Food was better than before. Service and drinks were excellent with low noise level. Cannot dine there though without GroupOn. Way too expensive

The food was delicious, as always! The service was exceptional and the manager even came to ask how our visit had been. Very much worth the deal.

We when this last Saturday for my daughter birthday she has an enclosed room with 5 friends they ordered Cheese and Chocolate Fondue and drinks. The Cheese and Chocolate was great ! The refills on water and drinks was not, when they ask for more fruit it took over 15 mins and they gave them only one small piece of banana each, one strawberry each and one pineapple piece.

My husband and I sat at another table and ordered the 3 entree for $24.99 a person. They said it included veggies what came out for us to cook on the grill was maybe 2 oz of 3 meats, 2 mushrooms, 4 thinly sliced zucchini pieces and 3 pieces of asparagus.

This was so lacking and disappointing . Our Waitress also left and didn't come back for 20 minutes, when we told her we will be waiting for our daughter's group she left us with the dirty dishes and never returned.
So I do not plan on going back again anytime soon.

We have been going to the Melting Pot for the last 6 years for our annual new years family meal. This was our first visit to the new location on Hwy 54, and we were disappointed with the ambiance. Our server was very friendly and did a nice job. The food was the same, but the presentation, including the paper menus (with something sticky on it) was a step down from our experience at the Fayetteville Rd and Raleigh locations. The tables were less private and there was a colder, more casual vibe. Although we had a reservation made a week in advance, we ended up having to sit in the bar area. For such an expensive meal, we didn't feel that it was the same special experience we've had in the past. We will have to consider whether to continue with our tradition at the Melting Pot.

We have been to the Melting Pot many times. This visit was different. The restaurant felt dirty, food on the carpet, multiple dirty tables, service was slow with very little interaction from waiter, never asked if I wanted another glass of wine. Did not stop by to see if we needed anything until we had an issue with our oil. Very little done to remedy the situation except turn the temp down and it took extra long to cook our food. They did bring an extra plate for dessert and some extra shrimp to try to make up for the oil issue. We generally enjoy the Melting Pot but probably will try the one in Raleigh next time.

A little disappointed when told our reservation was for 2 when clearly it states 5 that we had to leave within an hour and 45 mins. I'm not sure what happened but, don't like being told we had a certain time to leave a restaurant. Very unprofessional. Service was ok. Wasn't crazy about the waitress using her bare hands when handling our food.

They claimed we didn’t show but not only were we there, it was a nightmare. We were forgotten for long periods of time, were out of water the whole meal, never got served our vegetables, only got chocolate for 2 but paid for 4. All of the tables had dirty dishes on them. We usually really enjoy this restaurant but tonight was just awful. Definitely not worth the money.

Update-owner reaches out to us and made it right. Most restaurants wouldn’t care. Was very impressed by this and would go back.

Enjoyed our Melting Pot experience, our server was great. I have a severe food allergy and she brought allergy menu to table to make sure our selections would be safe for me. The food was fabulous. I loved the chocolate for dessert.

The thing with fondue is that it slows people down to have a relaxing dinner and actually talk in between courses and while the food is cooking. Imagine!

Was pretty disappointed to find that there were only a handful of the more private tables at this newer location and that we were one of the unlucky ones. We were seated in the bar area, which wasn’t particularly romantic. My wife remarked “this feels more like a sports bar”. Wife was given the wrong salad, but couldn’t find our waitress so had to flag down another. We used to love going to he melting pot, but I don’t think we’ll be coming back, especially not to this location.

Enjoyed the seating in booths and cozy-ness of The individual booths for two. This also helped keep the noise lower. So many restaurants currently are very noisy. Waitress was very helpful explaining how the menu works. Really enjoyed the cheese coarse. Plenty of food. Food tasted very good. We enjoyed the whole experience. It is different than other restaurants and that makes it special.

We had a small issue with having a reservation yet being told we could only sit at a one pot table for four people, however the manager and owner were quick to adapt to our request for a double burner and we sat in the bar area which was fine for us. The service was excellent as always and the food delicious.

This location works every bit as well as the old one, don’t let that turn you away. This place is really as good as the company you bring; they provide all the elements for a good time and can kinda just leave you to it.
Make sure you know the mulitude of specials, they will honor them but you may need proof and to stay sober enough to double check at the end.

This was our second experience in 2 months. We thought the last visit might have been a fluke, but it wasn't. The service was fantastic, the food was as good, if not better, because of the selections we made this time. My wife enjoyed her birthday this year because of the pleasant personnel, service and food. Oh, and the birthday chocolate covered strawberries they gave her were to die for. Management came over to check on us and wish my wife a happy birthday too. Our server, Patrick, was attentive, pleasant and kept our glasses full. Other personnel helping to remove dishes and pots were just as pleasant. We cannot express our gratitude to the Melting Pot staff for their outstanding service, food, and atmosphere. They made my wife's birthday one of the best she's had in a quite a while. My wife is determined to take her sisters here for ladies night, and we'll be coming back for sure.

We typically love Melting Pot and have gone to Melting Pots for Holiday get togethers for the last 18 years. This time we were very disappointed with how poor the service was.

Though our reservation was at 19:00 we were seated at 19:40. That being said, the manger comped us a round of drinks which was great! But it all went downhill from there.

The server was very slow- it took approximately 25 minutes to start our cheese course and then she rarely checked in on us. She also had an attitude of being bothered by such requests as asking for water or wiping the table between courses. Her standard response was “I’m not sure we can do that” to such simple requests as us asking to have shrimp put on a separate plate to accommodate a person in our group with an allergy to shrimp or to me asking if the table could be wiped after the main course secondary to sauce having been dripped on the table from the fondue pots. At one point she handed me a bar napkin to wipe the table myself. I had to specifically ask for a bar rag (which she rolled her eyes at) and then I had to wipe our own table!

For a $300 dinner and from past experience, we expected much more.

We will go back to Melting Pot, but very likely will not go to this Melting Pot again.

I really enjoyed the dinner. The service is really good there and it is fun to see how the cheese and chocolate fondue are prepared right at the table.
The only minor issue was, that despite the reservation, we waited quite a while (5-10 min?) until they found our table.
