Large beer selection. Wine list short but adequate. I had a steak which was perfect for the price. Wife liked her trout. Will be going back.
Great service. Food pretty good, but charging $15 for a "special salad" consisting of greens, 3 fried green tomatoes, and a few vinegar-laced green tomatoes was a rip-off . . .
Anything you order here is outstanding you could order something here that you dont like normally and probably like it every cocktail I order is also so delicious
Another great meal at the Millworks! Best pizza in the misstate!!
Took my colleagues to Millworks for a business dinner. The hostess sat us at a booth which was too tight for 6 people. They reseated us quickly when I asked to be moved to a table. The food and service was fantastic, and my colleagues wanted to return the following night. It was a bit loud in the beginning but that is part of the atmosphere of the place. Great location to have a high-end meal in a trendy casual setting.
Food was amazing and service was even better!
Excellent, friendly, knowledgeable service.
I love the atmosphere and my food is always excellent!!
Traveling, We stopped by on our way through and had an absolutely wonderful dinner! Everything was perfect from the atmosphere and food to the service. We had the mushroom pizza and it was to die for delicious! Our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable about all the beers and everything else. Highly recommend this place!
The Millworks is a wonderful place for beer, food, art and gifts. Harrisburg is lucky to have such a vibrant part of town. We will return on a day when the farmers' market is on. What a great concept.
We ate here for Mother's Day and were highly impressed. The staff were all friendly, hospitable, and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The food was delicious, plentiful, perfect temperature and fresh. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that appreciates good food and polite staff!
Mother’s Day brunch
We were a party of 7. Several of us arrived at different times. The staff was very accommodating in seating us and checking in as others arrived. This is not the place to go for a quiet dinner. It is very noisy, so much so that people at one end of the table could not hear people at the other end. If you are a fan of craft beer, they have a nice selection of their own brews. There is a limited wine selection that I found to be pricey for the size of the pour. Also, larger parties beware, the restaurant will put an automatic gratuity on your bill. The restaurant website says parties of 8 or more, but they did it on our group of 7. However, our server did circle this on our bill to make sure we saw it. All in all, it is a nice place. I'd like to try it at a less crowded and thus quieter time.
My husband and I dined here this past weekend for a date night. Everything was fantastic from the food to the service to the atmosphere. We will definitely be back again. Great place for birthday dinner or special occasion.
This place had a great vibe, eclectic and modern. The Mac and cheese with pulled pork was amazing, best I've ever had. We split the Stout Cheese Fries and they went over very well. I'd recommend the Market IPA, it was delicious and refreshing. The views on the rooftop were incredible. I'd definitely recommend this as a laid back, casual spot but yet, it's also awesome as a date night.
Had a fantastic time! Wonderful cocktails and the waitress in training did a great job!
Millworks never disappoints from service to cuisine. I always take friends there when treating or meeting them. It is a Harrisburg hilight!
Use to love Millworks. Very disappointed in food this time. Stout fries were undercooked & soggy. Mushroom pizza was soggy, as well, and all the mushrooms were dumped in the center of the pizza.
Roasted Beet Salad was excellent, however.
Excellent food for an everyday lunch and was a stop before going to the movies locally
Great food, terrific service. One od might favorite places.
I really enjoy the Millworks - it is a great space with different dining options - indoor, outdoor, rooftop, etc. The food is always fresh and very innovative for the area. I highly recommend the grain bowl - it is a nice mix of grains, fresh and pickled veggies and you can add a protein. The flavors are very unique as are the different textures incorporated into the dish. The selection of wine by the glass is well rounded and they have a great beer selection, including some of their own that you can purchase and take with you. It’s always fun to go through the gallery after dinner and check out what the artists in the building are doing. It’s a spot in Harrisburg that shouldn’t be missed.
Great service. Very sad and disappointed when I find out my favorite dish was removed from the menu (white pizza). However the waitress was able to work with us and still make it for us.
We arrived early so we expected to have a drink at the bar. The drinks were good and the bar was busy, but plenty of room and the bartenders were quick to get us a drink. Because we arrived so early we decided to have a second drink and the bartender tried to take the first drink glass even though I was not finished - this happened with the server as well at our table which was quite annoying (do they use the same glass I wonder???). We were promptly seated at our reservation time - they are very good at that! The experience took a nose dive when we were seated at a wobbly table. I asked the server for something to wedge under it but she never brought it - so we used a knife. We ordered dinner and it arrived in a timely manner but was well overcooked. A rare burger was served medium well and a fried chicken sandwich was VERY burnt and VERY crispy. I understand this happens quite a bit there. Not sure if I will go back.
Food was tasty — loved the tofu taco for Cinco de Mayo! Would love to see that on the regular menu.
Wonderful meal. Service was great.
The food was good. The seating provided some privacy . My wife and I enjoyed our date night and especially the warm kale salad. She had the scallops (which she really liked) and I had the bacon cheeseburger. Overall, it was a fun evening with excellent service (provided by Jordan) and a nice bottle of wine. Nice restaurant.
Food and service here are impeccable. We loved each dish more than the last and the first dish was incredible! The chef is brilliant, charming, and gorgeous! He made us feel very special in coming by personally to wish us a happy anniversary. It was an evening that blew by every one of our expectations. From the art, to the rooftop, to the gastronomic festival for the senses, we have never been so happy going out to eat. Here here!
We stopped at Millworks during a multi day drive from Florida to Vermont, and we were so so happy to have found this place. Atmosphere, service, vibe...all spot on. The challenge we faced was what to order. Everything sounded incredible. Our waitress made excellent recommendations and we were able to try a variety of foods. Each dish offered up amazing and unusual flavors, not overdone, but really just amazing. Drink menu was also creative and delicious. Most ingredients are locally sourced, including the alcohol. We will definitely make this a regular spot on our drive back down south next year!
The food was amazing. The server was great. Every interaction was great. Could not have picked a better place for a family dinner out.
Nice break in the middle of the day.
We had an excellent time, food was delicious, waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely will be visiting again.
I ordered the trout, it was delicious!
Food and service was excellent. Will definitely go back.
Dined here for lunch on Saturday during Odd Ones with my husband and his parents. We all loved the variety of beer options. The food was really delicious and filling, especially the 16 Hour Ramen.
The food and service was absolutely amazing as always!!
Great service and great food. Heard about this place from friends and did no disappoint
Hip and cool. Our guests loved it. The food was extremely fresh, creative and healthy. Parking was free and convenient. Looking forward to a return visit.
My first reaction was that the place was huge. I was there for an early dinner but the place picked up rather quickly and was full by the time I left. The waitress was very attentive and helpful. The meal was amazing and the dessert was even better. Overall a great experience - I'll definitely go back.
For a restaurant to be outstanding there is little room for missteps, that wrong wine at your table, the slow seating and a meal that was just warm and not quite done. In general it was good and l would be glad to return, but for it to be outstanding the restaurant has a little distance to go.
