The Old Village Inn
As usual another fabulous meal at one of our favorite places to dine!
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal so much, we went back the second night and it was equally wonderful!
This was my 2nd time eating at the “Old Village Inn”. Menu is outstanding and the food is very good. Our waiter was great, he knew the menu and he could tell you what other were having and if they enjoyed it. Not pushy at all.
Oustanding from start to finish. Highly recommend.
Excellent as always. Service and food outstanding!
Four of us ate here on December 30th. The ambiance, meal and service was outstanding. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends.
I was the only one out of the group (4) that was disappointed with my meal. I had the mushroom ravioli, and it was fair, but the sauce seemed glutinous, and not enough. The bacon wrapped scallops were over cooked. But the rest of the group all had delicious meals. The stuffed haddock, duck, and pork tenderloin made everyone happy. My husband loved his escargot.
Can’t say enough great things about this place. Everytime I’m in town I go there sometimes every night
Great service, and fantastic fare.
A great value, an we were treated like family. Outstanding expetience!
Wonderful meal and service as usual! My favorite dinner restaurant in the Ogunquit area.
Warm and cozy after the fireworks during Christmas by the Sea 2018!
As usual the OVI does not disappoint. Our meals and our waiter were outstanding. Jim was personable and attentive without being bothersome.
We had prime rib for dinner. It was delicious. We shared the pumpkin cheese cake which was also first rate. Walker was our waiter. He was kind and efficient. Our meals arrived warm and promptly. The atmosphere was very warm and homey. We will be back! Thanks to all for a great dining experience in Ogunquit.
Horrible food. We ordered the haddock and is was dry and mushy. Baked potatoes tasted like the foil it was wrapped in. We have never had s meal like this from this venu. One has to wonder what they changed. I would not recommend it.
Great cozy place. Food is always good and the drinks are great.
We went there for Thanksgiving dinner. I was delighted to find that they had a traditional Thanksgiving dinner option - turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, squash, and beans - all done perfectly and just-right proportions. They also had an inviting and varied menu for lots of other choices. Very cozy environment, great service! Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
wonderful place - one of our favorites when we come to Ogunquit. Especially enjoy Old Village Inn when it's off season as it's very cozy, warm & inviting !!
Fast service friendly atmosphere
We were celebrating our 40th Anniversary! I got the prime rib Cooked to perfection! My husband got the stuffed seafood haddock which was excellent also. I took a pic of my prime rib which I like medium rare.
We ate in the back dining room which was very nice. Did not see the other dining rooms so I can't speak for them. Very enjoyable!
Have eaten here several times and every time has been excellent. Great ambience, service and food. Never a bad experience. Look forward to the next visit.
Rack of lamb was very poor quality; tough and not cooked per customer request. Service was okay. Ambience was nice, however, seating was very tight. No room to get up without disrupting diners next to you.
Great place to have a delicious dinner. Great service and tables not too close allowing some privacy.
First time but not the last time I’ll be enjoying a meal there. Host Bill greeted us warmly and had our party of six seated promptly. All of us enjoyed our meals and the service was excellent throughout our stay! Highly recommend!
OVI is terrific! The food is excellent, staff in the lounge & restaurant are great and the wine list is very good and very, very reasonably priced. The menu has a great selection, well prepared (the 4 of us our foodies) and also reasonably priced. Highly recommend this restaurant.
We were headed to a show at the playhouse and they are wonderful about staying on top of things. A winner!
We are locals and this was our first time to The Old Village Inn. We were very please that we tried it. Great food, great service and warm atmosphere especially for the fall/winter months. Only drawback was that when we walked in my husband conked his head on the VERY low beams. Wish they would've warned us...we will know next time to watch out for those beams!!!
What a neat place to go. The food was excellent. Our server did a great job. The atmosphere was very unique. I would definitely go back.
Fantastic Dining Experience!
Food, Atmosphere and the Staff made for a Great Evening! We will be back for sure.
Very disappointed with the quality of my prime rib! Meat was very tough! Also very disappointed with the slow service!
Excellent dining experience anytime! Great food and service!!!
We enjoyed our dinner - the food was delicious and the service was amazing. This was our first visit and I had mentioned on my reservation that it was our anniversary - not mentioned at all - 46 years! I was a little disappointed. Also wondered why we were seated in an interior corner when there were several table at the window that were open when we arrived. Overall, it was a good experiences.
Natasha our server was wonderful. Food was spot on, delious
Great service, great drinks, great desserts!
Great food, impeccable service, nice background (live) music, wonderful owners / staff and friendly patrons.....perfect evening.
Un restaurant classique d’Ogunquit, les plats sont bien cuisinés. L’ambiance vieillotte mais c’est partout pareil. Vous devez y aller au moins une fois. Qualité prix très bien
We have been going to the Ole Village Inn both pre and post Theatre shows for six years now.Food gets better every time.Sunday evening was the best yet!!!
It was OK, service was decent, people are friendly but food was nothing to write home about.
My wife and I went there on a friend's recommendation; the food was very reasonable and delicious. The menu offered choices that would appeal to all. The Old Village Inn made our brief vacation from Boston complete
French onion soup and bread were great. The prime rib was not.
I’m sorry to say that my meal was very disappointing. I had the prime rib & it was the toughest piece of beef I’ve ever had. My wife’s meal was good. I’be been to The Village Innbefore & it was great. Being a resident of Ogunquit I’m hoping that this was just a bad night as I’d like to go back.
We waited 15 minutes for our after dinner coffees to arrive. When the waiter put them down on the table he apologized saying he brewed a fresh pot, well the coffee was stone cold and we waited another 10 minutes for the waiter to return. Then we had wait another 10 minutes while he adjusted our bill!
