The Nest Ratings and Reviews
Vibrant and lively venue with good food (although quite pricey) enjoyed it but did not appreciate having a big screen tv with football playing in the restaurant. It was an upmarket venue but this made it feel like a sports bar with table cloths.
Loved the music.
The dining room, service, menu, and meal was excellent. Unfortunately the after hours music in the bar area was not nearly to the standard of previous visits. We were very disappointed as we had raved about The Nest to the 8 guests were were entertaining. No one was impressed with the Euro disco thumping music. We missed the great dance music we had experienced on so many past visits. We left early and went elsewhere. But service in the bar was superb as always. The staff is great.
Had the Sunset Dinner Double pork chop. I asked for it to be medium rare. The chop came out well done and dry. I couldn't even nd swallow it. I asked to have it taken back which they kindly did and again bring me a juicy med rare. Second chop came out almost the same as first, to well done and dry. I did not ask to have it redone correctly as my other 3 guests at our table were done eating. Very disappointed .
We enjoyed the delicious food and excellent service. They made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. We had the Sole Piccata, Filet Mignon and the Porcini Ravioli. All of it was cooked perfectly. We loved that the owners were present and friendly, and that they interacted with guests and staff, that is so nice to see nowadays. They checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our experience, we felt like they really cared and wanted us to know it. We will definitely be back and highly recommend. 👍👍
Although I checked "quiet", it is quiet before the music starts at 7. That said, it still doesn't get too loud in the dining room and I find it enjoyable to hear the bar music in the dining room. The bar would be a little more to the louder range. We went for the early bird dinner and not only was the food delicious, but the price is excellent! Plus you get soup or salad and desert with the early bird meals. We also ordered escargot. It is to die for!! A must if you love escargot. The dining room was decorated beautifully for halloween. Not goulish, just cozy and elegant. This is one of our "go-to" restaurants when we are in town.
Came for friends Birthday. Dinner reservations on a Saturday night for 8:30p. The place was jamming, which was pretty cool. I just think the establishment is to small for the amount of people they let in. The live music is fantastic!
On to the food: the Steaks were very good, however under seasoned. The garlic potatoes where very flavorful. The sautéed spinach was bland and needed some serious seasoning. We finished with a piece of chocolate cake which was heavy, but delicious.
Interesting local restaurant with a wide variety on the menu. I had the burek-a spinach and feta pie and a meat pie. Both were good and served with a nice variety of vegetables. I would recommend going for the entertainment and sitting in the bar for appetizers. Lively crowd!
Our experience was excellent, the food was delicious, the live music was wonderful: live singing and piano entertainment in one bar area and a DJ dance area in the room and patio in back. It is obvious that the owners care about their customers and take pride in providing the best in meals, music and atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
We had several extremely noisy tables near us where the groups came in already with too much wine or something. It is a noisy restaurant but these girls were extreme. Our food was good but somehow not wonderful like the last time we were in . We will return on a Tuesday when the more boisterous crowds aren’t shouting foolishly. It is a lively, fun place to dine occasionally when we are in the desert.
