As always our visit to Melting Pot was amazing. Our favorite waiter Eric was funny and informative. We were a group of 8 including a mom who just lost her son and his two sisters. It was a time to get out and have fun and enjoy life again after such a sad time. We were also joined by my mother who has parkinson's and is rarely able to do any outings like this. We had amazing non-alchoholic drinks, wonderful cheeses, a great salad, endless entree's and of course the icing on the cake, the chocolate for dessert. It was an amazing time for all filled with laughter. Thank you so much Melting Pot for making our outting special. ----Leanne

Food was good, but we were a hassle to our server and we didn't ask for much outside the normal. Drinks took a good 20 min to get (and I only got 2 after having to ask when mine had been out for 20 min) and we saw our neighboring tables waiters more than ours...

We have been to this location several times and are never disappointed. The food is always fresh and delicious. We both said we need to start with dessert -- the bananas foster is to die for and we have had it every time we go. We felt the service was a bit rushed this time. In the past we had an opportunity to relax a few minutes between courses. This time, each course came as we were still eating the prior course. Those few minutes allow our food to settle so we are ready for the next course. I could have understood if they were extremely busy but they weren't.

The food is always good. With the endless entree special, it’s a good deal.
But dining experience at Melting Pot is always dependent on your luck to get a good waiter/waitress or not. There were times we had pleasant waiters and the whole 3-hours dining was joyful. But this time we were very unlucky to get a slow and mean waitress. Finally the manager himself had to come to help serve.

Our server was great. The meat and chocolate part were absolutely delicious. The cheese part was just not our taste, we should have chosen the baked potato cheddar one. The skewer things and wine glass were not completely clean, they needed to be scrubbed before putting in the dishwasher it looked like. Overall we enjoyed our experience.

My first time at The Melting Pot (Troy) was a great experience for me. The food was phenomenal and the time spent with my family there was warm, cozy, entertaining, and heart felt. There will definitely be a next time!

The variety of stuff that comes with the chocolate fondue was much better than it used to be. The Rice Krispie Treats and Belgian Waffle bits were great. The only problem is that I felt that the fondue pot seemed too far away from where your plate was and consequently you dribbled cheese & chocolate onto the table.

I’ve been to the Orlando location and have had a great experience every time. This is my first time at the troy location and it was not the best experience. We did arrive at 10:15 but the waiter pretty much said hey it’s going to take 2.5 hrs to do a 4 course and it was very obvious he didn’t want to stay long but ironically we were there for over 2 hrs anyway because he was soooo slow. We just had cheese and chocolate fondue. It was ridiculous. Also when we arrived in the room every other table was dirty and not cleaned up the whole time were sitting there which was not appetizing. So overall experience was poor and I’ve never had a bad experience at the Orlando location. Troy location needs to get their stuff together. The waiter didn’t even seem to know what he was doing with mixing the fondues either felt like a science experiment every time watching him do it. One of the chocolate fondues didn’t come out good.... how do you screw up chocolate?

This was my first experience to The Melting Pot and it was excellent in every way. The food, the atmosphere, the service and overall feel were all beyond outstanding. And our waiter, Alex was helpful and caring to us. I enjoyed every thing about my dining experience and will be happy to visit again!

I've been to this establishment many times before. Although it's been sometime since my last visit, I was looking forward to my 4 course meal. The cheese (Wisconsin) and dessert (Ying and Yang) fondues did not disappoint. The salad course was as expected. What was disappointing was the main fondue. I ordered the surf and turf, which came with plenty of filet mignon and lobster. I chose the mojo style cooking (was always my favorite). However, this time the mojo style didn't taste as it always tasted in prior visits. It was missing something, which I suspect was the lime juice to give it that citrus flavor. Our server Thomas came back around to add the garlic and orange juice well after the fondue had been cooking. So I suspect that some other ingredients were missing as well. Although I finished the main course, it was with a bit of disappointment. I'll chalk this up to a one time occurrence based on a newer server still learning the ropes. I also loved that the restaurant added the little touch of pre-dipped chocolate strawberries to enhance our anniversary celebration. It made the occasion feel more special.

Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The manager greeted us personally as we walked in and checked on us during the meal. I felt welcomed and left with the feeling that my continued business was highly valued. It’s a pleasure to see that some businesses still take pride in excellent customer service

Our dinner was outstanding! We were lucky enough to get a table with 2 burners and tried the Bourguignonne and Coq Au Vin cooking styles. Both styles gave our entrée's unique flavors that were out of this world! It was the perfect place to celebrate getting a new job.

Great unique experience. The amount of food was ok. My girlfriend and I shared a 4 course meal for 1 person, cost $42. Kinda up there in price if you need 2 separate meals. We both loved dipping our food and it became a great event that we can both look back on in the future.

Do not go to this location! First, we spent 3.5 hours to eat cheese, a salad and chocolate. We should have walked out when we we waited 20+ minutes for a table when we had a reservation. It then took 40 mins to get the drinks we ordered (and the martinis were warm ), multiple different wait staff kept taking over the table, but all forgot to talk accurately to each other. The waitress we had was unable to explain the process to us, each portion of meal was spaced out 40 mins too.
I think the overall terrible service was the absolute worst! Everyone washing so awkward. They would just come to the table and leave part of the meal without a word. Then one waiter cam back and said as he was passing our food, “sorry I was sweating so bad I had to go.” Lol... I can’t make this stuff up.
We rounded the trip up with having to send the check back 4 times bc it was wrong (taking 50 minutes total). We searched the place for help for her... a manager (at least we think so) went to look for her, but that’s all that happened. Finally, we were leaving and the seat of the booth fell completely off of the seat.
Please, please skip this restaurant. THe only good part was that my friends and I have been laughing hysterically and telling this story to everyone we see.

Poor attitude servers openly complaining about others. Place needs updating. 2.5 hour for dinner. Left open burners on for 10 minutes between meals forcing my family to leave our seats due to the heat. You should place bowls over the burners to prevent the heat from directly impacting your guests! Overpriced to say the least. Came there for a birthday but they wouldn’t know since they never asked. Good for dessert but that’s it.
