Staff was incredibly nice and went there for Valentine’s Day so that may have been part of the issue. Had a NY strip and the Venison steak. The steak was medium but was just not good beans and gravy were excellent but if your known for steak...The Venison was okay but had no seasoning whatsoever and was very bland. Brussels sprouts were over cooked not good. Sautéd mushrooms were cooked in a wine sauce and excellent. Food was not bad just not up to the quality of the price.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a brunch spot in Roswell and came across this location. I made reservations at 2:15 and arrived 5 min early. Once the hostess pulled up our reservation, we were seated right away. However, it took 15 minutes of waiting and my boyfriend having to get up to go talk to the hostess for us to be acknowledged by a server. After the server came to our table we put in the order and waited another 15 minutes for our food (which is typical). Once our food came out, we probably saw our server twice, didn’t check up on water refills and it took almost 30 min for her to notice that we were ready to pay. With this said, I will not be returning. I was very disappointed.

I had eaten both lunch and breakfast here with mixed experiences (lunch good but flavors not quite living up to expectations/ brunch wonderful with beautiful outdoor patio setting) so was not sure what to expect for dinner. I was overwhelmingly pleased! Our server, Carla was excellent with a very cheerful and accommodating demeanor. 2 couples from our party ordered salads to be shared. Without us asking, the kitchen divided them equally prior to serving and even included what I suspect was an extra egg with the spinach salad so we could both enjoy the full experience. Mine was delicious and consensus was the same for Cesar and beet salads; the only suggestion being that the beet salad should have more beets to live up to its name. We ordered a variety of dishes ranging from pork shoulder to venison to seafood and everyone agreed theirs was delicious. My grouper had a beautiful crust and flavor but was slightly under-cooked. My husband’s requests for well-done steak and substitution of side items were cheerfully met. We brought our own birthday cake- it was happily cut and served with the offer to take a photo of the table when it was presented. I will definitely be going back again.

We sat in a corner booth in the bar room - pleasantly quiet (for my friend who wears a hearing aid) and cozy. We started with the brie appetizer and recommend it. We had the trout entree which was excellent, particularly the sauce. We missed a starch and asked for a side of mashed potatoes. Rice would have been a good addition too. The service was excellent. Responsive but not hovering. I will definitely return.

As always, enjoyed the amazing food and ambience. Had the scallops and grouper tonight. Both had such wonderful flavor and cooked to perfection. There are some new items on the menu. The fried pickle appetizer is great, but too much for a couple. Would be ideal for 4 people. Recommended they offer half and full options. Overall great experience.

Our server Vincent was amazing for a large group, beautiful quaint setting. Menu so vast you can’t choose. Portions generous. Amazing quality ingredients for foodies. My fav brunch items- Short rib skillet, chicken and waffles. Dinner fav is short ribs. We always go to this restaurant when in Atlanta and I travel to the best restaurants in the world. Roswell GA is so lucky to have this great restaurant in their community. The owner is a down to earth, hard working, honest guy as well. Nice to see a good guy succeed.

The service was spotty. Our salads came immediately after our appetizer so the table was crowded. We had to ask to see a dessert menu. Once the restaurant got very busy, service was not good. The food was good but not excellent. However, we will go again.

Barrington room was very noisy and made it difficult to hold conversation. It was like a sauna in there, very warm even though it was February.
Steak was over cooked. Waiter was fair, didn't interact, not real friendly and left us alone for long periods of time. Asked for salt and pepper. Took forever to get it. When I made reservation mentioned there was a birthday in the group. Hostess mentioned it when we arrived. We ordered dessert and when we mentioned that there was a birthday the response we got from person who brought it out was "I don't have a good singing voice". Meanwhile another table in the room was celebrating a birthday and they had 3-4 wait staff singing happy birthday. Overall very disappointing.

Always good service and great food! Our steaks came out perfectly cooked for each of our preferences. Everyone can find something wonderful to eat here whether you're vegetarian or Gluten-Free; the staff is very knowledgeable about the ingredients in their dishes and were happy to make recommendations.

The food was only mediocre; all four persons in my party made similar remarks to the effect that the taste of the food was uninspired. Our server was excellent but he did not ensure we had proper silverware before we were seated and he did not check the quality of the food before it was presented. I found the price to be fair for the quality we received but it was considerably less than I had anticipated.

Loved the friendly atmosphere and great wait staff. They were very gracious and attentive. I observed that the manager were very involved with the attention to the the quests. Taking the time to greet and converse with diners. Very impressed with the food. The grouper was exceptional.....better than some I have had at the beach. Would highly recommend the Mill for a relaxing comfortable evening.

The food was alright . My fried chicken was not very seasoned , but you are considered a Southern restaurant. I liked my husband grouper which I ate half of his food since mine was not that great. We did buy the lobster mac & chz and that was underwhelming also . We were hoping for some magic in our mouth from the cheesy goodness, but it was lacking . Not really seasoned , plus just lightly touched with cheese sauce. Disappointing...

The Mill Kitchen and Bar is a great place for lunch and dinner esp. if it's nice out and you can sit on the patio with the open fireplace. It can accommodate more dinners as they purchased the vacant upstairs room to the north of the bar and it is a hopping place.

My daughter and I went for brunch with friends. It was very busy so service was slow and not smooth. That happens. Not upset. Food however was subpar. No seasoning on the potatoes. Over easy eggs bland. Grits ok. Nothing superb and I don’t need to try it. again.
