Great service, great atmosphere, friendly staff. 5/5
Food was great and Krystle was a fantastic waitress
Had such a nice time for my daughter's 13th birthday. We only went for dessert and were treated like we were there for the full course dinner. The girls enjoyed all of the items on the plate and I was served the gluten free plate. It was delicious!
OUTSTANDING!!! Service and food were excellent. Will definitely return!
We invited our sons and their wives to meet us for Easter dinner. It was an enjoyable experience.
I love going to the Melting Pot as a special treat. My daughter and I had their Easter Special and enjoyed every bite. The food was great. The service was exceptional! This is a restaurant where you go to spend time with people and enjoy their company since you will be there a while. (Just the nature of a fondue meal.) We are looking forward to our next visit! 😃
Birthday for my son’s 14th birthday
It was our first experience at The Melting Pot. It was so much fun. The whole experience took 2 hours for all 4 courses but there was never a dull moment. I will definitely go back. Great for special occasions.
I have always loved the Melting Pot. They did not disappoint. Great service as always. Quiet ambience for relaxation and conversation. It is a pricey place so I usually reserve it for a special occasion or date night every once in awhile. It is so worth the money!
We always have a large enough party where we have 2 pots. One cooking style is Bourguignonne and the other is Mojo. Mojo pot was great as usual. For some reason everything that went into the Bourguignonne pot would stick to the side or bottom. That was not the case on previous visits. The folks that used the Bourguignonne pot were very frustrated and may not go back again. I don't know what has changed, but please correct it!
Never a disappointment....worth the time and money to experience this unique and fun time out. It is not something I would do "all of the time", however special occasions or a nice lunch or evening "get-a-way" is totally worth it.
Nate was awesome food was great
Just a group of friends in town for Shamrock weekend and we decided to make an occasion of dinner after having run 13.1 miles. We had an awesome time and would definitely visit again.
Great service. Highly recommended
Overall we had a very nice time. I made reservations days in advance that were confirmed for 730 and we were not seated until 8 pm. 30 hours prior I changed the reservations from 3 to 4 that I believed would not make a big difference. It was our first time attending for most of us and it was a very special occasion. The Cheese Fondue was overpowering with Wine and unlike most fondue with wine. All of us agreed with the same taste. The waitress was quick to offer a different choice after she was able to make it back to the table and the spinach dip with vegetable broth was delicious. Unfortunately there was so much time between the correction that we were no longer hungry and dinner quickly came (we ended up nibbling on the fruits and breads etc not knowing there would be a change of fondue ). The meat selections were wonderful but again, we were full. One thing that I would bring to your patrons attention, when one is ordering something that is a spicy choice of meat, that flavour penetrates into the same dipping broth for those that can not eat spicy foods. It was tolerable but we enjoyed the experience. The chocolate we were not sure if it was to be cold or not but it was tasty. We did not complain or ask too many questions as we were there celebrating a special occasion not so much the experience. Our waitress was very busy that night and professional. What mattered the most was those we were with. The process from arrival to completion was 4.5 hours leaving shortly after 11.
Unfortunately a group across from us were so intoxicated they were obnoxious. They were so loud we could hardly chat without having to yell at times. I wish the restaurant would have said something or handled things better. However, the food & service were wonderful. Can’t wait to return!
What a great place for a date. I’m hard of hearing and always worry about being able to hear my date when we’re out but we were seated in a small, semi-private room in one of the booths. I had no noise distractions from anywhere else in the restaurant. Low lighting, quite, great food that’s fun to prepare, top notch service & friendly staff. I will definitely be back.
The portions are small considering the price. The wait staff is friendly but were not very responsive to our table and we literally had to seek her out twice for service. She explained the process, brought the raw foods, then disappeared - including after the meal when we were ready for the chocolate fondue. It arrived so late that we got it in "to go" containers. This is good for a happy hour or lunch event where you have plenty of time to spare. The facilities are nice
Awesome place for a couple! The ambiance was intimate and romantic, we loved the service as well.
Meal and service was great. Was a bit disorganized at opening in terms of getting people seated.
We loved it! The food esa excellent and the service was awesome!
Samantha was our server and she was awesome!
