Nomad was a lovely way to celebrate my birthday. Perfectly portioned, well thought out dishes. Incredibly friendly and considerate service, and an amusing parade of the glitterati who are staying at the hotel itself. A very pleasant brunch.

Absolutely fantastic experience. They clearly understand hospitality to every minor detail. The attentiveness of the staff was exceptional and we felt warm and welcome throughout the entire experience. The food quality was exceptional with creative and elegant presentations. The wine list is outstanding (give yourself extra time to read through the "good book"... it's quite the tome). I cannot wait to return.

We spent some time before dinner in the library sipping some tea and that was truly a wonderful start to our experience. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. The NoMad had a wonderful buzz to it and that added to our evening.
Once sitting at our table a confident and caring waiter tended to our questions and offered much advice. We had a delicious meal with many new tastes and presentations. The lemon almond tart was absolutely stunning!

Our experience at The NoMad was lovely--from the wonderful little table they selected for us in one of the back rooms to the thoughtful and considerate service supplied by our server Cal to the wonderfully well balanced and interesting food. When dining is pricey, a restaurant needs to deliver on all three levels--food, service and atmosphere and the NoMad met all our expectations.

This was our second trip to NoMad but the last was 5 years ago. We got seated at 6pm on a weekday in the front parlor. The area was very noisy, had loud music piped in and the club chairs were too low as dining chairs, especially for vertically challenged people like me. Quite frankly, we found the food and the place way overrated. The signature baked whole chicken ensemble was truly unique and good in every way but it was a painful $94 for two. The "fruits de mer" platter for $68/two was very underwhelming, at best like seafood selections mixed with mayonnaise. The "milk and honey" dessert was interesting but we couldn't compute how it could demand $16. Overall, a very trendy, if noisy, place, way overrated and expensive, for sure not a value. Wish they could have brought some of the food over from Eleven Madison.

Our dining experience at the NoMad was incredible from start to finish. My date and I were early for dinner service and directed by the friendly host to the Elephant Bar to enjoy some drinks while we waited. We didn't have to wait long before being seated. Our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed both of her recommendations for our first time there (Carrot Tartare, Chicken for Two, and accompanying beer by Brooklyn Brewery). Everything about our dinner was exceptional. Truthfully, before going, I didn't expect to think it would be worth the prices, but now I can't wait to return.

Very pricey (brunch for 3 with no alcohol was $170 before tip), but every bite of all three entrees, the sides and both appetizers were incredibly delicious. First rate service from the hosts to the bussers, with a special nod to Bridget, our server, who couldn't have done a better job. Very comfortable setting, lively music and chatter, but not so loud that you had to raise your voice to be heard. An excellent dining experience overall.

Let me begin by saying the room is lovely and the service was superb. But the meal: both my client and I ordered seared ahi tuna salad. Each salad was bereft of tuna. It was surprising and disappointing - I really had to search for it, and can only think that they ran out of the stuff but weren’t bold enough to tell their servers about it. As I didn’t know this client well I didn’t say anything to the server. But when the bill came to $103 - with only the two salads and one glass of wine on it - I felt taken as a chump. I’m certainly prepared to pay for, and am used to, Manhattan prices, but this time I really felt taken advantage of.

Lovely meal. The roast chicken for two lived up to its reputation. Would've liked to see greens as an option for salad or side. Service was great. Cocktails also delicious.

I really enjoyed our meal at The NoMad. The food was fantastic, the cocktails were good (if overpriced for the size), and our server was helpful with all questions about the menus. Sometimes the service felt a bit slow, perhaps because the place was jammed! Even though it was packed, I didn't feel crammed in and also didn't notice other tables that much. Overall the food was great, but everything is priced high (cocktails $16-18 each, "snacks" are $16-20 for a small share plate, non-vegetarian appetizers are $28-32, and meat/fish entrees are $39-45). The beef dish, while delicious, barely filled me for $45. We opted for entrees and one snack to share for the tables, but with drinks for 4, the overall bill w tip was over $100 per person, which is a lot for a regular ole Thursday evening. The vegetarian dishes are less expensive. The bathrooms fyi are out the main doors and around the bend and down the stairs and around another bend... it's quite the hike to get there.

My experience at The NoMad was impeccable. The team truly embodies the notion of thoughtful genuine hospitality. From the cocktails to the food, there is clear attention to detail and love put into everything.
My party enjoyed several dishes shared amongst the table for a business meal, from appetizer to dessert, and everyone was completely satisfied with their meal and experience.

Service was smooth, seamless and well-paced, not pretentious. Interesting wine selection, inventive, solidly delicious food, comfortable overall ambience--was buzzy and busy but we were never rushed nor overpowered by noise. Prices synch with the quality.

This is by far my favorite place in the entire city. The beaux-arts decor is moody and stunning. The service is so exceptional. All of this is matched by perfect food and the most amazing cocktails.

I booked via open table and noted that I was celebrating my best friends birthday. The hotel emailed me prior to the reservation and asked if there is anything could do to make the evening more special. When I arrived, lots of staff remembered me from pasts visits and made a point of greeting me. At the end of the night they had a very special surprise for us, which I will not disclose in order not spoil it for other guests.
