Inspired by the Chef's time spent throughout Switzerland, California, and New York City, the restaurant is rooted in the same traditions found at their critically-acclaimed, Michelin three-star rated Eleven Madison Park.
The restaurant has soaring interiors with a refined, yet approachable menu, featuring a thoughtfully-curated wine program celebrating the great wine regions of the world, alongside innovative and classically-focused cocktails.
What Insiders Are Saying
Is the Nomad still a big deal? It depends on how you do it.
Trip to NYC
Great food experience, however our wait staff were very unfriendly and almost socially odd. No smiles, they didn’t offer or seem to know it was our anniversary and when I asked if the restaurant does anything for anniversaries, he replied, “like what? What do you want?” Strange answer. He then said he could give us a scoop of ice cream and walked away. He returned 10-15 minutes later with their mills and honey dessert that was delicious! Just strange and unfriendly staff. Food wise, we loved the asparagus hummus, the duck and halibut! Highly recommend the food. It is very pricey.
Very noisy from the bar trickling into the restaurant. The seating is a bit strange-open room but feels cramp. The food was excellent from the uni tacos (delicous) to the foie, and then duck entree was outstanding as well was the halibut.
Dessert of peaches was lackluster.
Fun experience, but too noisy for me.
Very expensive as well.
Two rooms: one bright and very noisy, the other dark and gloomy. We were seated in the second, after being first sat at a table too small for two dinner plates. Fortunately a light nearby made it possible to read the menu and wine list. Menu is on the short side and the prices very aggressive and worse: the portions are miniscule and tat from one who rarely can finish the meal and often takes home. That said, aside from an unexciting fluke starter at $30, the #42 duck and $48 lamb were very fine. The "sample" portions were imaginative and highly satisfying. We shared a dessert but the waiter kindly brought another. Whatever my quibbles, the room was filled , including a party of 7 with a howling child and several denizens in printed tee shirts and one in flip flops: typical NY sophisticates who doubtless share none of my concerns.
Among NYC's finest restaurants for exceptional food and service.
I went there for brunch and overall everything was great, howevever, the bloody Mary lacked presentation. There were no accoutrements (no celery, olives, etc.). The blow fish for $22 is a bit pricey for a few pieces, but loved the basil aioli. I love the coffee service with the delicious biscotti. The chicken sandwich with black truffle and foie gras for $30 was a bit disappointing and lacked flavor?
Great food and service thanks
The best dining and food experience that I have had in my life of travels. Thank God I found this immersive hole in the wall! I had two meals - breakfast omelet with goat cheese and mushrooms was the best in my life and a lunch of duck and croissants and fish fritters. I love this place!
A little cold but everything was very good
Amazing food! Awesome service! The portions could have been bigger, but adequate. This is not a cheap meal, but you get what you pay for!!!!
Fine dining, deserves all the praise you've probably read and are now reading again. If you like things like truffles and foie, you'll love the roast chicken for 2. Truly excellent. I had a wonderful time here and I wish for you the same
Not my first visit here. Unfortunately every time I come here I eat the same dish. Now, for someone who’s in the perpetual search for the perfect duck the affection for the chicken may seem strange... However, if you ever want to know what a chicken may taste like, this is the place. Try the chicken. That’s all I can say. As soon as you (and your guest) are done with your meal you will realize that you just paid $100 for a ...chicken, but it’s probably one of the best meals ever!
Luv this place, always good food. Fun ambiance and gorgeous decor
Wonderful service and food at reluxed but classy hotel dining.
We will be back for dinner.
Amazing as always
We were late due to a subway snafu. They kindly seated us 20 min late....service impeccable (especially Rob). Food was unique and beautifully presented...taste matched the presentation. Not too filling where you could enjoy dessert...which if you have a chance to experience the milk and honey you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to be back soon.
来过这里就知道为什么 11 Madison Park 不用去了
我们来的不是餐厅是bar 只接受walk in
这里也有很多可选择的简餐 但并没有太出彩的菜色 适合吃饭喝酒 味道不好不坏
My husband and I celebrated an anniversary at Nomad, and we both truly enjoyed our experience. Rob, and the entire staff were incredibly welcoming, and made our meal, and evening, perfectly special. The food was excellent, the service was friendly, and the restaurant was fun and beautiful. We could not have asked for a better experience.
A million thanks...
Amazing cocktails and the best roast chicken! Great service too.
Food was great, service was excellent, and it was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had.
It’s overrated. The place is nice but the food isn’t good
Best for 1x1. Intimate, cozy, dark. Fantastic drinks. Limited food choice but well curated. Stick to one shareable appetizer (fruits de mer ceviche for 2) and main course (especially if you're doing the specialty chicken/foie gras for 2)...spend your money on the mixology drinks and cocktails instead...finish with milk and honey dessert.
It’s our Third time in Nomad and always wobderfull !!!
The best as usual!!! Can’t wait to have our wedding here!!!
The food is exquisite, if a little too pricey perhaps. The interior and ambiance are very interesting, definitely a cool and unusual place to take interesting guests to for a good meal.
Always fabulous! Great food and always the best service.
Atmosphere - great, food - good, waiter was robot- like, cold, indifferent. He appeared to be a manager. Very poor service.
Mal servicio, sonido muy alto.
Great space and exquisite food
As always, outstanding food and wines
A must while in NYC
Interesting location with good food.High level service plus music of old times.Great!!!
Regular, I expected more. Nice wines, food ok, but not extraordinary. The place is beautiful. Still, for me it's a better choice to have a drink at the bar than a dinner in the restaurant.
Very beautiful place with very good service. The food was really good. I would only suggest a meal for 2 of red meat not only chiken.
Excellent experience, the chicken unbelievable, chic and sofisticated, loved it
We were showed a whole cooked chicken about 7 minutes after ordering, as "our" chicken. In 3 more minutes it all came out in 3 bowls. One bowl supposedly had two thighs and two drumsticks, but amounted to several bites. I asked our (distracted and unkempt) server about how could this dish contain 2 thighs and 2 drumsticks, and his response was they order small chickens ($99 for a very small chicken). We come here every time we come to NYC and have always been so stuffed we cannot finished. I left hungry. We were shocked and amused, but will try this again.
Tutto bene , per i miei gusti musica troppo alta
