   Stylish, old-school dining, with plush sofas and comfortable chairs. Table linen and napkins, polished glassware, spacious tables, silver service and good quality staff. Chandeliers, pianist on a Sunday, quiet comfort and an unhurried atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed.

   Having heard good things about The Oak Room we weren't disappointed other than on arrival they appeared not to have our booking! However that sorted we wee well looked after from pre dinner drinks in the lounge to the meal itself in the main restaurant. Having asked if it was a special occasion, it was a lovely touch to serve my wife's desert with a birthday message whilst the pianist quietly played Happy Birthday. The food was as good as the service so all in all a very enjoyable evening and one which will remind us to visit again.

   Haven't visited for a while and wasn't disappointed. Location, staff, service and food still special and well worth the money. A lovely evening.

   We went to the Oak rooom on a Monday for some food after working near by. This is a great place to go for food with peers. The foos was very good but the veune is what made with pre dinner drinks in the louge before been taken through to the dinning room. Certainly worth a visit.

   Tylney Hal, Hook - Beautiful setting and attentive, polite staff. In terms of food quality, just as good as the Ritz!

   Good food but the staff are so forgetful. We orderred wine and we were still waiting after 25minutes, only to be asked again if we can order our drinks, when directed to the person who initially took the order, it appeared he took the order and forgot about it. The meal was book for 7.30pm. We arrived on time and was in fact had now finally got the drinks, only to receive a phone call on the mobile asking if we are going to turn up for the table.

    Tylney Hall Hotel, Rotherwick, Hook This is a fantastic venue and we would have loved more time to explore the lovely grounds. We started with a drink on the patio with excellent, attentive service from the staff. We were then shown through to the dining room for our meals. The menu was a bit limited and the food was alright, but the venue made up for that for me; dark wood panelling, great view of the woods and a lovely air of formality that we really enjoyed!
