The Melting Pot - Savannah
Everything was amazing as always. My favorite place for a nice intimate meal in Savannah.
I am a fan of the melting pot and while we enjoyed our experience I was disappointed by the new menu changes.
We have been here twice. Once for dinner and another time for brunch. I will say dinner is my absolute favorite although if your looking for cheaper options and still want the cheese and chocolate fondue brunch would be the way to go. The staff is amazing!
Ariana was OUTSTANDING and provided great service and conversation
Always a lovely time every time we visit here!!
It was amazing! We didn’t wait long to be seated and our server was on point! The food was delicious too
Our server Jessie was amazing
Very friendly staff! Made my boyfriend’s 21st birthday very special! Will always come here if I have the money to
For the money, too little food. Service was not that good as well. We finished out fondue before our drinks even came. Our waitress barley checked in on us to see if we needed anything as well. Would not be back.
Great and prompt service. Delicious food. Fun experience.
Waitress was great and very helpful. Food was excellent.
Went with six of my friends and dad for my 21st birthday and had the best time. JoJo is the best server and our new best friend. The whole four course experience is fun and the drinks are amazing. Worth every penny!
This was my first time ever being there and it was my birthday. It was a wonderful experience Cat and Vee was our servers and they were amazing. The food was delicious, I’m not originally from Savannah but I will definitely come to this restaurant in the near future.
The seating was much more private than the one we had previously been too. The staff appeared to actually enjoy their jobs and their guests. We will be back
Our waiter was excellent. He was very attentive with us throughout the entire meal.
Celebrating a bridal party. Beef was tough and tasted rancid. Not able to eat it. The onion soup was great as well as the dessert
Great time at Melting Pot. It’s a great place to bring your wife for a nice date where you have plenty of time for good conversation without feeling rushed.
We arrived early, before our reservation. I’m grateful we were able to be seated, however service was lacking and impatient with our table.
I’m not a fondue fan, but our college-age granddaughters were visiting and, well, it’s all about the experience. I recommend a larger pot for a party of four. It takes long to heat up. Salads were fresh, meat okay but not plentiful. For the cost, I’m not impressed.
The food was bland. Wasn’t my cup of tea
Great food and excellent service. Our waitress was absolutely fantastic!
Enjoyed fabulous food and service.
Our waitress was outstanding.
Enjoyed fondu cooking.
The cheese fondu we chose was awesome
And the salad was delicious we could do cheese dip and salad all night. Plenty of food to fondu for two of the four course meals. Meats, veges, cheeses, salads and dessert!! Very pleased.
Great place. Environment was great. Food was great. Service was great. It is expensive, but it's not a run of the mill experience. You go to The Melting Pot for a different dining experience. And they delivered that to us.
Amazing dining experience! Our server was so patient and kind.
The tuna was not good. No one at our table could eat it. It was not fresh. The salad was mediocre. The cheese fondue and dessert fondue were wonderful. However, a lot of money to just enjoy the appetizer and dessert. It was a unique experience, but the quality of the entree was just average.
Six of us went for dinner and we had a very nice experience. Our waiter was personable and attentive. The food was good but the ”cook it yourself” experience was what made it a fun event instead of the usual dinner out. The only drawback was that 6 of us were crammed at a booth and it was too tight , especially when folks were all trying to reach the melting pots centered inghe table. Otherwise, no complaints .
As everyone one knows, Melting Pot is overpriced but our kids even at Age 32 pick there or Kobe’s. We decided since we live in Savannah to try Melting Pot at their birthday request. Not sure if it is management or simply the service in general. There were only two other tables at 7:15 on a Sun night (that should be a hint). There were two hosts which made no sense and only two servers. When we asked the host questions about the menu he faked it for a minute or two then said we would need to ask the server. There were temperature issues with the pots. The explanation we were given is that after ‘Sunday Brunch. A lot of the burners become unreliable as the day goes on. Hmmm maybe we should get those replaced. We did not receive the vegetables so when we asked someone from the kitchen brought out a little container with two pieces of broccoli and some small cherry tomatoes which looked like what we didn’t eat with the cheese course. When our server returned we questioned it and were told she brought out the wrong thing and she would get the mushrooms squash etc right away. Of course the main course is half over. Then later since the vegetables were there we were always used to a slotted spoon to help rescue the vegetables. When we asked our server she said she would look but again because of Sunday Brunch they were all dirty and no one had a chance to clean them. I’m thinking they should invest in a commercial dishwasher and run it between Brunch and dinner service. The second host ought to be a server or dishwasher possibly? We did still tip appropriately because it was hard to tell if this was a server problem, a kitchen problem or an overall restaurant problem. I did mention something and our server did say they were hiring. Not impressed and won’t recommend to other locals and certainly not tourists. I’ll have to get a good report from someone I trust before that can change. Usually something is done for a Birthday, Anniversary etc, nothing, nada.
