really enjoyed our dinner, waiter, atmosphere; would recommend and also go back
This is a very comfortable place. We were greeted immediately. The server was knowledgeable and personable. The food was excellent! There were three people in our group and each had a different entrée. All three were nicely prepared and delicious. The menu was creative without being weird! The desserts were fantastic. The lighting levels and the music levels were very nice! Quiet enough for quiet, relaxing conversation. We especially appreciated that. A lovely place. We will return.
Too loud inside but great food and strong wine list.
Great ambience and food with a southern/Cajun influence. Get the shrimp and grits, corn bread, and calamari steak fries!
The was our second meal here. Chief special was outstanding! Service was great. We will return.
Been here before and had a good experience. Not so much this second time. Service was outstanding. Food was mediocre. Meat was extremely fatty, sides were burnt (actually looked and tasted like the bottom of a burnt pan). Dessert was very expensive with very small portions. So far seems like this place is hit or miss. Too expensive to be hit or miss.
Really nice atmosphere. Not too big and not directly in all the hassle of Broad Ripple. Staff was great. My waiter, Hunter, was great.
I always have a good time at the Northside Social. I love the atmosphere and consistently have good dining experiences. Wine offerings are also very nice.
Went for Valentine’s Day dinner. Service was great considering the occasion, quality of food was not diminished at all. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Parking is a bit congested
Tasty food- buffalo cauliflower was great! The seasoning was not overbearing but still tasty, and cauliflower itself was prepared great. Salmon was very tender and risotto mix is a great entre choice.
Had a great dinner as always. Wonderful service. Delicious food!
My wife and I dined there for the first time to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Our server Mark was helpful and attentive. Our ribeyes were a good portion and we had fantastic wine that paired well.
First time visit to the Northside Social and it was an excellent choice. Was seated immediately, food was superb, service was prompt, courteous and informative. Noise level was good and parking was easy.
Waiter Mark was wonderful - knew the menu perfectly
The Devour Indy was a great deal. We especially enjoyed the delicious fried chicken, yummy risotto, and heavenly brownie dessert. My only suggestion would be to serve warm potatoes in the middle of winter, not cold potato salad, even though it was quite tasty.
We went for the Indy devour and I order the risotto dish I was a bit disappointed there was not much to it the risotto was good but it was too too salty it came with mushrooms and broccoli in the center and I felt like the proportion of risotto to vegetables was really off. There was a tiny portion of vegetables. so it just didn't really feel like that substantial of a meal . I would definitely advise them to cut down on the salt in the dish because to me it was overwhelming salty. Other meals that I've had at Northside Social have been awesome so I will definitely be going back but I will not be ordering the risotto.
First visit. Staff were fun and food was interesting! Looking forward to Easter Brunch!
It's one of my favorites. The food is always good, wih unique offerings. The servers are knowledgable, the atmosphere is fun. It's one of "go to" places.
Great cocktails! Food & service was very good. Tables by the windows are very chilly/drafty.
The restaurant had a mix up with bringing the food out so my date had her entree for about 20 minutes before me which was very awkward. The food was good and the potions were generous.
Friendly people, exceptionally quick service and delicious food and drink options. Keep up the great work!
Took my 16 year old grandson whom we haven't seen in a while. Seated right next to the front door and hostess desk and in front of windows that when someone pulled into a parking space their lights shined right in our eyes! Not the most relaxing spot to hear and have a conversation. The food was okay, but have been there before when the food was GREAT so was a little disappointed in the difference. Server seemed to want us to eat and leave as he kept coming back asking if we were ready to order before we even had our appetizer. i am one of those diners who wants to eat her appetizer first, have a few moments and then order so all the food doesn't come out at the same time! All in all not a bad place and will go again, but will ask for a table away from the front entryway.
This was our first visit and we were really pleasantly surprised with how good it was.
Service and food was absolutely wonderful. Great place for date night!
Excellent Service (Anne)- Great menu, have only tried the starter menu and it hasn't disappointed, but on my next visit will have to try that Redfish. Excellent cocktails, try the Pearsecco, Nelson County Smash, Buffalo Cauliflower (best in the city), Parm Shrimp and the Pork Belly. Save room for the coconut cake!
Both my husband and I had the Duck Trio, and it is a wonderful, flavorful creative dish. The serving size is very generous. Loved the black bean and rice croquette. Our server Mark was very professional and friendly and good with advice.
Great! Good food, good service.
The food was exceptional! We were greeted in a friendly manner and the excellent service continued throughout the meal.
Food in the past has been better. Salmon dry. Went at 6:30. Noise level low at this time which is nice. Still like the place and hoping our dinners are not the new norm.
The chicken dish with pasta was amazing! Perfectly cooked it was one of the best chicken cutlets I’ve ever had! Amazing combination of flavor — subtle and not too complex. Great chef!
Great ambiance and service. Food is the perfect blend of comfort and adventurous.
Good food. Interesting menu. Creative preparation. My husband loved the collard greens and coconut shrimp. My daughter loved the brisket. I think those are the best two items on the menu.
Meal was exceptional. The special of filet with "beef stew" and mashed potatoes was so good words cannot describe. The pork tamale was exceptional as well. The Key Lime Pie for dessert was SOOOOO very good. It was just a great meal!.
Our party had a very nice New Years Eve experience with excellent food and friendly service. We were seated right on time on what can be a very busy night, and they also honored our request for a table in the bar ( we find that to be a bit less noisy than the dining room - better for conversation). All in all, a nice spot for a festive holiday dinner. We eat here somewhat frequently, and have always had good experiences.
Overall, loved the place! First the positives: the food was outstanding~the Best shrimp and grits in town. The stout braised brisket was also delicious. The flavors were incredible, presentation was beautiful and not outrageously priced. Our wait staff, Mark was a delight- clearly knew the menu and made great wine suggestions. Negatives: we were seated right by the door on a very cold night and was told there was no other table available ( ok it was NYE but thought another 2 top might be free but...) so I dined with my coat over my shoulders. Second complaint had nothing to do with restaurant but woman seated right next to me had wine spilled on her by Mark. As unfortunate as that was, her reaction was ridiculous and brought the manager over several times to fawn over her as well as later giving Mark quite the talking to. Some of the wine hit my coat but, hello, I wiped it off without making a scene. That circus spoiled the ending of our lovely dinner. Overall a gem!
We had a lovely New Year's Eve dinner at Northside Social. Shelby provided excellent service and suggestions without rushing our meal.
Friendly staff, great food. Very enjoyable evening
Great dining experience! We had eaten here before & thought it the perfect place to entertain our friends from out of town. Everyone was very happy with their food & drinks & the service we received was perfect!
