We love the Melting Pot experience! Love that they had a Summer "Afternoon Delight" Special advertised.
Nothing better than dipping everything imaginable in melted chocolate, after thinking that you are full (after dipping veggies and bread in melted cheese, and eating cooked meats : )
Our server was absolutely amazing, it was by far our best visit yet
Overall had a great evening, the service could have been better with refills and general checking in on our table.
I took a friend to the Melting Pot for his birthday. It was his first experience. He was extremely satisfied with all aspects of the birthday dinner. He is already wanting to go again. I have known about the Melting Pot for 30 years since my first visit to a Melting Pot in St. Petersburg, Florida. I always recommend this restaurant for a nice dining Experience. Thank you.

on a Friday night. Our evening couldn't have been more fun and enjoyable, from our outstanding server, Addy, to the scrumptious and plentiful four-course meal we enjoyed. Melting Pot is the perfect place when you're tired of same old, same old and yearning for a unique--and classy--dining experience. Lots of others thought so, too: the place was packed! We'll go back soon!

Very frustrating experience as I was very excited for a nice night out there. I showed up at 10:05p for my reservation at 10:15p to find the restaurant was closing bc there was "no business". When I asked about my reservation, they said they were aware but there just wasn't enough business. I did not receive a text/call or otherwise notification. Not even an apology. Ugh.
The meal was a joy with my youngest daughter. We shared a 4-course fondue experience and it was simply well executed. I even told the owner of the location that we've been to a couple of the franchisees in the area and thought very highly of all of them! We'll return, no doubts.
I have been to this location multiple times. The waiter was new and informed us this was his second time making fondue. He was such a nice guy and we felt really bad for him. We felt like his management failed him not having someone shadow him to assist in training him. He brought out the wrong cheese to start off with. Our table burner was not warming the cheese and the waiter asked another staff for help and he didn’t have time to help him. I suggested another table. Once we got to the new table, he made the cheese and we noticed it wasn’t the ordered cheese. He went back to get the correct cheese. He put in the beer base then started to put the cheese in before it was hot and before he put garlic in it. I helped him step by step make the cheese since I was familiar with how to do it. My husband and I felt bad for the gentleman. When it was time for chocolate, he brought out the pot and told us to enjoy! We had nothing to dip in the chocolate. The manager knew about the table swap and the incorrect cheese and we still ended up paying full price. I hope that the training process gets stronger and the servers know how to fondue on their own before getting their tables.
The reason I said no is because I have been waiting to take my son there for his birthday since I found out that they finally have a vegan menu.
Our waiter was amazing but they were very unprepared for a guest to order from the vegan menu and our server even said that this was his first time serving one. Our meal was great until we got to the dessert portion. It literally took them 45 minutes after our main course to bring out our dessert and before they brought it out I went to the manager (who later I found out was one of the owners!) and asked him what the hold up was and that we needed to leave because my son had plans after dinner. He said that it hadn't been as long as I thought (at that time it had been 30+ minutes) because he had come over to our table 20 minutes ago and spoke with us because the free chocolate covered strawberries they couldn't make vegan. Then he walked over to our table still arguing with me and looked at my son and said "Do you know how many vegans we actually get in here". I was gobsmacked that he would even said that to us. I said "well you shouldn't offer the vegan menu if you are unprepared to serve it".
We finally got our dessert after a 2 hour dining experience turned into a 3 hour one. The owner never apologized about the wait time and the lack of experience serving a new menu item. Our server on the other hand did.
I will definitely make sure that all of my vegan friends in the area know how we were treated by the OWNER of this Melting Pot location.
We were here on thursday, our food was great! But I server was rude. We felt rushed when explaining things he talked so fast we couldn’t understand. There were two flies flying around our food. And while we were having our dessert the waiter rudely interrupted and asked if we were done which we just received our dessert maybe 4 mins before. I understand we were the last table. But our reservation was at 830 and it takes 2 hours for the 4 course meal...
We had a terrible experience. We are frequent diners at the Melting Pot and our recent experience would make me never want to return again. The server was new, but that didn’t excuse the absolute terrible service that we received. We waited 15 minutes after being seated before anyone acknowledged our presence. Another 30 minutes before we got our drinks, and my husband’s was messed up. A lack of experience, mixed with awful service made for a truly terrible experience. If we do ever return to the Melting Pot, it certainly won’t be the one on Delmar. Two other tables next to us complained, yet the manager didn’t even ask how our night was. It took a total of 4 hours from start to finish, which was a great deal too long, in my opinion. I am truly unhappy and will be complaining further to the Melting Pot directly.
Always a good time and great food cant beat the atmosphere
We were there for 3+ hours. I understand that this restaurant is about “experience” but that is incredible too long for a Sunday. I was at this exact same restaurant 2 days before on a busy Friday night with a party of 3 and we were in and out in 2 hours. We did not receive our cheese until being there almost an hour. Our server moved with no urgency. We had to ask for refills on our drinks every time our glass was empty. After our server dropped off our chocolate, the checks were brought immediately after, as if we were being rushed out. This was by far the worst experience I have had at this location. They were getting their act together for quite some time, but now they have put another bad taste in my out in terms of customer service.
