We celebrated my wore’s Birthday and I must say we were pleasantly greeted with exceptional service and hospitality. Spoke with the Exec Chef about the menu and recipes as well. The food is on another level. Anyone who doesn’t love it should question themselves afterwards.
The restaurant was beautiful, nice and spacious. The service was great and the food was delicious. Blackened Brie, short ribs, and the peach hand pie. All delicious. I will definitely go back again
*Pimento Cheese fritters. Enough said.***
Food and service was excellent but a little pricey.
We had a wonderful mother daughter brunch for our college bound girls and our server, Robin, was wonderful! we were also able to enjoy and contribute to an epilepsy fundraiser that The Mill was offering that particular day. Lovely environment and delicious food. Perfect for a weekend lunch or brunch! (One thing to note, I did not read carefully and brunch menu only offered on Sundays. It was no problem for us, lunch was delicious but just to note.)
Ate lunch inside due to heat (patio did look nice though). It was very noisy even though the room was less than half full. Hard to have a conversation. My salmon was undercooked in the center (not flaky) and then they charged me $3 more than the menu stated. Asked for bread and eventually it showed up with the statement that they don’t normally serve bread at lunch! Had to special request salt and pepper as well - not provided on the table. Beet and watermelon salad was presented nicely but the watermelon was almost flavorless.
All the food was very tasty except for the vegetable dish. Pretty bland, no sauce, faro needed flavoring. Everything else was excellent.
Excellent food and service, great for special occasions
Outstanding dinner with a terrific server, wonderful food and drinks. Thank you.
Food was very good. Server was slow and inattentive.
This amazing restaurant is our favorite place to eat! Even my 2 girls, both under 7, love it here. The kids menu offers many options and all items are delicious, hand made, fresh as never frozen. The adult menu options are absolutely delicious every single time. The food is also always fresh, well thought out and the portions are large enough to share. The brilliant chef can also mix and match plates for desire and or specials dietary restrictions. The drink menu is wonderful and the fully stocked bar with talented bartenders can make any drink a reality. The entire service staff is top notch. The servers, head chef and manager check all parties frequently to ensure all guests are well taken care of.
The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. It is warm, inviting and has many different stone, wood and other textures. Think Joanna Gaines :) The indoor bar is fun, has many tv’s and tables for dining surrounding it. There are separate dining areas throughout the restaurant that are comfortable and offer different table sizes to accommodate all party sizes. The outdoor patio is beautifully lit up, has wood beams for overhead cover and protection from the sun. There is also a wood burning fireplace perfect for year round dining. In addition to the outdoor dining tables available, you will find couches and tables available for lounging, having a cocktail, eating and enjoying the outdoors.
We have 100% of the time left extremely happy with our entire dining experience. We’ve eaten both the Sunday breakfast buffet often and have had many dinners here. We’ve even celebrated several special occasions here. We highly recommend!!
Excellent experience. Great atmosphere and the food and service was exceptional!
The food was outstanding. Spinach salad and fried chicken for my entrée. Great bourbon selection. A little noisy. We should have requested a seat outside on the patio. Surpassed my expectations. Would go back again.
Wonderful menu. Waiters were very attentive. Food delicious. We had short ribs and shrimp and grits. Appetizer was pimento fritter. Didn't get dessert but saw some fabulous looking ones zy Zaza ,
The experience was good. We sat outside on the patio. The server was attentive, but had several tables inside. Very good service.
Great food, great ambiance. Our server was very knowledgeable and made some excellent recommendations. We will be back!
We had a 1:15 Sunday brunch reservation for 2. The food and bottomless mimosas were GREAT! The service however was quite slow - it took probably 7-8 minutes for someone to intro themselves to us after we were seated by the hostess, and a lot of time passed between each time she checked to see if we were 'doing ok'. A couple of times, we had to ask someone who was not our server, to grab our server. There were many empty tables where we were sitting...perhaps she was busy on the other side of the restaurant too. All in all, I would definitely recommend.
We were there during brunch so it was busy and very loud. Otherwise the food was great especially the fried green tomatoes. Generous portions without being overwhelming.
Good service considering how busy it was. All the staff were very friendly and had a great attitude. I just wish it wasn't as loud in the dining room I was in.
