As a first time guest, I was impressed with atmosphere and ambiance. It was a Monday night so there was literally us and about three other tables being served. Food was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing.

We arrived on time, our table was not ready for about 30 minutes. It appears, that reservations at this restaurant are not very necessary. We sat at the bar for about 30 minutes there was no one who could offer us even a glass of water while we were waiting, it was a pretty strange experience. Food was good, however not every member of the waiting staff was listening to our requests.

Thanks for asking for a review!

We have been out of the country for nearly two years. Some things in Dallas has changed, as is expected. What was NOT expected was the Old Warsaw. The previous Old Warsaw was the one of the last remaining grande dames of restaurant establishments to go. Our experience with the 'new' Old Warsaw shows to be a cold and with an 'antiseptic' feeling. Shelly who seated us seemed pleasant, but gone was the friendliness and warmth we used to receive when we dined at the original Old Warsaw. We were always greeted with a warm and friendly smile from Syed, who we assumed was the Maitre'd. The dining areas are now compartmentalized, and gone are the large dining areas with booths to sit. The fireplace was not lit, which may have added more charm, but sits like a 'black-hole'. For the amount of money we spent it would have been better if we had gone to The Capital Grille across the street. The old adage for the management and owners of Old Warsaw: 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it' could apply. Wish them luck, but we won't be many other established restaurants that remember what customer service, smiles and friendly service is all about. Times change, but in this case it wasn't for the better at Old Warsaw.
P.S. Where is the violinist? That's what we mean when we say 'old world charm'.

What an amazing anniversary dinner! We love the food at Old Warsaw and this Saturday night, the food did not disappoint! I had a wonderful Beef Wellington, Lobster Bisque and a Raspberry Soufflé for dessert! Others at our table had steaks, a Caesar salad, brie soup, key lime pie, chocolate cake. I have to mention that the warm sour dough rolls with garlic butter are awesome - as long as you make sure you don't eat too many as to ruin your appetite!!!! They have fun fixed price menus and you can easily find a yummy combination - or you can always order a la carte!

A perfect place for a special occasion or date night!!!

It was just a lot dull for us. We are early 60’s and the energy was way lower than we like....Almost nursing home atmosphere.

We have gone there periodically for years (got engaged there, first anniversary, 5th anniversary, 10th anniversary, some Valentines days, etc) but between the last time we were there and this visit, they have really gone downhill. Very poor (slow) service, food was only fair, desert was dried out. The layout has been rearranged such that we were effectively sitting in the bar. As non-drinkers, that was a problem for me and my wife.

It seems likely some good reviews on Open Table and Trip Advisor are paid advertising.

We really wanted to like this old flagship, for nostalgia if nothing else.

From the moment the valet opened the door of our vehicle this place was just off. He was dressed like a farmhand; his attempt at humor was presumptuous and rude.

We asked the receptionist to sit at the bar but she took us to a table.

We ordered a bottle of wine and sent to back unopened because the vintage didn’t match the wine list.

Ordered a different bottle and it too was younger than the wine list claimed.

The food was ok except for my steak. It was NOT “Prime” not aged and had not been cooked on a hot grill. The outside had no char, and no chefs butter. When we put table butter on it, the steak was barely warm enough to melt it.

Our after dinner coffee had been in the pot since the last ice age.

Most of the service staff seemed poorly trained but they mostly tried and were polite.

The decor is not classic - it’s dated and has no coherent theme.

We are not nostalgic any more and won’t be back.

Great place with an older traditional feel. Piano music was very nice. Service was excellent as was the food.
