About

The NoMad is the second restaurant from Chef Daniel Humm and Restaurateur Will Guidara.

Inspired by the Chef's time spent throughout Switzerland, California, and New York City, the restaurant is rooted in the same traditions found at their critically-acclaimed, Michelin three-star rated Eleven Madison Park.

The restaurant has soaring interiors with a refined, yet approachable menu, featuring a thoughtfully-curated wine program celebrating the great wine regions of the world, alongside innovative and classically-focused cocktails.

What Insiders Are Saying

The Infatuation

Is the Nomad still a big deal? It depends on how you do it.

Ratings 7.5-8.0:These are restaurants that are reliable, tasty, and particularly good for whatever we have deemed them “Perfect For.” Hit up a 7.7 for Date Night with confidence, as long as you don’t need the restaurant to be the most interesting thing that happens that night.

this is one of my favorite NYC restaurants. Whenever I am in town, I make sure to dine here. The offerings are delicious. The chicken-for-two and beer pairing are delicious. The staff does a wonderful job of attending to your questions and requests.

The burger was great. The fries a bit too salty though.

Our experience was stellar from start to finish. The service was impeccable from the server, sommelier to the support staff. The food was very enjoyable in every way (preparation, combination of flavors and textures, presentation, creativity). The ambience was also warm, energetic and fun. What a beautiful room! Your bar program is like nothing I've ever seen. The house cocktails were amazing. The only criticism I have is the bartenders were smug. Thank you for a lovely dinner. We look forward to returning soon.

It's a perfect restaurant for foodies. We just cannot get this quality in NJ. So many choices! Each dish more delicious than the next. We had every curse except dessert - too full and ran out of time. Easy to spend three plus hours there. The ambience is great. Dark and cozy. They have an attractive bar to start out the evening.

We loved this restaurant! The food and service was outstanding. The menu was on the pricier side with a $94 roast chicken for 2. It was delicious though. Waitstaff was very attentive and unintrusive.

It would be hard to leave a bad review because this place is amazing. I Luckily got a last minute opening and everything from the moment I walked in, to the beautiful table, knowledgeable waitress, kind staff, incredible dishes prepared from the chef in which every bite was an experience like know other, the cocktails of which are well balanced and the ambience is all such an occasion. The NoMad is not your typical experience so if you are looking to amp it up, then get your reservation in early (or gamble like I do), get decked out and enjoy it. You really don’t have to go anywhere else as they have three bars to choose from if you just want to stay longer.
Enjoy.

We had a wonderful birthday celebration at The NoMad restaurant. Although you enter through a moody, dark hotel lobby, the restaurant itself is illuminated by a skylight, and the welcoming staff make you feel at home even if you are outside the hotel's millennial demographic. Prices are on the high side, but the quality of food and beverage is at a very high level. We had the seafood tower, which at NoMad is a series of crafted bites, not simply shellfish. The cocktails are some of the best in the city. The entrees run $40 per person or more, but our dishes were delightful (the foie stuffed chicken for two, and the snapper boulliabaise). I would reserve these prices for a special occasion, but it did indeed feel special.

Menu has good selection of meat-free options, which my dinner companion and I enjoyed. Because this is currently a popular place, they do try to turn the tables promptly, so just be aware.

When we arrived, we were directed to a table that was less than optimal - it was in the back, it was dark, it had a curtain almost swishing into it and it was one of the only tables for 2 that was right next to a table for 4. I requested another table (this was a birthday celebration after all! ) and was told most of the other tables were already reserved. Luckily, there was another table that was available and so we were seated at a better table (We saw 2 other parties who were directed to our original table also ask for a different table)
but after this, and after being seated at a nicer table, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The food, chicken, was amazing. Also our waiter, Tyler, was outstanding!
Would highly recommend The NoMad.

When I made the reservation I told them it was for my daughter’s birthday. When we were seated there, on the table, was a handwritten birthday note! What a great and kind thing for a restaurant to do! First we had drinks at the Elephant bar. Friendly bartenders and great cocktails. Dinner was amazing. We had the roast chicken, scallops and beef. We started with the prawns, the carrot tartare and the tortelloni which were all delicious. For dessert we shared the milk and honey and the coffee granita. A fabulous meal!! I will definitely return

My favorite place to bring friends and family. Whether it be brunch, lunch, dinner or drinks, Nomad is the perfect blend of upscale and casual. For the price you pay, you really get quality food and quality drinks and quality service. They hands down the best burger I’ve ever had and not to mention the fries!! Do yourself a favor and check this place out. You will not regret.

We got there a little early and had drinks in the library. A nice place to sit. Service could not have been better. Everyone was attentative but not overbearing. Food was quite flavorful. I am not a vegetarian but I had the cauliflower dish and could not have been more satisfied. The area we sat in was between the lobby and the bar, so was quite busy but we enjoyed people watching. I would come back and recommend this restaurant to others.

As usual a wonderful time at the NoMad, which has a wonderful ambience, in several spaces, the main dining room with glass roof and its cozy fireplace room, and the Library, which is cozy and restful. The staff are attentive and charming. The food is the perfect blend of authentically comforting with edgy takes on the traditional, with amazing attention to detail. Yesterday at breakfast, the side of avocado was incredibly perfect, flawless, beautifully cut and presented.
