First time in a long time going to this restaurant. Went as a gift to my daughter for her birthday.
Food was good and the pace & varity of good was very good. Service was delightful. Cost was a wee bit high but knew that going in, so was not shocked by the tab.
The food, service and ambiance were all excellent and what I have come to expect from the Melting Pot. I especially like the booths, which are like cozy alcoves that beg for cell phones to be forgotten and actual conversation to take place. The only complaint our group had was the room temperature, which was quite warm. We joined other diners outside to enjoy the temperate December evening to cool down.
They went out of their way to get us two tables close together. Great customer service
stick to cheese fondue. Other cooking styles are disappointing.
The food was delicious and worth the price. The noise level was a little loud.
It was great! Spent it with my best friend
Being acknowledge when we walked in would have been nice.
Young man was busy doing something on register and did not say hello until we said hello first.
Chocolate fondue want enough. We ran out of chocolate before finishing up items provided.
Overall it was great. It's a bit pricey, but we went for a birthday so it was a special occasion (excuse) to splurge. I don't see this being a regular place to go unless you really really like the food, but I think most of those people already have a fondue kit at home.
Service was excellent. Place is super nice. Recommend you make a reservation just in case.
Emily was our server and she was amazing it was a great time!!!
We had a wonderful experience for our anniversary! The waitress was excellent and had great recommendations and service throughout the dining experience.
Fantastic restaurants to catch up with family and friends because there is no rushing!
BUT, it is pricey and a tad bit too dark.... but you can always use your cell phone flashlight to read your menu
OH, Where to begin...We've never been to The Melting Pot so we didn't know what to expect. We went for my birthday. Let me just say IF you go, ASK FOR ZACH!!! He's a server. He's mostly deaf in both ears, but does read lips VERY WELL! He explained EVERYTHING to us..."dinner" at The Melting Pot, 4 courses, can and does take about 2.5 hours... YES 2 and a half hours... BUT IT'S SO WORTH IT! The food was amazing. My picky 10 year old even tried foods that he's NEVER eaten before just because Zach, said one of the cheese options Quattro something or other tasted like pizza. Zach's service was so wonderful that I went out of my way to ask the manager if I could talk to him and Corporate about what an outstanding job he was doing! He brought water to the table before he took our drink order. Then while getting our drinks asked us to make our decision on the cheese course. Once that was put together, he took our salad course option, then our main course , and when we were almost finished he let us know it was time to make a decision about the chocolate option. All the while making sure our drinks were filled, and that the kids were happy.
It is more than just eating there for special occasions. If you become a member of their email, you can find some really good deals. For us, it's always consistent quality of food and a good place to meet our friends for an enjoyable night out.
Loved the new grill option! The Orange Duck was DELICIOUS!
fabulous fun dining experience and ideal for a birthday party or some other celebration. cooking as recreation, it's the best, and the food is yummy. we had a lovely server, LaTifah, who artfully introduced and arranged everything for us. a fine experience overall *
Everything was excellent! Our server in training did a great job!
The food was great. All four courses were quality. Enjoyed beef, chicken, shrimp, and pork via 1 cooking style. Flavors were exceptional. That said, the booth was extremely cramped and created a less than favorable experience. I am a 6'1" 210lbs man. Leg room was nearly non-existent (4 people in my party). After looking at other booths in other areas of the restaurant, it appears some are smaller than others. I would recommend you look at the booth size before accepting the table. If it weren't for this issue, they would get a better rating.
Great service and perfect atmosphere for a date
Our server Michael was so sweet and took great care of us! It was Girls Night Out and he did a great job entertaining/talking and taking care of us!
Love this restaurant! All the servers are always so kind :)
Very slow service, waitress did not check on our table often at all, and when she did she took forever to return.
We visited Melting Pot for their Veteran's Day dinner specials. Our server, Lorenzo, was awesome. He was very entertaining and made our dining experience more enjoyable. We ordered their classic 4 course menu and we were given plenty of food. Loved the Brie and Bacon cheese fondue and the Truffle chocolate fondue. So delicious! Will definitely be back.
Still had to wait for 10-15 mins even with the reservation. Food was good. Service was also good. Friendly staff. But everything was taking too long to come
Easy online appointment scheduling.. outstanding customer service from both hostess and waiter.. have already recommended to friends and family... Will definitely be back.. all courses we're delicious.. mojo broth with seafood was awesome.. absolutely made for a fantastic night out for a 12th wedding anniversary!!
Best server we’ve ever had there.
Server dropped the heating unit on my knee. Otherwise a good experience
The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was the perfect girls night out.
Went in halloween night. It wasn't busy at all. The waitress seemed to not be very attentive. It took a long time in between the different plates. We had a reservation for 7:15, we walked out of there at 10pm which was quite crazy. I won't be coming back. I didn't find it to be a good value for the money.
Good evening, my wife and I received your email promotion today ($25 off your bill of $75 min) and decided to take advantage of this for a date night. We live about 30 to 45 minutes away and chose to eat at your restaurant as we have in the past. When we got here the manager who originally was on duty came over to the table was very nice and said he was told from our waiter about this promotion and you’ll make sure everything would be taken care of and was very friendly. When we finished dining, he had left and there was a taller manager on duty who wanted to look at the promotion and he read the email, told me to hold on a few moments left for a few minutes came back and said that he was not aware of this promotion but took two cheese something or another off the bill (Said it was close) … That is not how this works in my opinion, and this is not good business practice to send a promotion honoring some sort of valued coupon and not being able to do that… That’s just poor business practice. It’s not in the few dollars difference it’s the principle behind that.
Erin and Reid were awesome as usual. Our favorite, favorite place!
Birthday dinner was lovely and the service was great
I took my kids and they loved the whole experience! Waiter was fabulous and made good suggestions and was fun with my kids. Great experience!
Great food terrible waitress!
We have been at the Melting Pot Reston many times and loved it. Unfortunately, this time our waitress actitude was completely unacceptable. She was very rude when I asked to switch a pasta option on one of my kids dinner and she continued with her bad actitide for the rest of the night. I give credit to the manager who came to check on us but our waitress really arruined the night for me specially since we were there celebrating my daughter’s birthday. I will think twice before visiting again after our most recent experience.
Pricing is much higher than I remember. Fun experience though and good food. Would reccomended it but it isn’t cheap.
Service was great and we enjoyed our meal as always. Very happy with how the military is treated with the Monday discount. Keep up the GREAT WORK!
Generally good but the new option to grill your meat sucks. Doesn’t work at low heat levels needed for simmering a fondue and the meat needs to be cut much thinner to avoid the 10 minute+ cooking time.
Amazing, as always. It's expensive and calorific, definitely special occasion only, but wonderful.
I love the Melting Pot and go regularly for dates and girls nights. Yum!
Victoria was the best waitress we’ve ever had at a Melting Pot and were very impressed with our night. Can’t wait to come again
Erin was great as usual and had trainee “Q” learning from our fav!
