The food for the meal was great. The dessert was huge but not good. It was hard and tasteless. I would typically never leave chocolate cake uneaten. The waitress probably should have asked why so much was left considering we were sharing it. Great overall restaurant, suggest upgrading the desserts.

Made a reservation for a birthday and was sat next to a table of about 20 very loud guests. The server was obviously bothered by the noise and said repeatedly “I can’t hear you..”, while taking our order. Not, “pardon me, or excuse me could you repeat that...”. Also, there was about a twenty minute delay between requesting desert menus and the waiter returning to take our order, so we went elsewhere. Very disappointing as we’ve had very good experiences and celebrations in the past. I think next time we’ll try some place else.

I have been to the The Mill several times and the food is always delicious. One of my favorite things to get is the pimento cheese fritters. They are so yummy! There is something for everyone and they have a nice kids menu with great options. They have nice cocktail options too. They make a mean Old Fashioned if you like that. It's a great place, always yummy which is why I keep coming back.

The food was great and the staff was outstanding!

First, my 5 year old really wanted to eat fish for his meal, but it wasn’t on the kids meal. As an alternative, the server (John) spoke to the chef about the situation who then grilled a piece of salmon just for him. He loved it!

Second, my wife ordered a glass of wine. Naturally, they were out of it but unlike pretty much every other restaurant we’ve been to, they said, “choose any other glass of wine that’s more expensive than the one you chose and we’ll charge the same price.” Nobody else has ever done that for us!

Lastly, our server mistakenly threw out our leftover entrees instead of packing it up to go. To fix this honest mistake, the chef remade both mine and my wife’s dinners and wrapped it up to go at no additional charge. Both John(server) and the manager were very sincerely apologetic. That was very kind of them.

Although we had a couple of hiccups in the dinner, the experience was extraordinary and we will go back again soon!

We had the fritters to start and a fall sangria both really good. The grouper was cooked to perfection and so was the steak. I also got a cheesecake to go- that was also amazing!
Really good experience- I hadn’t been in a while and I’ll be back soon!
Only complaint is I couldn’t park my own car. :(

I met some friends I hadn't seen in a long while for lunch. We had an early reservation, and stayed for over two hours catching up. As the room filled up ((though never crowded) we never felt as if we were being pushed to finish up and leave. The cocktails were unique and refreshing, the food was well prepared and tasty, and the staff was attentive without being intrusive. Our table near the window in a cozy room was perfect. We will definitely be back.

Very nice Sunday brunch with our son and his girlfriend. The atmosphere was bright, modern farmhouse - very comfortable. The noise level was lively but perfect for carrying on a conversation. Food was great- fresh menu, great taste and presentation. Service was good, apps could have come out a touch quicker but really no problem. Decent price so very good across the board.

As usual the food, service and bar selections were great.

This place is so loud it is difficult to carry on a conversation with table mates.
The wedge salad was a disappointment as were the crab cakes. Yuk.

I took my 90 year old aunt for lunch and she uses a walker. There are two steps from the patio entrance to the door. She was able to navigate it OK, but I didn't see any entrance that was totally step less for a wheelchair. We parked on the street right in front, so maybe there is another entrance from the parking lot in back.

The Wait Staff was great and responsive and the food was good. My aunt always tries to order wine and I was secretly able to have them bring sparkling grape juice and she was not wise to the switch! We ate in the sun room with all the windows and it was very pleasant. I would recommend it and go there again.

We visited The Mill on a Tuesday and sadly it is quite a different experience than what one would have on a weekend night out. Service was slower than expected, no congratulations were mentioned to us although we added that note to our reservation about our anniversary. Food was okay, my husbands food had vegetables missing from his plate and wine was stale and most likely not poured from a fresh bottle. Bottom line, unless your prices reflect differently, service and food shouldn’t change because your patrons dine on a Tuesday. We won’t return here again.

sunday b-daby brunch with the family, which includes 3 under 9. We were 10 or so minutes late for our reservation but they seated us immediately. Server was outstanding......took a bit to get our first round of drinks but that sounds like it was the bar. The server again, couldn't have been better.
Everyone very much enjoyed their food......will keep coming here.

Second time there. We went for our Anniversary Brunch Date. We heard our waiter tell another table the kitchen was having issues, which would likely explain why the appetizers took a while, but the meal came out very quickly. Had to ask for some essentials a couple of times, silverware, condiments, refills, but overall it wasn't a bad time.

Totally ignored. Seated by hostess who told us they’d run out of menus!!! We only needed three menus — or even one for the three of us to share. Unbelievable. The restaurant wasn’t even half full.
Waited 20 minutes — no server whatsoever acknowledged us, no menus ever came, not even a glass of water. Completed ignored. Felt like we were invisible. And we had reservations.
Will NEVER go back. Our first and only visit was a complete waste of time. We go out to eat multiple times per week, usually frequenting Little Alley, 1920 Tavern, Table and Main. Sorry, Mill Tavern, your loss!

The Mill‘s menu is always pretty diverse. Has something for everyone. Always very tasty food. Service is hit & miss tho, like most places. It depends, who you get. Their short-rib dishes are always very good. Their different in-house salad dressings are delish. Soups are always really good too.
