Inspired by the Chef's time spent throughout Switzerland, California, and New York City, the restaurant is rooted in the same traditions found at their critically-acclaimed, Michelin three-star rated Eleven Madison Park.
The restaurant has soaring interiors with a refined, yet approachable menu, featuring a thoughtfully-curated wine program celebrating the great wine regions of the world, alongside innovative and classically-focused cocktails.
Great food and you pay for it. Cool setting and attentive staff during a busy Saturday dinner.
The NoMad is a great experience.
Food was amazing and the ambiance was beyond expectation.
If anything our waiter was a bit slow in everything and the building structure amplified the noises. My friend with slightly impacted hearing (which usually isn't an issue at other places) cannot hear/ do conversations at all.
Very poor service and such a shame as excellent food and drink quality
Top notch breakfast fare - everything from smoothies to oatmeal to avocado toast to Black Seed bagels with cream cheese and lox to lemon ricotta pancakes to Eggs Benedict. A definite cut above most places for breakfast. All the food was outstanding. However, it's "expense account prices."
Wish it could be for every day but too $$$
Great brunch! Brussel sprouts and chicken sandwich were the highlights! Service was good. Library room is fun place to go before or after your meal to enjoy a drink and relax.
Nomad is always the best food and drink. This was a rare occasion of service being a bit slow
Absolutely fantastic in every way!
The French fries we ordered were extremely salty, literally coated with grains of salt all over. The toasted chicken - which I believe is their signature dish - also was salty (but less so than the fries).
Indeed: The very best restaurant experience in NYC ever! We've actually been there twice in a row :)
We were disappointed by NoMad restaurant. The menu has a limited choice. For example, steak is available only if you order for two. I ordered foie gras appetizer and lobster main dish, most expensive items in their categories. Foie gras came in tiny portion, not surprisingly perhaps. Compared to other places it was not properly prepared either. What was surprising was the lobster main dish came in an appetizer portion with no vegetable or starch accompaniment. The waiter, being aware of the meager size of the entree, kept offering more bread, thanks to her. My wife had a vegetarian dish, portobello mushroom. Again, insufficient portion for even someone who is not very hungry.
All the fancy show the pace displays is not worth it if you leave hungry after a very expensive meal. There are plenty of other options, and I will not go here to spend my money again.
Loved it! I have been to eleven mad park, this is it’s fun causal cousin.
Everything was great! The food was soo good! And the service was outstanding. Definitely going back
Everything was great!
We ordered the Roast chicken for two. It was prepared in 3 different ways and each one of them was delicious.
Not a good brunch menu. Tables too close together. Bad brunch pick
The restaurant is gorgeous. The service was awful. We did not get what we ordered and we were charged by our server with something we didn’t get. And when we ask him to confirm the amount he charged us, he said he took it off the invoice. We trusted him but when we get back to check our bill, he didn’t not take the item off the invoice. Very very disappointed. The restaurant did not refund us the extra charge.
great mood, food, and service
Outstanding experience with one negative comment: a tad too noisy. Not terribly so but less volume on the music would help without diminishing the experience!
Gorgeous restaurant with great service and food
Very good food. Very slow service.
Bartender was great-
Vibe was awesome
Put on your short list of places to go in nyc
Excellent wine, food and service. Tables a bit tight. Will definitely be back
Dinner before the magic show - it was wonderful!
Excellent service by the Somm
Amazing food !!!
One of the best spots in NY. Every time we come, it's a time to return!
Jordanne, the server was terrific. I ordered th lavender macaron for dessert. I told her ot was an "11". I asked if I could buy one for my wife to bring home (75 miles away in western NJ). She brought it to me with the check and announced that it was complimentary. I brought it home and my wife (knowledgeable and picky about her food) also said "11". MAde for a very appy lunch and after lunch!
Great atmosphere and loved the food. Very unique. Great service.
Great spot for lunch. Ask to sit in the atrium. Service is practically white glove and while the menu is limited for lunch, everything is done superbly.
Everything is just perfect!
Will return for dinner for sure!
I can’t remember the last 5 star review I gave but after dining there 4 times Nomad is at the top of my list in NYC. I won’t mention the 2-Michelin star restaurant we also ate in bu Nomad was hands down a better experience. The bone marrow crusted filet mignon was amazing with a very fine grain to the meat, and it was tender and flavorful beyond words. I don’t know where they get their beef but it’s consistently fantastic. Ask to be seated at one of Franks tables if he’s available. The bar is amazing also. Give Nomad a try, you won’t be disappointed.
The ambiance was amazing, the food was great, but THE SERVICE!!! We could not get over how excellent the service was. From dusting the table off after every plate to arranging the fresh silverware perfectly, no stone was left unturned.
Everything was superb.
I received a dirty glass of orange juice. Also it was so hard to get my check
Great wait staff. Friendly, helpful, positive attitude. Food was delicious & presented in a timely manner. Love the decor.
I recommand this restaurant to all the people who has concerned where to go
Excelente ambiente y servicio! Muy buena calidad en los alimentos!
Lo recomiendo ampliamente
Overpriced but I did appreciate the presentation of the food. The ambience is nice.
