Perfect as always! Good food, good service, good company! Can't ask for anything more!
Last minute craving for oysters (and lobster rolls) and it was well past happy hour. The drinks were fabulous, the service friendly and the atmosphere was real chill. I can’t wait to go back for brunch and happy hour (buck a shuck)!!!
The host, (a tall gentleman with classes) was so very nice and our server janelle was excellent. I come here every so often for hh after work and it’s always so nice!
Great food and service! Andrew makes the best drinks!
The buffalo cauliflower was the highlight of our meal. The crabcake was tasteless, the asparagus salad lacked asparagus . I was extremely disappointed with the experience. I will never be back. Wow! What a disappointment.
Pricey but very good.
Always enjoy my happy hour. The staffs are friendly and amazing. Raw oysters are my favorite and always have a great time there.
The corn chowder was thick and more potatoes than anything. We asked for bread and it took more than 20 minutes to get it. The bread was stale. The risotto was boring, very little evidence of vegetables as advertised. The tuna portion was so very tiny.
The waitress was distracted.
All in all a bad meal in a city with so many other choices. We won’t be back.
Anthony, Steve and the host were all very friendly, knowledgeable and made the experience fun.
The menu is very limited and sadly you can tell they have had to cut offerings post covid. Food tasted like it was reheated in a microwave.
Happy Hour at the Olde Bar makes me happy! Just order a few things from the Happy Hour Menu, for everyone to share, with a Caesar Salad and Fish House Punch (YUMMM)!
Staff was very knowledgeable and service oriented. They made every attempt to provide exceptional customer service.
Everything was good, not exceptional but very good.
If you can eat in the bar as the ambience is really great. Food was very good as well as the craft cocktails. We will definitely be going back and bringing our kids. My wife's father was a waiter at the old Bookbinders back in the day.
Waitress not very attentive even though restaurant was almost empty. Misunderstanding about side Caesar salad caused her to disappear and become passive aggressive. Besides that, the food was average at best.
Olde Bar was great as always. Food and Service were great.
Love this restaurant for lunch. Shrimp cocktail is delicious, east and west cost oysters are nice.
Great food and service-
We love this place!! We have been several times over the last year. I feel safe and valued as a customer. We will be back again
Food & Service was amazing! Highly recommend and definitely going back.
Entrees were very disappointing. I ordered crab stuffed lobster, and there was almost no lobster and no crab could be tasted in the breadcrumb mixture. My son ordered steak frites, and he was give 4 very small pieces of steak and a plate full of fries. The quality and size of the entrees were Not worth the price.
Great place with excellent food and service!
Wonderful as always
Air conditioning broke. Music too loud , at6pm out of dinner dishes ,
The team here went out of their way to accommodate us with younger kids (they don’t have a specific kids menu but improvised). We were pressed for time and they really made things work for us. On top of that, the food was delicious!
I had very Fibrous pieces of asparagus ends in my pasta dish it was very unpleasant.
Very good food and ambiance, but you're better off sitting at the bar than taking your chances with the spotty & inattentive table service.
Happy hour oysters were awesome and the drinks delicious! Service was excellent!
Great happy hour and price!
The Happy Hour menu is superb with Buck -a - shuck oysters topping the list. Great cocktails, crab fingers and burgers add to the list
Food was not at all worth what we paid, we were there for an hour before even our appetizers arrived - severely under staff yet did not limit the number of tables available. Will never come back again
I think they are struggling. Service was slow, food was just ok, over priced and cold. Table next to us sent several things back, 2other tables complained about wait. We wanted outdoor dining, but have experienced it better at other restaurants (ie more ambiance than a table and chair in the street with a chain link barricade). Would not go back.
Took 2 hours to get our main course. restaurant seemed Understaffed and the waiters overworked. Small portions for cost of entrees.
Not the same as the old “Bookbinders”, but okay.
One of the best happy hours in town especially on the weekends!
Nice place with good atmosphere and food. Neat that it is in the old Bookbinders restaurant. Great service.
Service and atmosphere is always great here, even during happy hour!
Ignored by staff when entering, had to flag one down to show reservation to them.
Beer glass so full waiter spilled it on the table and just put the glass down in the middle of the puddle. No attempt to clean it. Wine was obviously spoiled to both nose and palate. Brought us another from a different bottle and it was OK.
$35 for the clam bake special. Expected a meal, not an appetizer. Maybe 12 medium clams, 1/2 ear of corn, 6 thumbnail size pieces of chorizo, 3 small shrimp and 2 fingerling by potatoes, halved.
The fries were sad as well, looked like mostly small pieces from the bottom of the fry basket.
Really? $100 for the two of us and we left hungry and feeling taken.
Nice place but NOT worth the price!
