The Nauti Mermaid
Restaurant failed to mention over half of their menu would be unavailable due to a concert near by. I made reservations and was highly disappointed. I ended up getting shrimp tacos with barely any condiments available. The food was ridiculously over priced for the quality and service.
Immediately sitting down a lady told us she waited an hour and a half to get her food. So we patiently waited 15 minutes and never saw a waitress so we walked out.
We really enjoyed it. Cute nautical decor and loved the lobster nachos.
Father's Day dinner for Walleye/Perch. It was delicious.
Love music out front that was not too loud
Was disappointed. Ordered the Walleye which was good , but all the sides we got like french fires and onion rings were cooked in dirty oil. The side salad was all iceberg lettuce and not very tasty. Was disappointed with the sides and greasiness of the food.
First time visit - wasn’t sure what to expect. The nautical decor and casual atmosphere was nice. Was told they were short staffed in the kitchen - luckily we were not in a hurry. Hot crab dip appetizer was excellent. For the price ($22) - the lobster was good. My wife liked the Nauti pasta minus the spicy sausage. If you want romantic seafood spot - this is not the place - but if you want good seafood at decent prices - Nauti Mermaid works.
The fries came out way overcooked - the oysters were great!
Fun place. Went before Cavs game. Food was great, nice local beer selection on tap. The perch dinner was great and my wife had the lobster which she said was cooked just right and really sweet. Manager came by our table. Nice touch. Service is a little slow but worth it if you are not in a big hurry. Would go back!
Great meal and it was a fun environment ! Would definitely return!
Great food in a casual dive bar atmosphere. Very fun atmosphere & ambiance. Noel treated us with fabulous service. 🍺🍺🍺🍺
This was the second time that I have been to the Nauti Mermaid and I really enjoyed it. The lobster nachos are great! Super fun, little spot for seafood.
Great food, love coming here! Service was a little slow because a fryer broke down, but the staff adjusted well and we had a great meal!
Great Bar! They do not take reservations on St Patrick's Day! Even though Open Table made one for us. The owner found us a table and made sure we stayed happy. The food was great at a very reasonable price!
$22 for a whole lobster on lobster Monday was great! It was the first time my friend and I had ever cracked one open! It was fun and delicious
Had my two favorite foods - King Crab Legs over clams - never had that twosome served before!!
This was a great choice for a birthday celebration!
Food was great but our service was not.
I would still go back. It was s cute little place with really good food.
Service was abysmal. Three times had to grab someone else to find our waitress. Did not bring both ordered appetizers, only one. Manager ended up bringing entrees, one of which was not hot. Then, manager disappeared. Empty plates then sat on table for way too long until waitress brought the two desserts which she tried to slip alongside the dirty dishes. Had to ask her to first remove the dishes. After that she gave my wife her dessert and then took mine and gave it to another table. I never got my dessert. Another manager was summoned when no check was forthcoming from our nonexistent waitress who listened to our tale and then did not require us to pay. Overall, the worst dining experience we ever had, but at least they didn't expect us to pay for it, too.
Great food. The lobster nachos are the best. Prices are not bad for a downtown restaurant. I will be back.
Food was great! As soon as we walked in we felt very comfortable. The bartender was awesome and very friendly and made excellent drinks! The crab and the shrimp were so fresh! Will definitely come back again while in the Cleveland area!
We had heard about it and decided to check it out. It was a Sunday night and quiet. Service was excellent, food (dinner) was average or less. Probably will return for a drink and appetizers just not for dinner.
Not from Cleveland and this restaurant was exceptional. The ambiance was great and the lobster nachos were incredible. We loved the big portions. Nobody left hungry
the nauti mermaid was a fun place for some yummy drinks and decent food. the seafood is reasonably priced, surf and surf was $42.00 for ~1/2 to 3/4 lb fresh whole lobster and a dozen clams. the bloody marys are super spicy and delicious. it wouldve been tastier witha celery stalk or a cupla green olives, though.. overall i would visit again in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor patio
Great Food! Even better service!
Everything turned out great. The food was very good and to top it off your Key lime pie was the best I've ever had and I've had many through out the state of Florida. Yours was the best bar none.
We had a good experience and I would recommend the Nauti Mermaid. Our server was excellent and the happy hour drink pricing was fantastic.
My son and I I had the Nauti pasta. It was good. My wife had the Walleye and she liked it as well.
Go for happy hour. Get the oysters. $5 for 6. They were great, and so was the rest of the food.
Nice neighborhood feel in an otherwise very busy section of town. Wait staff was really friendly and attentive. Food was very well presented and tasted wonderful. I would recommend this restaurant to others without hesitation.
This was our first visit to The Nauti Mermaid, but it won't be our last. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and the service was wonderful and very attentive. Everything was beautifully presented, the specialty drinks were very tasty, and the pricing was more than reasonable. We look forward to returning soon and bringing our friends with us. Highly recommended!
This restaurant did not meet my expectation. Compared to all the other places I have eaten on Open Tables listings this was an average place at best
The food was mediocre and the service was super slow.
Overall very good. Good place for lake perch and walleye however they disappointed me with greasy fries.
A salty little place with good food, a decent beer list, nice outside patio and good service. If you are looking for a comfortable place to have a good dinner- this a the place. The night we were there they had live music on the patio which just adder to the experience!
Four of us were there, celebrating three of our birthdays. The food was really good, and everyone was really friendly from the time we walked in the door. We had a really good time. Would definitely eat there again
The NM was lacking some good service. When we asked for the beers on tap..the server told us to turn around and look at the menu near the bar. The server had a hard time getting around, she was spilling our drinks all over herself and our table when delivering them to us, not to mention that she was not very nice. The margarita was to sweet and my friends draft beer tasted funny. Returned the draft for a bottled beer. Nachos were good. Waitress never checked back with us for another round of drinks. Cute place. Would not want same server again.
Oh how I love this place. Anytime I'm in the Cleveland area, this is where I eat. The jalapeno lobster soup is to die for. Seriously, it's the best bowl of soup I've ever had in my life. The crab cake pretzel bun sandwich is incredible, the lobster nachos are AMAZING, the mahi mahi burger is awesome. The food is just fantastic. Mad kudos to the chef! I will come here every single time hands down!
First time there enjoyed meeting Gus very friendly . The waiter also very helpful and friendly . The food was good the Mahi was a little dry and overcooked but really didn't want to send back and wait that's on me. I would try again the rest of the meals no complaints .
The food was great, the best crab cakes ever. Loved the Walleye. Service was excellent.
The lobster nacho's were amazing! The mahi mahi was perfect. The wide variety of beer choices helped make it an outstanding dining experience. Thank you!
