Had not been here for years and decided to revisit. We all had amazing dinners and the service was great. They were hot on masks and cleaning which really impressed us at this time. Will definitely be coming back and highly recommend 👌
Had a lovely Sunday lunch with my partner in the “dog house” with our dog. Love that the pub allows dogs
Very welcoming atmosphere
We had a very enjoyable time at The Olde Dog. On arrival we were moved to a quiet table as one group was quite loud. The food was delicious, well presented and promptly served. Both servers were very polite and informative. A good choice on a cold, wintry evening.
Good wholesome food and plenty of it. Great service. Would highly recommend.
Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The food was good and service excellent

Food was good and hot, serve was very good and restriction adhered to
Very nice lunch midweek, fresh food and good service!
A good pub menu with plenty of options. A good place to chat as it is not noisy. Good Covid precautions.
Limited menu, but food was good wholesome fare, well cooked.
Lovely restaurant with great service and friendly staff
Outstanding as normal
Easy to book. Friendly staff. Great roast dinner and welcoming atmosphere despite the c-19 restrictions.
Good local pub serving high quality food. Staff very helpful and friendly. Social distancing and Covid regulations taken observed so felt safe, secure and comfortable.
Fabulous food even with a reduced menu
Enjoyed the meal very tasty but didn't realise that it would be so big and ordered a starter but it was lovel would definitely go again, very quick service, couldn't eat a sweet though as we were so full up. Would definitely recommend it
Lovely old pub, nice staff. Lovely food. Plenty of parking too.
Lovely roast lunch with family. Sensible Covid restrictions but friendly service and tasty food
Wonderful meal - really enjoyed it and will be back again soon.
Food was all freshly made and tasty, nicely presented and good size portions - unfortunately there was a mix up with our order which meant one of our party got the wrong main but this was immediately put right and we were given a round of drinks as compensation. Will definitely be returning.
Nice meal in difficult times with safe social distancing.
Service was excellent. We had our puppy with us so eat in the kennel end of the bar. Felt very safe, plenty of space between tables. Food was also excellent
The food was very good quality and cooked well. There was a good choice of beer, wine and spirits. Good atmosphere and very courteous service.
We had a fantastic Sunday roast, very fresh the beef just melt in the mouth😋the staff and service were excellent would definitely recommend
Great menu fantastic food always helpful and so friendly. My favorite restaurant
Food and service was really good. Slightly spoiled however by the horrid smell of drains which appeared towards the end of our meal, which we overheard others complaining about. I would retun, but insist on sitting in another part of the pub.
Great atmosphere cute county pub
The food was very good, well presented, hot and great taste.
Highly recommended
Lovely Olde Worlde pub with gorgeous gastro cuisine
Dined at the pub for an early lunch, Seated outside in glorious weather.
The service was as excellent as ever, very friendly and efficient. The food was of exceedingly good quality including a number of local dishes.
The drinks were good, the local real ale being beyond excellent.
Nice pub grub
Menu not huge but seemed to cover most tastes
Great atmosphere food okay waitresses were run off there feet so was a little wait for service good manners and polite
Lovely ambience for adults and little ones and food great and location/setting. Only gripe is staff don't clear away at fast speed so this could b improved with better management of staff, plus knives and forkes not bought out with meal so sit with meal whilst waitress slowly returns with cutlery!!
Really enjoyed our meal at the olde dog, food and service excellent
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Old Dog Inn. Food was excellent, would definitely visit again.
The sun was shining, the food was great, as was the live Band that played outside all afternoon-the service was well organised and efficient- what more could we want? Fantastic afternoon
So glad to be back at the Olde Dog inn after my last meal at this pub was on my birthday (4th March) just before lockdown. We always enjoyed the amazing homemade foods, we had lovely turkey, ham & leek pie with yummy mash potatoes & veg. We will be back again soon.