This was our first date night since we had our child and it was a perfect night from the moment we entered the door. Thank you
What an awful time!!! We LOVE Melting Pot and seek them out all across the country.... BUT this one was horrible! The hostess acted like she was clueless and the server acted like she was reading from a script. They were NOT busy...the bar area was half full.....we were one of two table (the whole night) in the dinning room, but the server asked for our order....then drinks....then brought our cheese order and right behind it our dinner (WRONG).... then our drinks
and dropped off the desert menu and waited about 3 min and came back and asked us to order dessert --- right then ..... we hadn't even had our cheese yet!!!! They were out of sauces but offered to go to the store if we wanted to wait 30 minutes...lol.....while ALL of our FOOD was IN FRONT of US! The whole time this was going on......on the table beside us someone was cooking a RICE dish (Melting Pot does not serve rice) but no one was sitting there! A guy in cut off shorts and a rough looking T-shirt kept coming from the kitchen and stirring the dish then he would disappear into another dinning area. Usually we are dinning for 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs at any other Melting Pot, we were in and out in less than an hour with a $150 bill - did not hardly eat and was very disappointed !!!! We spoke to the manager and he said the Rice dish was for a friend of his that brought a group in that doesn't like the MP food so he was making them something else.....WTF!?!?!? AND the guy in the shorts was the "friend" ----- so does that mean anyone - clean or dirty can go back into the kitchen and cook what they want??? We are leaving out so many other details but limited to "word" space here. Basically - we know many Melting Pot owners and or managers and LOVE Melting Pots - just NOT this one. It was the worst one we have ever patronized! Enter at your own Risk!
The food was outstanding and our server was beyond personal and on top of everything. She guided us through the menu and made excellent recommendations. Could not ask for anything more.
Dinner was for 5 people. We did the 4 course meal for everyone which included everything. When they brought out the main course we thought it wasn’t enough but boy were we wrong. Very filling and had leftovers.
About $45 per person. Bill was $255 and with tip total was $310.
6 of us ladies had a fabulous time at The Melting Pot for Brunch on a Saturday afternoon. We chose 2 incredibly tasty fondues for our main course, each of chose their second course with all of us enjoying these fully and we chose 2 dessert fondues that were the best that we had ever tasted. Our fondue choices were skillfully prepared by our wonderful waiter Charles. He explained our choices in a thorough manner and made our dining experience delightful. His abilities to satisfy our taste buds and his wit and charm were exceptional. We are planning our next dining experience for the near future. Thank you Melting Pot for providing a beautiful, clean and well planned environment within your restaurant. We love the way the fondues were set up on 2 heating plates at our table. The trays of entree dippers and dessert dippers were astounding with so many choices to enjoy. More than we could have ever expected.....Keep up the great work!!!! One of a kind restaurant in Savannah!!! You MUST GO!!!!
Jovonna our waitress was awesome! She made our first experience perfect! We didn’t know what to really choose since it was our first time dining so we chose her recommendations and they were amazing! Overall it was perfect.
Austin was awesome! He saw that it was our anniversary and whipped together the romance package for us. It was very nice and he rocked! Desiree was our server and she’s awesome as well. She’s very attentive and we had fun!
As always, the food was excellent. Unfortunately, this was the first time I'd ever had a rude server at MP. It was also the first time anyone in the group besides myself had ever dined at MP, and the terribly rude server kind of destroyed their experience. Several were honest that they will not return. Shame!
All was good just wish servers would have better understanding of current specials. Aside from that all was good and I would go back just spent a little more than I needed to due to a server not knowing current promotion.
Awesome food, great customer service! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience!
Everything was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish! My boyfriend and I came in for a special date night and we were definitely not disappointed. The Melting Pot is up on my list of my favorite places to eat. Our server, Triston, was absolutely excellent. He told us that he was still new to the restaurant and we never would’ve guessed had he not told us. He was very attentive and prompt with everything we asked for and our drinks were never empty! Another absolutely amazing experience, we will absolutely be back for more!
My kids asked our server about 100 questions and he was completely patient with them.
Great date night stop!!! Little pricey ($150 for two), but overall a great spot. Portions are plentiful and everything was fresh.
Traveling for July 4th, we stop in Savannah...caught a sunset at the river and walked to the Melting Pot for a great night with the Family.
