Good food great value! Friendly stag and old time charm makes this place a neighborhood favorite!
Great food, beautiful place, amazing service!
From the start to the finish everything was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant .
Very nice, romantic atmosphere! Wouldn't hesitate going back there again!
We were in OGT for the holiday weekend. We always make it a point to have dinner here whenever we’re in town. We’ve never been disappointed!!
Go here every time we are in town. Consistently a great experience all around. Great staff, food, ambience, and prices are very reasonable.
Our meal was very good. The Inn is vey quaint but some of the furniture could use refurbishing. The cushions on some chairs were stained. The staff is friendly and attentive.
Great food and service. Hope to come back when in town again.
The wait staff were great! The only complaint would be that the portion sizes of the swordfish, and 2 scallop dinners were a little small. One person remarked that they didn’t realize swordfish came that thin. 😬
The lobster special - in a light park sauce on a angel hair pasta was excellent as was the chicken pícatta. Service was very smooth and attentive.
It has been 2 years since we’ve been here. Of course we always make reservations here. The food is great. It’s rather an old fashion house with tables in every room. Quaint! They usually have prime rib but didn’t this time. We were forced to select other entries steak tips and chicken Marsala. All were very good. This restaurant is one of our faves.
We had been to Old Village restaurant many times over the years and found the food good. This visit was a disappointment. I had chicken piccata which had caper juice as the primary flavor, not very appetizing. My husband had duck which he described as seeming to have been sitting in water, the texture was mushy. May have been an off night but will think twice before returning.
Food, service and overall atmosphere were fantastic - look forward to returning soon and often!!!
Great dinner, in a private room, we had the escargot (excellent), prime rib (cooked perfectly), stuffed mushrooms (very favorable) and hadick (very fresh). The blueberry pie for desert was a perfect finish. Loved the atmosphere of the old inn, and the service was over the top. Very friendly establisment, will return next time we're in Maine. Highly recommend it.
The food was delicious. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable .
She offered excellent recommendations for both food and wine.
We’ll definitely return.
For the price I would expect more food on my plate. $37 for the lobster special and I could count the number of strands of angel hair pasta, the same for chicken marsala. Though the flavors were fine ‘why so stingy with the pasta’?
A very exciting menu with something for everyone. Duck was cooked to perfection. Escargot was spot on. Stuffed scallops were exquisite. Highly recommend this restaurant.
We had a wonderful dinner ! The sautéed scallops in Pernod sauce over angel hair pasta was outstanding! My husband had the Pork Schnitzel which was perfectly done. The martinis are great! The service was great. Kudos to the chef!
The Old Village Inn is still great after all these years!
Martini's are excellent! Food delicious! Sat at a window table and watched the foot traffic! We love OVI !
Good food and service at a reasonable price.
Food was ok not the worst but just subpar. The manager was not very friendly and made us feel like we weren't good enough to eat in his establishment
Food and service couldn’t have been any better. We had the prime rib and lamb chops, which were perfect.
We love OVI for all of our dining celebrations!
My husband and I celebrated our wedding rehearsal dinner there, 44 years ago this year - 2021.
They never disappoint!
We stayed at the inn and dined, had drinks every evening after our excursions. So quaint and lovely. If you’re looking for modern, the town is not that. If you’re looking for a true step into New England and a cozy place with laughs and friends (you’ll know or meet), this is your spot! I highly recommend to stay or to dine, both if your lucky enough! A very close walking proximity yo Perkins Cove, Marginal Way and many other delightful New England treasures. For us, it was a perfect getaway!!
Nice restaurant with local charm. Great food. Great service. Very busy coastal town. Thank goodness they helped us by phone to find parking.
Chicken Marsala very bland. Perhaps no Marsala wine? No prime rib or popovers😕
Always good food at a great price. Who else has caymus us on the wine list?
Jim the waiter is friendly and remembers his customers year after year.
One word --> EXCELLENT! ... the best restaurant in Ogunquit! ... great food selection, good food & appetizers, and service! ... our go-to restaurant ... one of the best servers is Walker! ... but all are good! ... make your reservations weeks out, they go fast!
the lovely lady answered the phone and commented on my birthday celebration.. Walker our waiter was cute and attentive.. My lobster bisque was awesome and the Pork Shnitzel was delicious... love coming here.. especially when I want to pamper myself.. so happy I can always get a reservation... thank you all ... it was awesome..
We've been coming here for years. Love having great conversations with locals and enjoy the food very much.
... after 3+ years of vacationing in Ogunquit with my mother, The Old Village Inn is my go-to restaurant! ... caring friendly staff, great service, and delicious food and desserts! ... and if you're lucky enough, Walker will be your server ... but others are good too.
Tables nicely distanced, very low noise level, food excellent, as always! We enjoyed our dinner there!
Food was good. We got the summer salad with fresh lobster and the lamb dish. Romantic setting. Would go back in the future
Thank you for accommodating my gluten intolerance with the rack of lamb, it was scrumptious. My husband had the duck which he raved about. The highlight was listening to Curt Bessette and Jenn Kurtz sing some great tunes. What a treat!
We had a reservation for 715 but did not sit down at our table until after 8 o’clock and did not receive any food at all until 8:45. Our food arrived and looked like it had been reheated or sitting in pots all day
Excellent choice of entrees, great service, reasonable prices. Highly recommend!
Food was excellent. Very relaxing atmosphere. Bit pricey but that’s Ogunquit!
