Do not go here - both my daughter and I were disgusted that our shoes stuck to the filthy bathroom floors. T%he appetizer fundue is amazing, and desserts are yummy, but don't try and make a meal of it - entrees are abyssmal. Connecticut location is much better if you have that option (skip the boiled or deepfried main course - who eats boiled/deepfried steak??)
Extra special for my friends 29 All Over Again bday celebration. They even let us bring in our own cake.
Bobby our waiter was fantastic and Alan as always was fantastic
We love going to The Melting Pot. The fondue is delicious and the service is spot on!
Great place!
Jay was our server and he was amazing, as per usual! Hes
It was my husband’s birthday and we enjoyed every moment. Loved the private section in the lovers lane section. The 4 course meal was excellent, from start to finish. The entree course was small but considering you get the cheese fondue, then a salad then entree then the dessert, we were both full. Cooking the food was fun, nice and hot and the dip sauces were all great. We bought their seasoning, Garlic and Wine, delicious, a great addition to salads, meats, chicken and lobster. The dessert wAs the favorite part. Our waitress Rebecca was awesome.
This was our first visit to a Melting Pot even though we had wanted to try it for a while. Restaurant Week kind of pushed us to finally try it and I have to be honest we were underwhelmed. Based on the normal pricing I was expecting it to be more of an upscale experience but the restaurant kind of had that Olive Garden feel. The server was pleasant and overall very good but again the professionalism just felt more like a casual dining experience. Food was flavorful but nothing memorable. Based on the Restaurant Week pricing the portions were acceptable and it was a decent value for the money but if these are the normal portions and the pricing was the normal pricing it would seem overly expensive for what it is.
The concept of this restaurant is really fun, if it were executed properly. The dinner was way too expensive for the quality of food that they offer. They should have more appropriate options for boiling food, not steak and chicken, and the cheese should be much more flavorful.
Good but rather expensive.
Really a great experience. Our server couldn't have been nicer. After ordering a beer someone from the bar came over and pourd into a chilled glass from the bottle, head was half the glass. The food was very tasty, we were satisfied with the fondue for two (order the meats plate). The chocolate fondue we had for desert was Devine and we left stuffed. Only thing was prices were very high, but the service made up for it.
The melting pot is good. It’s a fun experience and something different then regular restaurants. The service is very good there and I love the way the tables are set up. It’s nice and quiet when it’s just me and my husband. However the prices are starting to get a little crazy for the type of food you’re getting. We get a couple pieces of chopped up vegetables and at most I’d say about 9 ounces of meat or protein and it’s 50$ for that? I can go Bobby Vans steakhouse for a 50$ steak and it’s amazing. And these are by far the smallest Martinis ever and they average about 12$. Are we in Manhattan? And I promise you the amount of alcohol that is in them is definitely not worth the price. I leave there drinking 4 martinis and I don’t even feel a tad bit buzzed. And I don’t drink a lot. Overall I have nothing bad to say about the white plains location. The staff is friendly and good at their job but as a corporate, melting pot has to get some common sense in there with their prices and quality of drinks.
We had a magnificent time at the Melting Pot. Our server did an amazing job he kept us engaged and provided us with great insight on what might be a good selection. The lover’slane package far exceeded my expectations and helped me make my lady’s birthday a special one. Thanks Melting Pot!!!
I had young girls with me that don’t eat too much so the waiter helped us choose the right amount. The girls had fun!
. The restaurant and menu is beautiful and modern but the music selection could use some updating.
I had a wonderful experience. I went around 7 PM on a Thursday. It was an private area, where one could easily have a nice talk with old friends and catch up. This definitely fits the idea of a perfect date as well. I will definitely be back soon!
Valentines dinner. Food was good as always. Hate that there is no valet or easy parking at this location. It took us 30 mins to find parking.
The service was great as usual. Our server, Sandia, was phenomenal. She routinely checked on us and helped made our Valentine’s Day experience memorable.
We found the restaurant staff to be very attentive. Our waitress demonstrated how we cook our food, via the fondue method, at our table and that was entertaining by itself. The food was tasty. especially the bananas foster dessert. We enjoyed having this private little nook to celebrate our 45th anniversary.
Took my daughter n friends for dinner girls ask the waiter how much it would b because they had a limited amount to spend - n it wasn’t explained to them also dropped food my us - not a good experience very expensive for no food - will not recommend very unhappy would love a refund
The girls had a lot of fun with their chocolate fondue. And the Beautiful happy birthday that the waitress brought out was an extra bonus. Thank you
Great place for families early in the evening
The staff and kitchen made the birthday celebration very special! Thank you very much!!
Amazing restaurant!! Service was great, food was tasteful, ambiance was peaceful. I really enjoyed my time being there and my server Olivia was so helpful, friendly and attentive.
