   Great meal @ the Obstinate Daughter. Nice local regional food selections, as well as a really appetizing pizza menu that we had to resist dipping into, as we wanted a lighter and varied lunch. Great, well-branded look of the environment (& Staff too) - Except for a momentary bit of confusion on access to a booth for 2 (which we did get, as the place wasn't packed) very good vibes and excellent food. Will be back next time we're on Sullivan's Island.

   What a treat! Our waiter suggested we pick an itme from each section & do share plates & that was the way to enjoy this great spot. Started with 1 doz raw oysters- 3 different sauces. Brussel sprout dish was amazing! This is the way to eat your veggies. Pasta delicious and so was the pizza. same room for dessert. Loved the atmosphere & service wa top notch. Full bar & nice wine/beer choices. Top recommendation. Don;t go without reservations.

   Charming space on beautiful Sullivan's Island. Worth the short ride out of Charleston. Small plates are large enough for a dinner but the house-made gnocchi and pizzas as entrees are irresistible! Staff is outstanding -- knowledgable and so enthusiastic! Loved everything about it!

   Obstinate Daughter is our favorite restaurant, for the quality of the food, the great service and the fact that we don't have to drive downtown to get a fine-dining experience. I love the oysters at OD, and all the appetizers are great. My husband is a huge fan of the octopus. We also love the pasta with short ribs. I miss the berry cobblers and look forward to their return with cooler weather. The only problem is finding a parking place on busy weekend nights.

   Food was delicious and waiter was very friendly and helpful. Also knowledgeable about the menu. Would definitely recommend!

   This was our 3rd visit to OD - food was amazing and our waitress was fantastic. Definitely worth the price! Can't wait to come back in Oct!

   Had an amazing meal with family here last weekend. Normally don't love sharing, but we did share numerous plates, and had just the best meal. Thanks for feeding us!!! Drinks were good, too.

   Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Outstanding food. We are from Florida and were on vacation. We will be back. Husband loved the sweetbreads.

    Have been there before - usually really good ambiance, great laid back and relaxing feel, but for some reason they were blaring rap music on a Tuesday night. Really killed the vibe of the night. Service was fine, food was great, but they rushed us in and out in less than an hour - for drinks and food. Not what I expect when I'm trying to have a nice date night, relax with nice food and drink, take our time etc. That's what we've been able to do on previous dates there, but goodness that certainly was not the case this time. Not what I expected from previous experiences at O/D. If that's the new norm there, we won't be back. The food is amazing though so I'm sure we will give it another shot - hopefully just an off night.
