   Food was acceptable but indistinguishable. Portions were on the smaller end. I’ve had better meals for the money.

   Great atmosphere and wonderful staff! The Mother’s Day prix fixe wasn’t what I was expecting. The food was a bit subpar and most of it came out lukewarm. For the restaurant to be mostly empty, I was surprised that the food wasn’t prepared hot and fresh. Overall, service was great and we did enjoy our time there but probably wouldn’t go back for a special event where options were limited/restricted.

   Mother’s Day prefix lunch was delicious. We were a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed all of their courses. I was nervous about ordering the gluten free carrot cake but the server said if I didn’t like it I could get something else. It was delicious though it was topped with whipped cream instead of cream cheese frosting as described on the menu but enjoyed it all the same. Friendly service with other servers pitching in to assist which always tells me management encourages team work, best of customers.

   The Sunday brunch food was marginal. We didn’t have a lot of choices and the food was way over priced for a meal that was ok but not very good. We paid over $200 for two people to have eggs, no alcohol or juice. The eggs were dry and scrambled and the coffee was horrible. For the price, I expected a better meal. The service was great and we sat outside. Lots of kids and people brought their dogs.

   We had 7:15 PM dinner reservations for my 85 YO mother and I. We were seated outside right away. However, we waited for about 15 minutes before our server acknowledged us and brought us water. When he finally greeted us, he was over the top friendly which was annoying- trying to make up for his delay. We ordered an appetizer of sourdough bread and truffle butter, while over priced at $13.00, it was good. My mother ordered a basic Cesar salad and I ordered Arugula Salad with pickled peaches (3 tiny peaches- really? it’s Georgia!). and goat cheese. It was good, but underwhelming. After 30 minutes, as others were receiving their salmons and burgers, our server came back to say the kitchen forgot to pull our salad order. Once the salads arrived, he never came back to check on us or refill water. As he brought our check, he once again was super friendly, thanking us for letting him recommend the Cabernet for my mother. Seriously? Ugh. He should have comp’d the bread or wine for the extended wait, or offered a free dessert. But no. We liked the atmosphere, but won’t be returning, especially due to terrible service by our server.

   Everything was excellent, as usual - which is why it's our go-to for special occasions like the two birthdays we celebrated last night!

    Great little restaurant. I had been wanting to go there on several occasions and finally did. Everything from soups to main entrees were great. Parking can be tricky because of the location, however.
