The quality of the food was great as was the flavor of the ahi tuna and short ribs. $8 for 4 pimento cheese ball apps is pricy. There was a hair embedded in one of the tuna dishes. We did not tell server as dishes took 25 minutes and my guest was gracious, really hungry and "let it go". For this reason, I may not be back.

A bit loud. We ask for a booth and I don't think the seating in the bar was what we had in mind. Food was good, but service was slow.

Most everything was wonderful. However, to characterize the noise level as "energetic is a bad joke. It was so noisy in the room facing Marietta Highway, that I could not find a reason to suggest to anyone that they go to this otherwise really fine restaurant.

We had dinner there to celebrate Mother's Day belatedly. We each tried something different and loved the trout, short ribs and scallops. The shrimp and grits were also very good as were the beer and wine selections. Our server was friendly, helpful, and attentive without being aggressive. We loved everything!

Great Mother's Day brunch. Excellent service. Easy valet parking. Good food. No waiting! Great selection on buffet. Would recommend.

My daughter and husband took me for Mother’s Day Brunch. We went at 2:15. Food tasted as if it had been out too long on the buffet, dry, over cooked due to heating lamps underneath, desserts were dry and cold in some cases (brownies and cake did not taste fresh or homemade). Had to wait on some additional food to come out, ie, fried chicken which was dry; not good at all. Some foods were gone. Paid 36.75 per person + an automatic 20% gratuity ( given that this was a buffet, and a party of only 3, I don’t know why we didn’t have option on how much tip to leave). I was very disappointed, especially since I had heard that the Mill would be a great experience. Very overpriced given the food we received AND we had to fight off flies😞. This was my first and last visit.

We went for mother's day brunch and unfortunately it was disappointing. We arrived at 12:45pm and the quality of the food on the buffet was not what we would have expected. The food was picked over and some of the food just needed to be refreshed. The eggs were hard and dry and overcooked. The bacon was sitting in its grease and was inedible. The salad was at the front of the buffet, near the open area where it was the hottest, and it was picked over and again, this needed to be refreshed. The smoked salmon was very good and the salmon with dill was very good. My mom had a half of a bagel and that was stale. In total for 3 people, with gratuity the bill was $141. I feel that is just staggering for the quality of food that was available. The servers were very pleasant and attentive.

Was unaware of the brunch buffet being the only option when I made reservations. It was very expensive for what we wanted and if I had known price and that buffet was only option I would have made another selection

We went for Mother's Day brunch. The food variety was good for the brunch. I would have rather just ordered off the menu as their weekend breakfast menu is great. The cost for the brunch didn't provide the value I was hoping for.
The service was just ok as the server seemed distracted. She didn't provide us with a description of the brunch buffet...which would have been nice since the food options were in several different areas of the restaurant. She also got our drink order wrong.
The Mill is an excellent restaurant, and we have been there several times. Next time we will go for the regular menu.

Not only was the food delicious, but the staff was amazing and accommodated our large party on the patio for Brunch. We were celebrating a special occasion and wanted the experience to be as well. The Mill exceeded our expectations as did our server John who was terrific.

The food was really delicious and a nice presentation. The menu however did not give an adequately accurate description of what to expect. Thus, I was pleasantly surprised and pleased.

We were going to the theater. The restaurant was extremely noisy. Only a brunch menu was offered as there was no regular menu as an option. Our server was a very polite, knowledgeable person but he disappeared for long periods at a time. There were three of us and we all agreed that we would not return to this restaurant.

This review could have been pretty poor but thankfully the management at the Mill knew they needed to step in. Initially it seemed that our server was overwhelmed with a party at the back of the venue. It took over 35 minutes just to place a drink order which is pretty unacceptable at any type of establishment. Our server did not have much focus as she did not place our appetizer order correctly at all and honestly I wasn't sure if we were much of a priority. I'm guessing she had a much bigger table than the four of us.

Somehow management (Rebekah) caught wind of this and quickly approached us and gave us a complementary appetizer and round of drinks. We were then taken care of the rest of the night by the asst manager (whose name I forgot but was very nice at attentive) after we placed our main entree orders.

