The Nauti Mermaid Ratings and Reviews
the nauti mermaid was a fun place for some yummy drinks and decent food. the seafood is reasonably priced, surf and surf was $42.00 for ~1/2 to 3/4 lb fresh whole lobster and a dozen clams. the bloody marys are super spicy and delicious. it wouldve been tastier witha celery stalk or a cupla green olives, though.. overall i would visit again in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor patio
This was our first visit to The Nauti Mermaid, but it won't be our last. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and the service was wonderful and very attentive. Everything was beautifully presented, the specialty drinks were very tasty, and the pricing was more than reasonable. We look forward to returning soon and bringing our friends with us. Highly recommended!
A salty little place with good food, a decent beer list, nice outside patio and good service. If you are looking for a comfortable place to have a good dinner- this a the place. The night we were there they had live music on the patio which just adder to the experience!
The NM was lacking some good service. When we asked for the beers on tap..the server told us to turn around and look at the menu near the bar. The server had a hard time getting around, she was spilling our drinks all over herself and our table when delivering them to us, not to mention that she was not very nice. The margarita was to sweet and my friends draft beer tasted funny. Returned the draft for a bottled beer. Nachos were good. Waitress never checked back with us for another round of drinks. Cute place. Would not want same server again.
Oh how I love this place. Anytime I'm in the Cleveland area, this is where I eat. The jalapeno lobster soup is to die for. Seriously, it's the best bowl of soup I've ever had in my life. The crab cake pretzel bun sandwich is incredible, the lobster nachos are AMAZING, the mahi mahi burger is awesome. The food is just fantastic. Mad kudos to the chef! I will come here every single time hands down!
First time there enjoyed meeting Gus very friendly . The waiter also very helpful and friendly . The food was good the Mahi was a little dry and overcooked but really didn't want to send back and wait that's on me. I would try again the rest of the meals no complaints .
My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. The king crab legs were fantastic, and the crab cakes were some of the best I've had. Our server, Shelly, made the experience memorable. She was funny and engaging with us and we had a great time kidding around with her. Definitely recommend the Nauti Mermaid. We will be back.
Atmosphere and food was delicious but... the kitchen was backed up we ordered at 5:30 and didn't get our food until 7:00. I think if they get their kituchen organized it would be perfect. I will go again and hope it was just an isolated incident.
I would suggest people try it because the food was really good.
The service was horrible! I don't understand. There was a huge concert that night how could they not have been prepared? And it's not like they were packing them in. They turned away anyone that didn't have a reservation. I think we were there 30 min before we got our first round of drinks and over 90 minutes before we got our food. Which was very good.
Service was very lax... food was okay for me. I ordered the oysters and a side salad. My friend ordered the mango salad with chicken...looked like something I would made at home. We ordered drinks and no one ever came back to check on refills. It was not busy as all. Also had to go in and ask for plates and silverware. I will saw the hostess was very pleasant and accommodating.
Nice quiet little hole in the wall bar when you first walk in, but the most delicious seafood meals at extremely reasonable pricing. We went there for our anniversary and were not disappointed. Very casual atmosphere. My husband had their famous Lobster BLT, and was quite pleased.
Just a couple blocks from the Jack Casino so you could walk to and from.
We highly recommend it and will definitely be going back!!!
Our server was very good
The kitchen was slow getting out appetizers
Biggest disappointment and a definite No No for a seafood restaurant is OVER COOKED FISH
Both mine and my guests fish were over cooked.
I do have to say that seasoning and sauces were very good.
Ordered the grouper- not sure it really was grouper. Did not taste like any grouper I've had in the past. Definitely did not taste fresh. Others in the party were satisfied with their dinners, burger, perch and fish and chips.
Loud- too close to the bar- got louder with more drinks consumed.
