The Odeon offers reservations for indoor and outdoor dining for parties up to 6 guests. Walk-Ins are welcome. The Outdoor Cafe is complete with rain-proof awnings, umbrellas, and heaters.

Due to demand, we are unable to hold your reservation past the time it has been booked. If you cannot be present at the time of your reservation, we will offer the table to waiting guests. If you are running late or wish to cancel, please call us at 212-233-0507. The Odeon takes the last “Open Table” Reservation at 10 pm on Sunday and Monday and 10:30 pm Wednesday through Saturday. Should you like to visit the restaurant after that time, please call 212-233-0507 to check availability. We allow 1 hour 45 minutes dining time for parties up to 2 guests and 2 hours for parties of 3-6. guests.

The Odeon is a NYC institution that never disappoints. after all these years, it still has a hip only-in-New York kind of energy that makes every meal there a great one. The food is great, the service professional without being snooty, and the over all buzz is intoxicating. Whether it's your first time in NYC or you live down the street, the Odeon is that NYC place that you can call your own.

I have been visiting since the 1980s from London on a regular basis, and the Odeon has a very special place in my heart. Yes, the food is consistently good, but it is so much more than that. Memories of friends, laughter and significant occasions spanning the decades, underpinned by the reassuring, soft murmur of the subway below. An icon. Please never stop delivering the magic, and please don't change. You are a focal point for so much history and happiness.

Great to be back at The Odeon after many years. I frequented The Odeon regularly in the 1980's and 1990's. Same great food and service. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. It was a first time visit for my out-of-town friends accompanying us for lunch and it is now a must stop on their next trip to NYC.

Very nice waitstaff. Good food. Good cocktails. Energetic environment. Very simple decor cafeteria style. We ate there pre-theater and had plenty of time to dine. I would recommend eating here if you’re going to be in the neighborhood.

The Odeon is one of our families favorite dining places. As expected and delivered, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. My son had the outstanding tuna burger and I had the special rock shrimp sandwich. We started with and shared the country frisee salad which was outstanding. I do wish they would bring back the wonderful chicken salad sandwich as a regular offering.

I was one of The Odeon’s first customers 43 years ago when I lived in the Financial District (before anyone else lived there, lol) and to this day, after many moves around the City, is still my favorite NYC restaurant. It is EVERYTHING a New Yorker needs and wants…..pure NYC perfection. The menu and the food is perfect. It still has the neighborhood feel it had back in 1980 too! So glad nothing has changed! In a City that changes by the minute, it is comforting to know this classic remains. I hope it remains for many, many decades to come!

Seated quickly and courteously. Once seated we were greeted promptly. Service was nice albeit a bit robotic and impersonal. Enjoyable overall but can’t help but feel the place has become more corporate and it lacks the warmth and authenticity that it had in years past. I blame this less on the servers themselves than I do on coaching and leadership within the restaurant. Always a staple though.

I ordered a $20 gem salad for lunch which arrived with a 5-6 leaves of lettuce and 4 or 5 beans. Tiny portion, disappointing for the cost. And no bread was offered.
