delicious, but the service is even better. Carolyn was a great server and added wonderful stories and smiles to our dinner. If you need a suggestion of what to order, the Shrimp and Gritcake with Collards is the perfect plate of food!
The building is beautiful and full of history. Staff was gracious and attentive. My husband loved his duck and said it was the best he has ever had. I had the scallop appetizer and it was very good. The perfect amount as well. My entree was the fried Lobster tails. It was good and the dipping sauce was great! The tails themselves were a little bland. I've never had lobster fried before, but I think I prefer it broiled with butter for dipping. We did not have dessert. Overall, it was a very good meal and I would definitely go there again for a special occasion as it is quite pricey,.
What a great evening at The Olde Pink House Restaurant. My husband and I enjoyed cocktails in the lower bar (the Jalapeño Margarita is amazing). Moving upstairs into the “house” dining room was perfect. Our server (can’t remember his name but he was Italian) took great care of us. We started with a fine Italian wine and cheese board, then I had the Grouper special and my husband had the Pork Shoulder. Will remember this evening as one of the most special meals and would highly recommend.
Wonderful food and great staff!
Everything was amazing! Ariel, our server, was the best and she also gave us a tour of the estate at the end of our dinner. 5 stars all the way!
The location was magical. The hosts and waiters will give minnie tours of the house upon request. The history of the house is amazing and fun and sets the stage for a wonderful Savannah experience. The entire menu is incredible and very hard to choose which delectable to order. We can't recommend the food enough--it was outstanding. Service was attentive and friendly. It was by far the best restaurant on our latest Savannah trip.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience at Olde Pink House! The atmosphere was really nice, the people were so friendly and made us feel that they were really glad we were there! Our server was excellent (I think his name was Edwardo??) who really helped "pace our dinner" and made it a wonderful experience. Also there was a young lady (Kristin??) who would also come by and ask how things were and made sure that we were happy! The food was very good and I would highly recommend this place!
A must visit! It was our third time there, always delicious, with attentive staff. The basement bar is fun. We are now locals, but first visited on vacation....love it!
Service and food was excellent. The restaurant, elegant with old southern charm. If you have a special occasion ask to be seated in the vault room. Intimate setting for two in the wine cellar vault. Very cool. Be sure to check out the Tavern in the basement for a cocktail.
Still one of the best restaurants In Savannah. Like the atmosphere and the nice setting. Menu didn’t change much over the years. Go after dinner downstairs in the tavern
Our waiter, Michael, was a gem. He gave us great recommendations and paced our meal beautifully. We will definitely return.
Celebrated my 40th Birthday and it was amazing! The staff was wonderful and the food was outstanding!!! Definitely will come back if we get back to Savannah!
The restaurant is beautifully decorated, wait staff very attentive and food was delicious!
The food was amazing, the service was amazing, the experience overall was amazing! It was a excellent choice to spend our first anniversary!
Delicious and the service was excellent. Highlight of the trip! Will always recommend.
I had read so many good reviews I was looking forward to this dining experience in a beautiful house. I was disappointed. The food was fine. I had the stuffed grouper and my boyfriend had the bone in ribeye. But - it was not the experience I had hoped for. Service was adequate but not outstanding. Our entrees arrived quickly - too quickly. Pretty sure everything was prepared earlier then heated up to serve. Very evident with the bean medley served with my grouper. Green beans were fine but sugar snap peas chewy and limp. I think this place is way more hype than a southern dining experience.