Absolutely amazing service. From our first step into the restaurant the staff went above and beyond to welcome us, explain the process and do whatever they could to make our dining experience better. The manager saw that I had to go out to my car half way through dinner to put more quarters in the meter and he went out and did it for me! The waitress was very sweet and informative telling us everything she was adding to the pots and she made it a more fun experience. The host gave us a box of chocolate covered strawberrys when we were leaving because it was our anniversary. Will definitely be going again.
The food is very good, really delicious. They can also offer gluten options. However, the service was just ok. It took a long time for us to be seated (although we had a reservation) and it was hard to call a waiter to order some more drinks or even the check.
This was the absolute worst fondue meal our family has ever had. The food was TERRIBLE. We literally couldn’t eat it and all had stomach aches afterwards. Such a disappointment.
We had an amazing waiter who was attentive and engaging. Would go back definitely for dessert instead of dinner and dessert next time it was a lot of food but overall really good
At first, greeting staff was a complete pleasure, waiter kind and prompt. Beautiful ambiance, then shortly after screaming children dampened the pleasant experience, followed by the unpleasant temperature. The seating was set just under the blowers, uncomfortably chilly, had to request over three times for an adjustment. Overall, with the above stated, we did have a wonderful time with the quality of service by our waiter and the food.
Great experience! Nice staff very accommodating and kind!
The cheese and chocolate are amazing the entire on the other hand are not so good. I would eat dinner somewhere else and finish my night here.
Pushy waiter kept adding more to order. 3 of us want to split desert, he brought 3 of them and billed us . Not worth the hassle. Never returning.
Unfortunately I️ never got to experience the food at Melting Pot. I️ made a reservation to celebrate my Birthday, almost 3 weeks in advance. I had friends traveling from out of state, with majority very excited to experience the Melting Pot as they had never been. I️ called day of to ensure my reservation was set, and ask if 3 more guests to be added to my table, which they assured me was no problem at all. They also asked me to submit the cheese fondues for the table, so they could be ready at our table when we were sat. My reservation was at 8 pm, and my party was right on time. We were told our table would take a few minutes and to wait at the bar, which was not a problem at all! After 15 minutes went by, I️ asked if our table was ready, and we were told in a few minutes. Then it was 8:30 and a friend went up to ask again, then it was 8:45 and a different friend went up to the host to ask about our table, where she was told “yeah you guys have been asking us a lot”. Finally by 9 pm, we called another restaurant who was more than happy to accommodate our party. As we were walking up the steps, I️ told the host to cancel my reservation, to which they replied “your table is like ready now”.. Now should have been at 8 pm when my reservation was made 3 weeks prior.
It was extremely disappointing, as we were all looking forward to the dining experience. The host never tried to accommodate our party by splitting us into 2 tables or offering free drinks or something to compensate for the delay. They also never kept us aware of our tables status, requiring members of my party to have to check with the host to ensure we were not being forgotten. With 10 people taking advantage of the pre-fixe menu options and drinking, our bill would have easily been at least $700- a loss for the restaurant. This encounter has left a bad experience in my mouth, and those of the other 9 guests, many who had never dined at Melting Pot, and after this, probably never will.
Extremely slow service, which was difficult to understand since they don’t even cook your food. Very overpriced for small pieces of meat and fish which you boil in oil. The oil makes everything taste the same. You walk out of the place smelling like a fried fish. One and done, we won’t be going back.
Good service and a very nice and unique atmosphere. Be prepared to spend money, not cheap and honestly the quantity isn’t very generous. The food tastes good; however, this is more of an experienced based resturant. It’s all about the experience and it’s truthfully a great place to go out with friends to do something different. Cheese and chocolate are the best the main coarse is very different you have to cook your own meat in a broth fondue style which can be fun but one is enough for me . The meat selections are very overpriced and not worth it, that’s just my opinion. Overall a great resturant definitely worth a shot.
We just loved the Melting Pot! You never see fondu offered in restaurants and I have very fond memories of growing up with Fondu served at home. In fact Fondu Pots were often a great wedding or birthday gift. The dipping choices were wonderful and the meat choices were of excellent quality. The service by our waitress was always good. She carefully and expertly prepared the table for us. Our family really enjoyed the experience and we highly recommend The Melting Pot.
Everything is great, a bit expensive though. Great for anniversaries and birthdays.
We had a great time for our one year anniversary. Service was excellent.
Always a fun experience, went during Restaurant Week always recommended as pricey on a normal night! Great fun for a double date, love going to this place!
We had a great time celebrating my daughter's birthday. Food was tasty, and the children enjoyed cooking it by themselves. And at the end, they brought a nice dessert with candles so we could sing her happy birthday!
This place is always great for a special night. They are soon to serve vegan cheeses and desserts.
