Got a to go order and they didn’t give me my sauce with it! It was truffle chicken nuggets and they forgot the truffle sauce
Good service and brunch. Coffee was especially good thanks
Great salmon dish. Wonderful service!
Always a great experience at the Milton - especially for a romantic date. The entire place is lit by candlelight at night and has a charm that makes you feel right at home. Diverse menu in prices as well as food options so everyone is sure to find something they like. My favorites are the salmon and steak.
The food was delicious! I couldn't believe the portion size of the salmon.... so good. Service was good, too. Would recommend.
The Milton is my go to place after work for a drink w friends or dinner when I don’t feel like cooking. The hamburgers and chicken sandwiches are outstanding.
The worst food and service. Manager was completely unfrofessional. H accused me of putting a hair in my “awful” wedge salad ....so I could get it for free. Awful awful.
Great place for friends to hang out. Pricey tho for Pub fare
The omelette was delicious.
The coffee is not good... They let me choose the kind of tea and the water was nice and hot.
I don't much like the bread they serve, but the salad is good and there is a lot of it. I got that instead of the potatoes.
I would go back for the atmosphere and the food is definitely good enough (if not bettter!).
This was a pleasant surprise. The food was very good, except for the cream of tomato soup, which was the best I've ever had. I would definitely return.
This was my second time at the Milton. I’m usually not a fan of cocktails in most places due to too much sugar etc. However, I really liked the Kiwi to my Heart. The food is good as well. The service is great. My first time there, I lost my earring and they held on to it and I was able to go pick it up the next day. I have also been able to hear the other person while eating there.
Went for an earlier dinner with group of 7, including 3 young kids. Service was attentive and timely. Food was delicious. No kids menu but worked to accommodate them well. A bit dark and little loud for families, but not bad.
Fantastic food, drink, and ambiance! I doubt that The Milton is always decorated like Christmas, but I so loved that it was this time around.
We had cocktails and cottage pie. Everything was tasty and our waitress was very attentive. It’s the Holidays and the decorations were quite festive.
We loved it. Good good and great service. Would definitely go back.
Such a great place with wonderful food and staff! I took a group of students there and my 8-month-old daughter and it was perfect. The staff and patrons were very baby-friendly.
Great brunch, cute atmosphere
The food was good and the ambiance was very charming. The waitress only returned once to check on us and we asked someone else for water and coffee. However the food was fresh and plentiful. We would go back again.
Food was great. Awesome comfort food at reasonable NY prices
The food was so great! I had the Cottage Pie and highly recommend this. My friends' meals looked great too. Great ambiance, food, drinks, and staff. Definitely will come back!
Way too loud
Love the warm atmosphere with the roaring fire on a chilly night. The crab salad appetizer with delicious remoulade sauce is the best! Always love coming here:)
LOVE the milton. BEST food and well pricedZ friendly staff! So cute when they decorate for the holidays.
Great cozy brunch spot! Brunch entree comes with a boozy drink- this is the only place in nyc I’ve seen do this. Will come back!
Coming here for dinner is like hanging out with your coolest friends. Everyone is so warm and the food is homey and delicious. They've switched up the menu at bit, but the favorites like cottage pie and pan roasted salmon are still there. The only thing lacking is a few more vegetarian friendly items since I have a some of those in my circle.
Food is not that good. Monday night cook may not be the regular staff. First visit. Fish and chips; fish was over cooked and rubbery fries where reheated.
Nice English place- fish and chips; meat pies; etc. Guiness beer. Tables are really close together but that's NYC. The waitress forgot about us, I had to get up at least three times to ask her for a drink, to order food... Overall okay.
The food was extremely salty and a bit overall depressing.
The drinks were excellent!
Great atmosphere, we didn’t have to wait too long for our meal. It was a particularly warm evening & we had our water topped up frequently & a fan helped provide a breeze. The meals were tasty and a good size. The waitress was helpful and friendly.
We stopped for a relaxed lunch. I ordered the mango cucumber salad with shrimp as I wasn’t terribly hungry and was curious to try something different. It was fantastic - julienned style mango and cucumbers with a lime dressing - only 2 shrimp but they were delicious and it satisfied. I was shocked how much I enjoyed it with my sangria. My son ordered the cottage pie and he loved it. My husband ordered the BLT but was disappointed that there was barely any bacon in it. We ate outside on the patio and enjoyed watching the everyday comings and goings. We will definitely return.
Party of six Stopped by for late lunch service was attentive and food was good for a bar type establishment nice beer selection and fun cocktails would def stop by again next time at night to catch that vibe
Nice pub style fare.
Problem with a staple like fish and chips is that it was way over-battered suggesting a lack of attention to preparation.
The Milton is a wonderful neighborhood place. There is lots of comfort food on the menu and it’s consistently good. Fun atmosphere, nice servers, and overall a great fun place to eat.
Was there for my brother's birthday, they let me bring in a cake, my own special birthday glassware and decorate. They went above and beyond and we're extremely accommodating and friendly!! Their chicken pot pie and old fashioned were on point as per usual. Thanks again Megan!!
From the reviews, I knew that the Milton would be good, but we were pleasantly surprised with how great it was! Everything we ordered was delicious, and the lunch menu was very reasonably priced. I went with a few family members who were in from out of town, so they loved sitting outside watching the bustling neighborhood and enjoying the sun. We especially loved all of the dipping sauces our food came with very creative flavors!
My husband and I come here about three Fridays a month as my kids go to a PJ party in the area. This past week I invited three friends to go instead and made a reservation. We were there from 5:30-7:15 and literally were ignored by our waitress for 95% of the time. We ordered drinks and 23 minutes later we did not have them. I had to hunt down another server and then had to wait even longer. We also planned to order another round of appetizers but as the waitress did not return for over twenty minutes again after ordering our second drink we had no time. She then said she would comp our second round but at this point we were so aggravated and appalled this meant very little. We likely could have had many more cocktails and much more food but the service was awful. I was quite embarrassed after my raving about the place.
The drink and food menu provides a good assortment. My only issue was the noise level coming from the bar area.
The food was incredible and definitely a really good size for their cost. The mimosas could have had a little more orange juice in them and they could do with a little more lighting.
