Our waiter was quick, attentive, and personable.
He made the experience excellent and brought up service a notch.

Upon entering general manager Tony was not pleasant while stating "Can I help you?" as though we were at the wrong place. We informed him of our business meal reservation at 7:15 (we arrived early at 6:45 to hang out at the bar until our table was ready) and Tony let us know our table would be ready closer to 7:15 PM. We were completely okay with sitting down at 7:15 PM. We went to the bar and ordered two drinks. Bar service was fair and drinks were made very well.

When our hostess came to sit us down we were in the process of getting our checks paid out. While waiting the hostess revisited us and stated "Are we ready yet?" while fidgeting and moving items on the bar around as though she was in a hurry. Ambiance and noise level were awesome. Our server Nicki was good. She forgot to ask us for drinks we had to request them but that was no biggie. She checked on us to make sure our experience was going well and explained the process of how our night would go since we were new Melting Pot customers.

Our main complaint with this location of the Melting Pot are the behaviors and public verbal discussion with the general manager took place. Once our checks were picked up by Nicki we were visited by the general manager Tony. What we thought was going to be a simple follow up about our experience turned out to be an inquisition of the amount of tip that was left. We were spoken to in a tone loud enough for neighboring tables to hear him harass us about the tip. His actions were inappropriate and futile. No one should have to go through having any staff at a restaurant, especially an upscale establishment as the Melting Pot, ridicule and banter a customer regarding the tip.

The Melting Pot can be a great new dining experience for anyone. But this Scottsdale location turned our new dining experience into a horrific negative one. Leaving me no desire to return or recommend the restaurant to anyone.

SO so. Run down and tired decor. Slow service. Not a lot of food for the money- had to keep asking for more stuff, more water- check etc. not an upbeat atmosphere. Won’t return.

We have been to several Melting Pots around the country and this is by far the lowest quality in food and service. The first time we new we were in trouble is when the bar tender did not know how to make a strawberry daiquiri. She asked us and then Googled it. The drink was awful. Basically ice and lime juice. Asked for extra vegetables and were told they only have enough for the number of reservations they have for the evening. Manager did bring a few extra after the waitress was taken back by our looks I am sure. We ordered two ice teas, one was charged at .95 cents per glass the other one was charged at $2.95 per glass. We each had 3-4 glasses of tea so over $10 for a water downed ice tea. They did not have the cocktail sauce for shrimp which was very disappointing. As the other locations we have visited it is great. Atmosphere is nothing like the Littleton, CO one or even the Tucson, AZ before it closed. Loud, very bright. No seating outside as they said the burners do not work.

Waitress did not give an explanation as to cooking styles or how to cook. Not personable, seemed like she couldn't wait for us to leave. We ended up not ordering chocolate.

Overall, would not go back to this location. We stilled enjoyed each others company and made the best of it.

We love the Melting Pot and they never disappoint! The food and service were fantastic as always. We went for Mother's Day, even though I usually avoid restaurants on that day. However, everything went smoothly and we had a lovely time.

First time visit for the 6 of us. So we decided to attempt it for Mother’s Day 2018. Not sure what to expect. The food and quality and flavor was great. (Best part)

Really the waiter was very inexperienced and not very through or attentive with the basics and us having to ask multiple times for same thing then wait for two or three trips and reminders to get the item. So that was very frustrating. Then we noticed some small bug on the fruit bowls after we ate all the fruit. Mentioned it to the staff and management. They just said they would have the staff wash the fruit. Figured that should have already been happening. Just not what I expected for a high dollar place with a reputation for service as quality. Very disappointed overall other then the food.

The quality of the food was fair. The server did a fine job. It was Monday night so it was quiet in the restaurant. It was a VERY lengthy (3hr) labor intensive meal. Just not my idea of dinning out. For the money we spent we could have dined at Ruth's Chris, enjoyed prime filet mignon and sides served to us prepared to perfection in elegant ambiance. The dessert was the best part of our 4 course meal.

The curtain booth is the ONLY way to enjoy the full romance experience at The Melting Pot. Our server (Nathan, I think?) was exceptional - respectful, understated, but appropriately attentive, and the manager (Emily) ensured our experience was a good one. We went light, with just cheese fondue and dessert, and it was MORE than enough. Also learned that we could special request what we preferred - more apples, more tomatoes, less bread, etc. Very pleased, & can’t wait for our next special occasion.

I always love eating at the melting pot. Food is amazing along with the service. The seasonal mushroom bacon cheese fondue is the best I've ever had there. I wish it was available year round.

Service was poor. Waited 15 minutes at our table before we got up and spoke to the front desk because no one had brought us water or even brought us menus yet. Food was good. Waitress did not check on us often enough, considering we were there for 2 1/2 hours and spent about $200 on 3 people, no alcohol. I guess the experience was fun, I will say that. I did hear there is a better less expensive fondue place in Mesa. Maybe we will check it out.

We have been here several times, and each prior time has been great, this time however it just seemed the quality of the food and portions have gone downhill slightly....not a deal breaker but for the price there are other places just as good if not better (hince my lower mark on value). I do not mind at all paying for a very good meal, but the meal and drink prices are getting high for what you get. Our server Sara made the difference though, she was on the money with everything and although she said she was new at the restaurant you would never know it! Manager stopped by too and was very nice. Need to update the place though folks, I'm guessing corporate handles that, and should look into it. Overall it was a nice night.

Recently had a fantastic experience at Melting Pot! My boyfriend and I were on a special date and it was a perfect setting (and we didn't even have a private curtain booth, which would have made it even more special!). Food was awesome, and our waitress, Sierra, was spectacular!! We will definitely be back (hopefully SOON). :)

Every aspect was a well thought out experience. We hadn’t been here for a while but boy did we miss out. Our drinks were perfectly crafted. Jason combined a cherry vodka and made us a great drink. Ralph took great care of our meal with perfect recommendations. The special touch was that both managers, Emily and Tatum came by to wish us a happy anniversary and make sure we were doing good. They even brought us a rose for our anniversary. Truly memorable! We will be back soon for the endless entree that our kids will get a kick out of.

Regulars here, get the same thing every time but very dissapointed this time as the sesame batter was extremely watered down to the point where it wouldn’t stick to the meat long enough to make it to the pot. Pretty unsatisifed. Great service, waitress tried to fix it but replacement was just as bad.

Always a great place to really slow down and take your time with yummy food. It is perfect for couples and special occasions, but I went with girlfriends and it was a lot of fun. Cooking the dinner there with the fondue makes eating dinner the entertainment for the evening. It's certainly something to remember.