I’m sad to even leave a poor review for this Melting Pot since I’ve been going there for over ten years to celebrate my birthday. Our waiter was obviously new and poorly trained. He did not know how to turn the pot on and turned it off by accident when he first took our drink orders. Our drinks took ten minutes to get to us and other people had to bring them. Our pot wasn’t ready for the cheese so the waiter had to stand there for a long time making uncomfortable small talk with us. Once the cheese was finally melted he left but returned a second later with our salads. Basically we had to eat our appetizer and salad at the same time. He never came back to put our broth pot on but then finally reappeared with our raw meat and seafood and then tried to put the broth on. We had to sit there for over 15 minutes with raw food while we waited for pot to boil. We ordered filet mignon but he brought us sirloin and told us they were out of filet. Imagine our anger when the table across from us received filet mignon AFTER we were told they were out!! The manager came over once before the main course and we expressed our concerns but she didn’t seem interested in finding us a new server. By the time dessert came I was just ready to leave. We had to flag down other servers and bus boys to clear or table because our waiter kept disappearing. Sadly, they only took $17 off our bill but we had to look to even see they did that because no one told us or apologized. I normally choose the melting pot for their amazing service which I often say out weighs the price. Sadly I can’t say that anymore.
Great time for our first anniversary we eat here often. Great for hanging with friends and date night.
I went there for restaurant week with a bunch of girlfriends and we had a great time! There was 6 of us, we had the bourbon bacon cheddar and wisconsin cheese for the first course, (bacon one was my favorite), mojo and coq au vin for the 2nd, and smores and ying and yang for the chocolate course... all amazing!! would definately recommend and would go back. Service was amazing. The staff was friendly and food was great.
My husband and I went for our anniversary. It was our second annual visit. We love it. The food is wonderful, and they have a wide variety of optionsoptions in each food section. The staff is polite and knowledgeable on the menu items. Each table has their own fondue and is able to cook each of their personal selections.
The experience was great and the food was reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly and prompt!
Couldn’t ask for a better night Nick was a great server
Our server introduced herself as a new-ish employee. She was not adequately prepared to be on her own. She was unfamiliar on how to use a waiters corkscrew table side, I ended up helping her and teaching her how to use it. When we can to dessert, she lowered or turned off the burner and the chocolate was very thick and cold. We come several times a year and usually do not have issues. This time it appears the training program did not set her up for success.
my boyfriend and i dined here for a date night, and we were so pleased! everything was absolutely perfect from the drinks, food and service. the four course experience is the best, and we were excited for each and every course. thank you for making our experience so incredible!!
s decades ago. We very much enjoyed the experience. It was personal, quiet, the service was well-tailored to the experience, and the food was wonderful. It's a great date site, a great special occasion site, and with the wine list it' s just a good place to spend a quiet, pleasant evening.
This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at The Melting Pot. We had three people, and they sat us in a 2-top. The server kept turning off our burner. She had to stand over us for 15 minutes waiting for the cheese to melt. She brought the wrong chocolate out. We where there three freaking hours! My kid fell asleep in the HOUR between cheese and cooking stock even coming to the table. The host even came by and asked if we enjoyed our chocolate before we had gotten our food it took SO LONG! So, the host knew we were upset. The server knew we were upset. She even apologized for “butchering” our special evening. Yet neither had a manager do a table touch. Absolutely ridiculous. I’ve been here dozens of times, and this has ruined it.
Landon was our server and was very efficient and very informed. We had a great time and the food was delicious!
Terrific Valentine's Dinner
It was my daughters birthday and I was surprised they didn’t sing Happy Birthday to her even after telling them it was her special day. Other than that, the service & food was great!!
Ashley was a great server! Made my daughters birthday dinner great!
Love this restaurant for special occasions and for a great dinner. The service is wonderful, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is great for conversation.
I love this place and I have come many times. Sadly this time I was very disappointed and the overall was honestly a little distasteful. I hope it doesn't happen again.
We go to this restaurant often so we know the menu pretty well. The cheese fondue was made without two ingredients, garlic, and nutmeg. When we asked the server about it, she claimed it’s not normally put in there but she could add it if we’d like. The chocolate was also served cold and she never turned the burner on.
This was my first time going with my 10 year old daughter. We went for the experience which we both had a lot of fun. My only complaint would be the booth size. We got a corner booth and it was much to small for me (5’10 160lbs) and my daughter (4’ 60lbs). We were scrambling to find room on our table just to put the food we order. A four course adults entree and a kids entree. I don’t think I was charged the right amount either but I chose not to question it as my daughter was having a wonderful time and I didn’t want to sour the experience. (Classic 4 course with lobster added, water and kids fondue and a kids cherry concoction. The receipt showed the classic at 37.xx, 21.xx addition, 9.xx kids fondue, and 2.xx for kids drink. I thought the lobster was only a 9.xx addition?) Will probably return just for a dessert course as that was my daughters favorite part.