Not sure if they were having an off night but I had a reservation for 7:45 and didn’t get seated until 8:30. Our waiter was good but slow and I’m not sure if that was necessarily his fault or the kitchen’s. It was my first experience so I also don’t know how long is supposed to be between courses.
We made reservations for 7:15, but we were not seated until 8:15. Reservations for 7:30, 7:45, & 8:00 were seated before we where because they checked in earlier. Reservations are a joke here. Other than that, everything was great.
We love the melting pot, and have never had a bad experience! The service was a little slower than usual this time, but still a wonderful time!!
Restaurant was over booked, so our waiter was busy. Despite that, he was great!
The service is horrible. We have been twice. The first time we went we walked out after 45 min of being seated and the server never coming back with our drinks. The manager did not care or try to help out the server. We tried again for a second time and our burner went out in the middle of the meal. Again, minimal help from management. We were given a rain check for the remainder of our meal and was charged full price. Now we will have to go back a third time just to redeem a dessert that we already paid for.
I think our not so great experience was all due to the waiter.
Service was horrible, we was seated in a dark area/table, and the waiter proceeded to take our order without trying to move us, we had to ask him to turn the light on, but the light was broken. The waiter was not attentive to our needs nor the table. Several times we had to ask others to find our waiter because he wasn’t serving us adequately. The food was good, but over priced for the portion and not to mention you really doing all the work.
Food was great, however the service was ok. Getting our food was slow and dinner was almost 3 hours long.
We had a wonderful time - great food, excellent service.
The food was delicious. For some reason our service was so slow. I'm not saying it was our server. I know the servers arent responsible for cooking and preparing the food, but the service overall was slow. The table behind us came in after us and left before we did and they also had the 4 course meal. It was good though I'll be back
The food was excellent as usual. We love coming to the Melting Pot for all of the courses (the Cheese and Chocolate are outstanding). The service was a bit slow on this day.
We haven’t been that lucky with servers the last couple times of going.. but I must say our waitress Hannah today was amazing!
We didn’t want to stuff ourselves so we had cheese fondue (x2) with a charcuterie platter and a salad. It was perfect with a good bottle Pinot noir from Oregon.
The food was delicious, and our server was very kind... but not at all attentive. Our drinks were never filled and the meals were brought out very slow- taking over 2 hours to get everything. We enjoyed sitting and talking on our date, but not having our water cups filled or even seeing our server for some time was frustrating. Again, she was very kind and did state it was her second day, but this seemed to be more than just second day difficulty. She didn’t clear our plates, she didn’t bring most of the items out. Looking back, she herself actually did very little. The pot for cheese wasn’t turned on, and she awkwardly stood at our table for awhile to get it to warm up. The desert tray had clearly been sitting awhile before it was brought to us as well. We did get a champagne toast, long after we had already received the check and paid and were just ready to leave by that time.
1st time ever there was amazing food was fabulous service was outstanding would definitely go back over and over and over again
As usual, our food and service was excellent! We've visited many Melting Pot locations, and enjoyed this one as well.
Always have a good time... You know that the service is good, when you even get great service from someone who has only been there 3 days. Every time I have gone, I have had a great experience. The staff is friendly which makes your experience that much more helpful!
It took a while to get to the eating part, but the food was outstanding! Its expensive, but I think we'd go again!
Service was really bad, it took us over an hour at our table to get the first course and then the server delivered and made the wrong cheese fondue. 20 minutes later, almost an hour and half in we finally had what we ordered. The owner came by and suggested that my wife didn’t need any more bread and vegetables when we still had half a pot of cheese left. Needless to say my wife didn’t take that well. The server talked to us about maggots in his home while we where trying to eat the second course. 2 hour s and 30 minutes later we asked for our desert to go. Manager kept stopping at the table next to us, but not at our table to see how things were going. Very disappointed in the service, but the food was still good.
I have always loved the Melting Pot but the service has not been very good in a while. The servers are very nice but it took way to long to get food and we did not get drinks refilled until the very end. Again, not awful but definitely not what I expect when paying over $100 for two people. I hope this is not going to become the norm but it’s been the last 3 times we’ve been there.
In used to love The Melting Pot but the service was horrible. I think they were short staffed because it took forever to get anything. Our waters sat empty for 1.5 hours (literally) before our server came back to refill then. It took 25 minutes for me to get my cocktail. When our desert was served our burner had been turned off so it was cold. After 10 minutes of not being able to flag a server I turned on the burner myself. The table next to us has been sitting there for 40 minutes before his server even took his order and that only happened because he flagged my server down to complain. For the prices they charge I expected better service.

We celebrated a promotion and closing on a house! It was lovely!!!
Their offerings have improved, meaning, the food is tastier. New menu is easier to navigate.
We always love coming to the Melting Pot and always have a great experience.
