We were waited on promptly, but the kitchen was short on help. It took an hour to get our dinner. Food was excellent. Worth the wait, but my butt gets sore, sitting too long.

Our server was wonderful and our meal was delicious. We always have a lovely time at the OVI. We especially love the ambiance in winter with the cozy fire going. A special spot in the heart of OGT.

The lobster roll was skimpy, the prime rib only lukewarm but everything tasted very good and our waitress was excellent. Nice atmosphere.

Old and outdated. We actually didn’t stay past the appetizers. The drinks were like drinking cough syrup. The crab cake appetizer were 3 small mushy things. Service is slow but probably understaffed . Wish we read the reviews before we went. Didn’t even attempt dinner as we looked up reviews over apps. Left and went to The Front Porch which is always amazing !

The prime rib was tough, as was the stuffed haddock.

Definitely didn't enjoy this dinner. Very very small lobster roll, with cold lobster meat and no mayo or hot butter. Six inch roll was toasted but not buttered. Soggy and luke warm french fries. Slow service.
Blueberry pie was microwaved!!!! Pie was thickened with so much cornstarch that you couldn't even taste the blueberries plus it was just mushy from being microwaved.

This is one of my favorite restaurants for a nice dinner when we’re in town. The food is always fantastic and the service is great!

I liked the experience and the food, what I didn't like the rude man that brought us to a table.

Every hot entree came to the table iced cold!!! My son and I sent our back but we’re charged full price for all. OuR ENTREES TOOK 1 hour 45 minutes!!!

OVI Never disappoints! Quality of food and service is excellent whether in season or not. Waitstaff attention to detail is fabulous. Price for quality and quantity appropriate. When COVID is ‘over’ we’re looking to eat at the bar.

The menu sounded lovely but the food was just okay, nothing fancy. Prime rib was good. Waitress seemed rushed and therefore didn’t have a very personable experience. Probably would not go back.

I had planned a trip to Maine and wasn't sure who would be open on Thanksgiving. The OpenTable app showed me this place and after reviewing the menu and reviews, I thought that it looked pretty good plus they had openings. I was not disappointed--the service was friendly and helpful, the food outstanding and a good value. It's not a pretentious place, very homey and welcoming. I would come back any time.

I went for my birthday with my boyfriend. I choose this place because I craved escargot- they did not disappoint.
Marcia was attentive and took lovely care of us.

The Old Village Inn is fabulous. The food was great, the service was fantastic and Marcia and Dean really know how to take care of you. A trip to Ogunquit would not be complete without a visit to OVI.

Whenever we go to see my son and his family we make it a point to dine at the Old Village Inn. We love the old New England styled ambiance and friendly and welcoming staff. The food is always very good and reasonably priced.

Second time eating at this restaurant. The first time was very good but this time it was great. The food was excellent and the wait staff very professional. Can’t wait to go back again. The dining room we were in was quiet well appointed and perfect for a relaxing dinner after enjoying the day in Olgunquit.

We had the best time- old school cozy building, especially the original rooms. Great service, friends folks, delicious food, reasonably priced wine. Such a good time. Don't miss the escargot and Filet.
