Absolutely wonderful restaurant find for lunch/patio dining. Incredibly personable and professional staff(Kaylin in particular). Just an absolutely phenomenal establishment.
The food was unique and excellent! Every bite was delicious! The service was excellent as well!
Overpriced drinks ($14 for a mimosa!) and the poached eggs on eggs Benedict were cooked all the way through.
We arrived at 11:30Am on a Sunday for brunch, the atmosphere and food were good and come out very quickly.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch today. We had a fried green tomato BLT, grilled chicken sandwich, and a chicken salad sandwich. They all were cooked perfectly. Our server, Chris, was energetic, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu items and beer/wine selections. Would recommend dining here.
Mill Kitchen and Bar is consistently good. We’ve noticed that there appears to be very little turnover in the staff, which translates to good management. Don’t miss the shrimp salad with the citrus dressing, the chicken sandwich with the in-house pickles, and the watermelon beet salad. We are working our way through the entire menu and give everything an A+ so far.
I think we just had an off afternoon. We were seated in a room that was barn-like even though the whole restaurant was sparsely populated. I would have preferred another area but my husband was okay with our table. Our waitress was okay but not great We have come to The Mill on numerous occasions and have always been happy. It may be a while before we go back but we will go back.
5 Stars! Vinny did a great job of taking care of us!
Family brunch. Great service. Worked with us for some minor tweaks on a few dishes to suit individual needs/ Everyone complemented the food ( although I would prefer shredded hash browns to home fries with eggs) and the biscuits and grave were gobbled up by the guys. Two cinnamon buns made their way home for a football Sunday treat!
Food was excellent, loved the live music. And wine bottles were reasonably priced
Meal was okay. Server was good.
They force you to valet park... do not understand why. Tried to park on the street but they block the back entrance to make that possible!!
Harrison was an excellent service provider for my daughter’s best friend wedding shower. Excellent occasion in all aspects
Abbey and Harrison found they both have business law class at KSU.
Birthday party on the patio!
Wide range of items on the menu and everything tasted fresh! Prices were a bit high for the location and for what you got. Felt like NyC prices!
A loud group next to us was not the best experience and once they left the remainder of the meal was greatly.
Very good Southern fare.
With a reservation - terrific food and drinks. Entertained out of towners.
Delicious food and wonderful service!
My Wife and I had our 50th Wedding Anniversary Luncheon at The Mill Kitchen and they went out of their way to accommodate us. My Wife wanted a Salmon BLT which use to be on the menu, and they prepared it for her and it was perfect! In addition, they brought out a complimentary dessert for the special occasion that was really delicious......Great Food, Great Service, Great Atmosphere
Menu was great. Had a hard time deciding what to order, because everything sounded yummy! A little pricey, which means it’s a splurge, not everyday. Service was a little off, but maybe our server was just having a bad day. Will definitely go back!
Delicious food and excellent service!!!! I highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food and ambiance!
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was aesthetically pleasing. The only downside was that it was difficult to carry on a conversation because of the acoustics.
We really enjoyed the experience.
Wonderfully fresh, incredibly delicious meal, excellent service and great atmosphere.
Our "Go To" in the Neighborhood for Special Occasions
We go here for many of our special occasions because the food, service and ambiance are great! Last night, Vince raised the bar on service. His winning smile and a warm, empathetic personality - on top of knowing just what to do - made this special occasion even more special! They need to hang on to this young man!
Food was wonderful with great presentation. Would dine there again, absolutely.
First time here and we loved it! We are definitely come back to The Mill Kitchen and Bar
ONLY demerit for our meal was the horrific noise level. No matter how good the food, it's not a dining experience when you have to shout at even the person sitting next to you. Sad that this aspect cancels the excellent food and service. We won't be back.
While we all enjoyed our dinner, the room was so noisy we could not hear each other from across the table. Just way to noisy to really enjoy such a nice dinner.
We were in the back room behind the bar............
We celebrated my wore’s Birthday and I must say we were pleasantly greeted with exceptional service and hospitality. Spoke with the Exec Chef about the menu and recipes as well. The food is on another level. Anyone who doesn’t love it should question themselves afterwards.
The food was good but the place was so noisy it was difficult to carry on a conversation. Not sure I would recommend. Might if table was outside.
The restaurant was beautiful, nice and spacious. The service was great and the food was delicious. Blackened Brie, short ribs, and the peach hand pie. All delicious. I will definitely go back again
*Pimento Cheese fritters. Enough said.***
Food and service was excellent but a little pricey.
We had a wonderful mother daughter brunch for our college bound girls and our server, Robin, was wonderful! we were also able to enjoy and contribute to an epilepsy fundraiser that The Mill was offering that particular day. Lovely environment and delicious food. Perfect for a weekend lunch or brunch! (One thing to note, I did not read carefully and brunch menu only offered on Sundays. It was no problem for us, lunch was delicious but just to note.)
Ate lunch inside due to heat (patio did look nice though). It was very noisy even though the room was less than half full. Hard to have a conversation. My salmon was undercooked in the center (not flaky) and then they charged me $3 more than the menu stated. Asked for bread and eventually it showed up with the statement that they don’t normally serve bread at lunch! Had to special request salt and pepper as well - not provided on the table. Beet and watermelon salad was presented nicely but the watermelon was almost flavorless.
All the food was very tasty except for the vegetable dish. Pretty bland, no sauce, faro needed flavoring. Everything else was excellent.
Excellent food and service, great for special occasions
