The room with the bar is very vibrant, while the back room is just a bunch of tables. Our waitress barely checked on us and never asked if we wanted another drink or anything else. They knew it was my birthday and made no effort to do a thing. Mimosa was flat, probably because it was served in a white wine glass instead of a champagne glass and was very uninspired.
. Biggest (or smallest) problem was the tuna salad which for is 36 or 7 dollars should be enough for lunch but instead comes with frisee and four 1 inch cubes of tuna and a little confit. Fills barely half a plate, a total joke. Bread is extra. Requested a croissant and then had to request butter and jam. The place is a fortune and no one cares to know how to wait on people. (Exception was the lowly water girl) Hope they all get starring roles soon.

There's no sufficient praise I can give for how much I love this restaurant, which I recommend to every person I know visiting New York.

The chicken for 2 was extraordinary. The wine list was crazy--it seems that there were almost no choices under $200 and many many choices over $1000.

Fantastic food, had the chicken for two - a few more veggies would have made it perfect, but it was a fantastic dining experience with exceptional service. Highly recommend !

We had the roasted chicken for two on the recommendation of a friend. It was spectacular. We were seated in a wonderfully decorated room with carved marble fireplace and upholstered walls. The banquette seat was a little low for the table height. The lighting was warm and inviting. Our server was friendly and informative and perfectly attentive. The food was really the main show and we loved it. Also good mixed drinks. The whole restaurant and bar has many rooms all with different decor, mostly energetic level of sound, some quite dark, but all lively.
Highly recommended.

Really good food and great service. The staff was prompt and very enjoyable. The portions are not big but that was fine with us because the food was really good and presented very nicely.

Friends recommended the hotel restaurant, so we thought let's give it a try. We used to live in the city for quite some time and we were back for the marathon. Made reservations ahead of our arrival in NYC. We loved the decor of the restaurant, but where annoyed by the amount of staff. They would have chats and laughs close to were people where dining... It's unbelievable how many people where walking around from security, managers, staff, etc... And still they got it wrong twice. We just had a main course because we were exhausted by running the marathon the day before. The food is ok, but you can have better in NYC, especially for that price. The most annoying thing was the Air conditioning, which they couldn't turn off! people where sitting in the restaurant with their coats and jackets still on. They offered us some pashmina's, but it was still very cold. It's not that you need the AC in november, do you?! Anyway, too bad that it didn't live up to our expectations...

Fuimos a tomar el brunch del domingo como despedida de nuestro viaje a Nueva York. La decoración es bonita, el servicio muy atento y la comida fantastica. Todo lo que tomamos estaba buenísimo, muy recomendable el famoso brioche con pollo.

Service was very slow. They told us bread wasn’t available at brunch while we waited for main course. Pasta was very overcooked and strangely textured and sauce was mediocre (not up to NYC standards). Dining room is lovely.

The chicken for two was incredible! The wine list was grossly overpriced! It was nearly impossible to find a good wine for less than $200! We ordered a $375 bottle of Chianti that was close to spoiling. What a huge disappointment for that price point. There are 100s of better restaurants in NYC for the money. A major disappointment. Just my two cents.

A journey from LA to NYC for a week merited looking for interesting and "different" places to dine. I don't usually seek out hotel restaurants, but the Nomad had very good reviews and looked interesting. The choice of the Nomad was a hit on all counts. We arrived on time and our table was ready on time. Because I was having duck and my date was having squash, we asked a very youthful looking Somm for assistance in selecting a wine. He guided us to what turned out to be a delicious French Chardonnay, which went perfectly with everything we ordered. The Brussels Sprouts salad was different and very tasty in a world that is now overpopulated by Brussels Sprouts and bacon. The Amuse was what appeared to be a creamy Hollandaise with smoked sturgeon and roe, served in an egg shell and looking like a soft-boiled egg, and had they brought us a dozen of them, we would have eaten every one. Both the duck and the squash, which came with delicious bits of sausage, were excellent. Service was friendly and very low key and we are lead to believe that they will be opening a hotel and restaurant in downtown LA in the near future. We can't wait!

Despite a slow start (no one pointed the menus were underneath the napkins on the table and i couldn't attract anyones attention to get the drinks list for a good 5+ minutes, then they bought the dessert menus instead by mistake causing more delays) we had a very enjoyable evening. The sommelier was friendly and helpful, always appreciated especially as we must have ordered something far cheaper than most guests do ( a nice Californian Pinot Noir @ $65) and after the drinks menu fiasco, service was attentive and helpful throughout. Meyer Lemon & Crab Tagliatelle was first class (they thoughtfully split it into two bowls for us to share) as were the suckling pig & Variations of mushroom. Cocktails in the bar after are a must

I've always wanted to try the chicken for two and finally got the chance. The chicken was really excellent and cooked to perfection. We also ordered brussels sprouts and crab tagliatelle to start and both were excellent as well. A really good (and pricey) meal! Only feedback is that the wait staff wasn't that attentive when we needed him and the food can be a bit salty, but that is just my preferences. I would definitely come back and try something else!

Was a very elegant experience. Took my boyfriend here for his birthday and the food tested incredible. Portions were small however the flavors made the price worth every penny. Was given a complimentary vegan frozen treat and cookie for dessert which was incredible. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

The NoMad Restaurant had Michelin Star quality food without the price tag. Each dish was well portioned so that you can have a full three course meal without leaving feeling like you need to be rolled out the door, but are instead, comfortably full. Even the bread was delicious and innovative. I truly enjoyed the food, although more lighting would have been appreciated as it was so dark that I needed to use the flashlight function on my phone to read the menu, and the servers lacked the same high quality as the food.