The flight of beers is a great option at a good price if you want to sample different drafts.
The pimento cheese fritters might be one of the better appetizers in metro Atlanta. It came with bacon jam and another sauce but frankly it wasn't needed. When you fry cheesy based items, typically it comes out either too runny or overdone. The fritters were exceptionally done. I'd eat them weekly if I had to.

The fried chicken exceeded my expectations. Outside of some of the breading falling apart, the chicken was very moist and easy to eat. You def needed a knife to cut it but the portions were large. Swapping to brussel sprouts was a great choice and the mashed potatoes were also good. The noise level here is pretty loud. It's a fun place but not for that quiet romantic dinner for 2.

My wife seemed to like her scallops as she finished her plate as well.

The venue was a bit mobbed on Saturday evening and had some issues with the valet parking (not enough room). This was our first time here and part of me will chalk this up to a Saturday night with great weather for the first time in weeks! We will come back but perhaps on a weeknight.

The food was excellent. 2 people had the short ribs and were very pleased with one exception, the roasted Brussel Sprouts were tasty but a bit underdone. The Shrimp & Lobster bisque is wonderful and the Ahi Tuna dinner was fantastic! Overall, great place.

Always a great place to meet local friends for a weekend lunch and to catch up. We sat on the patio because it was a gorgeous day but had to relocate because a nearby table with six-eight (yep) children including a miserable toddler was making the entire patio equally miserable. Food good, a good value, a personable and cheerful waitress and an otherwise beautiful day!

Now that they've expanded their dining space into an adjoining retail space that vacated, there is much more seating than there used to be, and the ambiance is much better. The food is always good (especially the short ribs!), but the menu is a bit limited, and pricey. Their patio is great for dining outside, and the cocktails are well made.

This really is a nice place. I would have been happier if I could have had a conversation , without screaming, with my table mate. The solo entertainment guy was so loud, I could hardly think and we were some distance away. He was very good, but I think some people just left because of the noise as well. Music should be background....this was not a concert.

Food was good, although I still think $17 for a hamburger and fries is way way to $$.

Their patio area is just lovely, but again, if we had had a table out there my ears would still be ringing.

Slow drink service!
15-20 minute wait to get a beer at the table! Order volume at 700 pm but not enough bar staff to expedite drink orders! Not really concerned either!

Our server was attentive and everyone enjoyed their food. The menu had a lot of variety. They were accommodating for my kids. Children's menu had classics and some more original items and the portions were enough for 2 meals for my younger children (5 & 8).

I have mixed emotions. My waitress was awesome in the beginning. Then as soon as we got our dinner I think she forgot about us. She finally came over after we were done for quite a bit and I was trying to complain about the dish, lobster mac n cheese was spicy when no spice was mentioned in the menu. She apologized, and asked if I'd like to get a to go of the correct macaroni and I accepted. I ate it next day and was just noodles and cheese, no lobster to be found. They gave us a free dessert for it being our anniversary. After that she brought my mac n cheese out and we were ready for the check. She disappeared for at least 10-15 minutes and no check. She passed us and I had to ask her for it and finally got it another 5 minutes later. A dinner that should have taken 1hr-1.5 hrs lasted over 2 hours, more waiting time than actua eatting. The food was good, minus the spicy mac n cheese. Service not so great. Everyone has a rough day, I assume that was the deal.

We had our wedding service here two years ago today and thought we'd come back to celebrate our anniversary. The fried chicken which was moist and a hit at our wedding dinner was tough and dry. My wife ordered sushi and the rice was unrecognizable. I guess when the economy is booming standards fall. Sadly we agreed we won't be back.

The Mill was a great experience. From the time we arrived until we left everyone felt welcomed. Our waiter was extremely experienced and made the night very enjoyable. The bourbon menu was varied and unique. It was hard choosing between the bison and the lamb and chose the bison which was prepared perfectly. Recommend The Mill Kitchen highly.
