The Mermaid Oyster Bar is a warm, friendly, casually sophisticated neighborhood meeting place for dining, drinking and socializing. We serve seafood inspired from the North Atlantic and the Mediterranean. All our food is extremely fresh. “From the sea to the table” is how we like to put it.

Happy hour daily from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. $1.50 oysters & clams, drink specials and Mermaid favorites like our fish tacos, shrimp sliders and more.

Love the all day happy hour on Mondays. Oysters were amazing. We paid with the inKind app and got $30 off our bill.

What an amazing restaurant in all ways! It might have been more quiet since it was a Sunday night, but this is a FIND! Every dish was truly amazing. Great service and ambience. I said a couple times during dinner: THIS IS A KEEPER!!!

A reliably good experience. Started with delicious wellfleet oysters, shared the grilled asparagus and the blackened fish tacos. All the food was fresh and delicious. The Saturday night bartender mixes a great drink. I'll be back again for sure, especially for their daily happy hour

We always enjoy eating at your restaurant. However, you have revamped the fish tacos dish (at least at your West Village location) by making significant changes to its presentation. We do not like this new presentation without the crema and pico de gallo and the addition of salsa verde. In my opinion, this does not make the dish better. I went to your restaurant because I loved this dish, and I loved its creaminess and taste. Now, I don't know if I will. Please go back to its previous incarnation.

Great food, great service, enjoy the vibes inside. Tables were a little small (felt like we barely had room for 2 entree plates and 2 drink glasses on the table), but we will be back.
