Staff worked well as a team. Service was excellent and we did not feel rushed. They even gave the dad"s a gift .....

I'm not sure why it seemed to take longer than normal. The time in between the main course and dessert took exceptionally long. At the two hour mark during our meal, we had to leave. We ended up taking our dessert to go. Not quite the best way to enjoy chocolate fondue. Also, it was a much smaller amount of chocolate.

This was my first time to The Melting Pot. I found the menu very confusing, as did everyone in my party. It was not clear that the whole table had to decide on ONE style of cooking. Even the waiter's explanation was confusing and we had to ask for clarification.
For someone who hasn't been, you must ALL agree as to which type of cooking liquid you want; three are broth-based, and one is oil-based. Then you all get to pick some different types of meats (and even ravioli) that you'd like to cook in that broth. That was difficult because some chose beef, some seafood, some poultry, etc., so some meats were more conducive to other kinds of cooking liquid.
Once that was decided, you get the meats brought to you. I don't know what I was expecting, but it was totally raw!! The waiter cranks up the heat on the pot of broth on your cooktop table and then you're responsible for keeping all your different colored forks straight (everyone gets their own set of four colored forks), and it's up to YOU to cook each item long enough. The guideline was that chicken takes 1 1/2 minutes, which was wrong because the chicken was uncooked at the 1 1/2 minute mark. We found ourselves setting the times on our Iphones to keep it all straight and to not have raw meat. And then you had to remember which of your forks you put in when! Also, you must be careful of cross contamination and not put a raw piece of meat near your cooked pieces!
All this cooking and stress and the bill was shockingly high! I did ALL the cooking! Why was the bill so high? Sorry, I just don't get the charm. Obviously it's a very popular chain, so I must be in the minority thinking that way, but I won't be going back. I've decided if I'm going to drop a couple of hundred dollars going out with friends, I want to be SERVED my dinner; not cook it myself.

This is our favorite restaurant for special occasions. The service was fast, the food was amazing and the customer service was incredible. We had an incident with the bus boy and the manager couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Would highly recommend The Melting Pot to anyone looking for a nice dinner out.

I was astonished by the amazing service, and quality food items. Although price would prevent me from making this a regular dinner location, it definitely will be visited again.

Dave was a Fabulous server. We were seated by the kitchen doors which hurt the ambiance for this visit, but Dave made our visit fun and entertaining so we didnt hardly notice! Will return!

The food was great. I’ve been before, and the 4-course meals are delicious, bit it’s quite a lot of food. This time we just did cheese and chocolate and it was perfect with a cocktail. Can’t wait to come back!

Clearly it's been too long since I last ate at the Melting Pot, because I forgot I almost can't handle the 4-course meal. Expensive? Yes (thanks to Totally Awesome 80's, though, for covering most of the tab!). Worth it? Yes. Would I go back? Absolutely. I'll try to remember to just get an entreé, though...then I might actually be able to try the dessert, too!

We go here every year for our anniversary because it's a little pricey for everyday. Love the romantic atmosphere. This time was a little odd because they had just changed menus so our food took a little more time to get than it should but otherwise all went well.

Our server was wonderful, and the entire staff was incredibly intentional. Went there for my friend's birthday and they gave us a card signed by everyone! They also decorated her dessert plate and made her feel very special on her birhtday. She also happens to have down syndrome, so it was extra awesome and meaningful for her. Thank you so much!!!

We waited over 30 minutes to be seated with a reservation. It was only until I got my friends attention who was a hostess and she tried to immediately correct the situation by providing a complimentary special dining upgrade. We appreciated the gesture but were disappointed because had I not been friends with her we don’t know how long we could have been waiting with a reservation. The food was phenomenal, however we prepare that ourselves so.... the ambience of the seating area was very relaxing and romantic. Very well done in that regard.

Have been coming to the Melting Pot on and off for years. This is the first time I had an issue with a waitress. She wasn’t rude or late with the food. She had the tendisy to hover and was alway there at first half of the meal and the second half seldom saw her at all.

We tried The Melting Pot for the first time for both of us to celebrate a birthday, and we're so glad we did! It was a fun first with communal eating, tasty, original cocktails, the 4-courses encouraged us to take our time, and we enjoyed the cozy seating. Our waitress, Christina, was excellent, explained everything thoroughly for us first-timers, and even brought out a Happy Birthday plate with a birthday candle to round out the dining experience.

A really pleasant group experience. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere all completely exceeded my expectations. The privacy of the seating was perfect for catching up with our out-of-town guests. Overall, our entire group was extremely satisfied and we are excited to return in the future.

We did not care for the cheese. We were also not aware we had to cook our own food in the pot...strange. Our waiter was great. Food was ok. Dessert was good. Overall, ok.

Such a fun place to bring kids. Mostly little girls! I love to bring our little ones and get cheese, salads, and chocolate. People complain it’s expensive - and it’s not if u just have cheese and chocolate. It will fill you up as well!

We had a great experience at The Melting Pot! The service was excellent and our waitress made the night enjoyable by being attentive to us and friendly as well as giving the details and information we needed to prepare our meal (we were first time guests). We were able to have great conversation and fun while dining. The food was great and we enjoyed the process.

First time to The Melting Pot. Great atmosphere and the company was great. Server lacked in personality and hospitality. I was warned about this previously by other reviews and it is sad that it is actually the truth. Food was less than desirable especially for the money. We had 2 cheeses and one never reached the desired consistency. Bought the most expensive thing on the menu and it was a total letdown. To each his own I guess but for the $260 it cost for 3 people to eat, you can buy 3 fondue pots and have 20+ people come to your home and not be bothered by the lack of service. The only time I could see returning might be for happy hour and all you can eat cheese and chocolate for their special price.
