The food and the service was wonderful. Unfortunately the noise was so bad that we asked to be moved to a different location. The staff was very accommodating but even then it was too loud to enjoy our meal
Love this restaurant!! Such a great place for so many occasions, the food and drinks are always a 10!
It’s a great experience, we go there anytime we’re in the area.
I LOVE The Mill for outdoor dining. The patio area has umbrella tables and comfortable chairs, so on the days when the weather is fine, this is a great outdoor dining venue. In the summer, it's usually too hot to eat lunch outside, so we go inside, but the the noise level is pretty high, so be prepared for speaking loudly. That doesn't affect the food, which I also love. We had the Mill Cobb salad and the chicken salad sandwich. The salad was so crisp and fresh, with a delicious grilled chicken breast, creamy but firm avocado, heirloom cherry tomatoes, and a great mix of lettuces...the bacon was probably wonderful, but I decided to cut calories, so ordered without. The sandwich comes on a a flaky croissant with has just the right amount of mayonnaise and a choice of sides...from homemade sweet potato fries to a side salad. The special of the day was a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup, my personal favorite lunch of all time, but since it was a Tuesday, decided to start off the week with a lighter option. A glass of chilled rosé was a great accompaniment and the service was perfect!
Noise level was extremely high! Not easy to have a quiet conversation...have to almost yell to have a conversation . This , probably, depends on how busy they are.
we were very disappointed. Everything we ordered from our food to our coffee came out wrong . we will not go backk
Great food. The pimento cheese fritters are to die for. Crab cakes were excellent and the succotash which they sat on exceeded my expectations.
I mostly enjoyed my meal and I think my friends did as well. One had a burger and the other shrimp and grits. I had a pork chop with kale and potatoes which was the daily special. Potatoes were some of the most amazing and delicious that I've ever tasted. The chop was a bit overcooked (not enough to send back tho) and the kale portion seemed skimpy. They weren't crowded so we were able to hear each other and hang out without feeling guilty of hogging the table. Good night out.
Didn’t have a dedicated server or someone who really looked after our table. Very odd, constantly has to flag folks down for requests.
The restaurant and food were overall fine. However, I went there for an early evening meal on a Sunday and they were out of the food item I wanted. Somewhat disappointing. Wouldn't have expected a restaurant of that caliber to be out of food items (with a menu that doesn't have a ton of options) at that early time in the evening. Made for a less enjoyable experience unfortunately.
I came for a girls brunch and we had a blast. The food was awesome and our server was fantastic as well! We will definitely be back!
Birthday .......Waiter never really check back with us during the meal to see how things were going, forgot to subtract my birthday coupon from the bill, coffee was good but lukewarm and I was never asked for a refill.
Great server and the good is all local sourced. I enjoyed knowing what farms all of the food came from.
Service was a bit spotty
It was just two of us and they placed us at a table near the bar where it was loud without letting us know that.
The Mill never dissapoints. Excellent food, service and atmosphere.
Better than we were expecting. We will be back. Our server was very friendly and helpful
We had a Great meal there would recommend to everyone🤙
Yuck. Raw scrambled eggs, slow to acknowledge we were there, slow being served, slow to bring the check.
We will never go there again.
A last minute breakfast turned out to be a total joy! I had the Cajun omlet --- andouille was more smokey than hot; tasso nice --- all of the flavours we well blended! My husband had the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict. His was yummy too; but I was bit disappointed as they touted this had Old Bay Seasoning and I barely could taste that. I am sure if we had asked, our server would have brought us more. She was sweet and mindful. The outdoor patio was a bonus because it was a beautiful Sunday!
The food was excellent. There was one extremely loud table nearby, which made it difficult to have a conversation and enjoy our meals. Forcing patrons to use valet parking when it’s completely unnecessary seems a bit much, especially when the food is a bit overpriced as it is.
From waitstaff to food, everything was superb! We will be back!
This was my first time at The Mill, we had a large group for a birthday dinner. It was a big hit, the scallops and risotto were amazing as were the fried pickles and lobster Mac n Cheese. Most people in our group agreed, possibly one of the best dining experiences in Atlanta!
Our server was so nice. I am embarrassed that I do not remember her name (maybe Carla). We sat on the sun porch (on Tuesday - July 17th) and she had reddish hair that was in a ponytail. She has beautiful skin and I remarked about it. She was very sweet and an asset to your business.
Food was amazing, service not so much. I had a great first experience and wanted to return, but the service was pretty close to bad and even though we had to keep asking for our server no one seemed to care.
There was no manager visible to speak to
We had a wonderful girls brunch to help my friend celebrate the upcoming birth of her baby. Thanks for great service and fabulous food.
Great place for lunch. Solid selection of thoughtfully-prepared southern food.
Was very nice. Bugs (flies, mosquitos) on patio made outdoor dinner unbearable. SUPER nice staff, but service was maybe a tad bit slow.
The Mill Kitchen and Bar offers a focused menu utilizing locally sourced ingredients. Consequently, the food is exceptionally fresh. The Shrimp and Grits is a consistent delight and the Pimiento Cheese Tavern Burger is a substantial meal - and delicious, too!
Great service and the best..Love the Shrimp and Grits!
Seated at a dirty table. Asked for a cloth to clean as staff stood by and watched me clean the table. Waitress forgot to bring the salads. Never offered coffee or dessert. Very poor service. Had previous good experience...but doubt I will return.
The tables are dirty and very sticky. They need to place a tablecloth on them or get them refinished.
Been here many, many times - never disappointed. Great cocktails, interesting menu with many choices, fresh everything and just plain good quality all around.
The food, service and ambience were great. The manager Rebecca was very charming and warm. Our server Carley so very professional and nice. My new favorite restaurant.
Great waiter and food and drinks were top notch. Our first time there. We’ll be back.
Fish tacos are amazing!! Loved the restaurant. Nice menu variety.
My family and I went here for my birthday. We had Sunday brunch. The staff was friendly and seated us based on our reservation. The hostess sat us near the window. Great view, but too many flies. I was not going to enjoy my food with flies buzzing around. Our server Brooke sat us at another table with no hesitation. It was better. The brunch menu has many creative cuisines on there. And what my family and I ordered was absolutely delicious. My husband had gotten the manager Rebecca, and some of the other servers to surprise me with dessert and bring in my birthday gifts. It was great! Yes, I had a wonderful time and I will certainly be visiting again real soon.
Food, service and ambiance were great. Burgers are huge!
My wife and I decided to celebrate our 33rd anniversary at the Mill since we have enjoyed our past experiences there and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely wonderful and the service was just perfect. Our server, Brooke was not only good - she was marvelous. Her knowledge of the menu, her ability to communicate clearly, her attentiveness to our every need, her friendly nature - all made for such an enjoyable time while we were dining. We found out from the manager that Brooke was a very new addition to their wait staff and I must say that it reflects very well on them from the service we received that The Mill is a place where you will get nothing but the best - excellent service, excellent food, excellent hospitality, all in an excellent atmosphere. Our fresh, farm-to-table meals were very well presented and so delicious, and after dinner we were treated to a complimentary dessert to top off the celebration of our special day which really made for a nice touch! So if you are looking for a wonderful place to celebrate your special day - book a reservation at the Mill and ask for Brooke to be your server. You won't be disappointed!!!!!
Good food, but few menu choices at lunch that were affordable. Website has lunch items that were not on menu. Not a good value. Not enough salads and sandwiches for lunch