Celebrate a job promotion
We celebrated a couple birthdays on the patio of this great Roswell restaurant. Our server, Vincent, was absolutely great as he helped one of the people in our party with dietary restrictions craft a custom meal from the kitchen. The food is always great and their beer and cocktail menu satisfies everyone. We celebrated a couple birthdays and they were kind enough to bring out free dessert. We'll definitely be back.
This was our first time dining at The Mill. We took the advice of many reviews and started with the pimento cheese fritters. Delish! Rich and creamy with such a crunchy crust. The bacon marmalade and sauce drizzle were the perfect accompaniments. I had the shrimp and grits, which was just amazing. My husband had the fried chicken dinner- crunchy crust, moist chicken, super homestyle. We will definitely dine here again.
We had a great dinner with family! Grabbed some amazing steaks and salads. They make a great Old Fashioned as well. Fun atmosphere in nice setting in Roswell.
Excellent atmosphere. Chad is so great. Perfect drinks and gave good food recommendations.
Everything my wife and I ordered was delicious. The food our 9yo son ordered, though, was rather subpar. Grilled cheese sandwich was over done and too crunchy. So were the fries. Overall, I would definitely return, but probably just with my wife.
Brunch with the family. The service was good and we always enjoy the ambience. However, I had the Georgia Benedict and it was under seasoned for my taste. My wife had the Avocado Toast and the egg was under cooked. I’m being picky as I would still recommend this restaurant and overall we enjoyed our meal.
Very noisy but I like the atmosphere and the place is simply beautiful. The food and cocktails were good. A little pricey I think. Service wasn't great they were overwhelmed packed and understaffed - however chef/manager went above and beyond with his customer service I was impressed!
Excellent Food! Would highly recommend to anyone for a special occasion.
Hair in salad; slow service; excellent food.
The food was okay. The chicken that comes with the waffles was overcooked and not very well seasoned. No one in the group loved the meal that they ordered, so the experience was ok.
Went for brunch on Sunday and had slow service relative to how busy it was. The food was excellent and the service was accurate. It would have been nice to have a little less time between check-ins.
Everything was fantastic. The food, the atmosphere and the service.
The menu had recently been updated with several unique choices. We enjoyed the herb crusted elk, almond crusted cobia, scallops and shrimp scampie. Other restaurants in Atlanta do a better job with fried chicken, so suggest skipping it.
We hoped to enjoy a nice meal, chatting with extends family. However, this was difficult. A drummer played throughout the evening, just a drummer. He may be a fine musician, but he did not add to ambiance, just noise. In addition, the table next to us played peek a boo with their toddler, mom throwing a blanket over its head to hear it scream....through the whole meal. All made it difficult to enjoy the meal or conversation.
The food was okay but way overpriced! When spending that much you don’t expect the noise level to be so ridiculous that you can not talk to people at your table. Are they are bar/ hangout or nice restaurant? They need to choose.
We had a team dinner, and our Server was SO Fantastic. All of the food and drinks were outstanding. Thank you or a great dinner.
It was not our best meal or experience as it was very loud, part of my husbands order was wrong and the side croissant I ordered was cold. We’ve had excellent meals there before and even had our rehearsal dinner there before our wedding last year.
It was extremely noisy as we were sat between several large parties and it just wasn’t a great Sunday brunch experience.
First time at The Mill and thoroughly enjoyed it. Made reservation through Open Table and was seated promptly upon arrival. Attentive service throughout the meal by pleasant waiter. Food was outstanding.. from appetizers to dessert! The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting. Cannot wait to return!
We would highly recommend The Mill Kitchen. Everyone was so friendly and the food was both unique and savory! We especially enjoyed the impromptu show by the Bartender who was making a Smoked Old Fashion....very interesting combination of Mixoloy and Pyrotechnics. We also had a very nice chat with the Valet.
Good environment. Good food!
We were seated in a quiet area that was far enough away from the "lively" bar area, which was lovely. We almost had the dining area to ourselves. Our server was attentive and was very sweet to bring out a birthday dessert complete with candles for my mother in law. This was not our first visit to the Mill, and it definitely won't be our last. We've never had a bad experience. Definitely recommend.
