The Nest Ratings and Reviews
What a place! Great food whatever your budget. Great bar area and great live music. Bar staff are amazing and very quick to serve you no matter how busy they get. The place gets very very busy so get there early and be prepared for an amazing night. You will not be disappointed.
Four of us dined and we were all thrilled with our food. The veal piccata and the sole piccata where as good as it gets! It was the restaurant week menu and it's nice to see the Nest participate when they really are busy all the time anyway. We all commented it was one of the best meals we've had in the desert.
What a blast! Was recommended by a friend who told us 'if you want to go to a place that has good food, good service and an incredible piano bar vibe' the Nest is a must. He was not wrong. We arrived early for our 7.30pm reservation and sat in the bar. The crowd was eclectic made up of 21 - 60 year olds - mostly casual, some more dressy. We sat at the bar where service, drinks and friendliness was great. The piano players were awesome - immediately getting the crowd dancing and singing along to well recognized song favorites.
We were called to our table where both service and food was good. The dining crowd on this particular night was primarily made up of groups of 6-10 - all seemingly enjoying themselves.
After dinner, we went back into the bar which was packed with people having a great time. We stuck around for about another hour. When we left we noticed about 50 people waiting on line to get into the bar! Obviously a very popular venue - and for good reason!
You can't beat The Nest's early bird dinner for a complete and delicious dinner with a variety of options for all tastes. This terrific value offers soup or salad choices, an entree and dessert. The soup du jour was a cream based carrot and spinach soup with herbed crouton which was absolutely delicious. We chose the pork chops and the sole with artichoke hearts, tomatoes and asparagus served over pasta with a light lemon sauce. Both very good. Next time, I'll try the canneloni. Desserts were in rather small proportions, but very rich and delicious to make a perfect end to the meal.
Although we didn't sit in the bar, it was very apparent that it was a popular place!
We've had our vacation condo in the desert for over 3 years and have gone to a lot of restaurants in the area. This was our first time at The Nest. My Lebanese friend was thrilled to find frogs legs on the menu and the light breading was a very tasty treatment. The rest of the our dishes were also very nice. The service was a little lacking - I think they need to add a few helpers. Our friend had to get up in search of his own wine list. The owner/M'atire D was pretty scary. We had originally scheduled the reservation for 6:30 pm but had gone onto Open Table and re-scheduled it to 7:00 pm. Apparently the request didn't transfer and the owner made it exceedingly clear that she was not a happy camper - very brusque. We were seated in a rather curt manner. We love to dine in the area and there are lots of options in the area. Even though our experience was good, I'm not sure if we will be back due to the lack of hospitality.
We had a company "Team-Builder" at the Nest, starting with dinner then we hit the bar. The food was delicious (I had the filet w/prawn and it was cooked perfectly!). The wine list was extensive. Dody was very accommodating and friendly to our entire group. We were a group of 22 and had an awesome time that went late into the night. The bar was hopping to say the least. Absolutely worth the drive! We will definitely be back!
Been going to the Nest since 1995.it was great then ...... and now it's unbelievable !
Every thing was just great. The changes are a Plus and will definitely starte going there again . The choses on the menu are ingretable

We recommend the nest not only for their fine food but the excellent entertainment all-around wonderful experience
The Nest is a special place. My wife and I visited while here on vacation. The food (we had Italian dishes) was very good and the service was outstanding. After dinner we migrated to the bar where there was live singing. It was the most fun I've had in years! The crowd was older than us (I am 40) but a lot of fun. It was very refreshing just to see so many people having a good time. On top of that the singer was very talented and the music selection varied from contemporary to classic. The singer asked a few guests to sing as well which included an 82 year old gentleman who sang opera - and did so quite well. I so wish this place was in my hometown. I would go every day!!!
