The Melting Pot - Raleigh
We have been to the Melting Pot to celebrate our daughters birthday for the last 6 years and we are never disappointed. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!
We love to go to the melting pot, for special occasions and just because! Service is always consistent and so is the food.
Overall, everything was excellent! The Melting Pot is great for a slower paced evening when you want time to not only enjoy the food, the process but also have the opportunity to talk with the person (s) you are dining with.
The waitress was a beast.
Was not overly thrilled with my experience. The cheese took an overly long time to melt and taste too much like wine. The chocolate seemed to be a very small portion for 3 people. Dippers were good, and plentiful. Charcuterie board a bit smaller than expected.
Wonderful experience with the staff. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone in the Raleigh area.
We always enjoy our meals at the Melting Pot. Each course is exceptional, we love the cheese fondue, the variety of salad choices and the different meats to choose from. We skipped dessert this time and i'm glad we did because we were so full after 3 courses! Love this place!
The restaurant seemed a little out dated but the service there was amazing. The staff was so friendly and the food was good. I feel like they should expand on the veggie selection. I would definitely go back!
Server REALLY pushed 4-course meal, even told us it was cheaper when it actually wasn’t
Service was amazing!!! Staff very friendly, helpful and patience with our selection (it was our first time :) We were celebrating my daughter's accomplishments (passing of IB Diploma and acceptance into High School Chorus)- they had wonderful details for them. In my reservation, I had requested a celebrating note, but they went beyond expectations. We were very pleased with details, service and food experience.
The food is great and very filling. I would recommend anyone to try this restaurant. The melting pot restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat in Raleigh.
Enjoyable dinner with the fun factor of "cooking your own." Always enjoy fondue. Wait staff were very efficient. Appreciated the special that was available that made the meal very affordable.
This is my first time ever having a meal at this chain restaurant and I really surprised with their menu and the different style of menu and options.
Waitress was not around when needed her.
.....boiled steak??? Not really why I would call a good meal for an anniversary dinner.
Cheese and chocolate were on point but the “main course” was not expecting to boil my meat to eat it...
Very disappointed. Drinks were amazing
Our waitress was not friendly at all.. made our 22 year anniversary date pretty stressful .
Great time. Kids loved it. We go often and it’s always great. Good for date night as well. Takes a while so you can talk and have drinks while you cook.
The restaurant feels a bit dated and some of the seating covers have rips in them. There was also some food on the floor from a previous guest. Our server made us feel a bit rushed which I would maybe put down to the style of restaurant (cook your own food) but we had been there once before and didn't feel that way. The food was good and was probably the right portion size. We were there for our anniversary, which I had mentioned on our reservation, but this was not even acknowledged.
This is one of our go-to places for data night. And with the $39 July special, it was a no brainer. As expected, our dinner was as great as always!
Our table was ready right at our reservation time. The service was good and the food was amazing. We took advantage of the 2 for $39 promotion and it was an awesome deal. The manager brought us a card for our anniversary, which was really sweet. We also got free chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary. The food was great quality and the choices were also great. We will definitely be back!
Wonderful as always...looking forward to my next visit
Truly an exceptional and romantic dining experience
Amazing experience! Great for any special occasion
-Average cost for two people to dine $100-110 (40-50 a person + tax) Don't forget to tip!
-Recommend 4 course meal to get the most for your money. Includes cheese fondue, salads, entrees, and dessert.
-Look to book around 6 p.m. or earlier, will take 2-3 hours, closer to 4 if slow eaters like we are.
-Great service, our waitress was Amanda and she was fantastic, made the night easy and enjoyable.
It was ok, not as good as usual. Our server and the food were both just “ok”.
We did the special $39 couple deal, which everything was delicious, however we would have spent more and gotten desert and after dinner cocktails but it was so unbelievably cold in there we both had goosebumps and couldn’t wait to leave. I know restaurants crank up the AC so that they have quicker table turn over and can make more money but I feel they missed out on making more money in this situation.
Dinner was great. It is a pain to cook when one person is a vegetarian and the other isn't. We are getting better with timing and figuring out how to get the non meat items cooked as fast as we can so we can then cook the meat items. It would be nice too if there weren't so many marshmallow items used for dipping in the chocolate, makes it so the vegetarian has less options.
It was our first time going. We loved it, such a wonderful experience.
Oh my goodness our waitress Amanda was amazing. She was there with refills without us having to say anything, she went over the menu with us to find something we’d both enjoy. She made sure that our date night was one to remember ❤️ We will definitely be back soon!
I love going to the Melting Pot. We were celebrating my aunt and uncle's purchase of their new home. The Melting Pot is the right place to go. We had tickets to an event and the waitress was extremely conscious of keeping us on track to enjoy our experience and not be late. Excellent job!
Awesome time for my and my husband's birthdays. They even gave us a special dessert in honor of them! The food was so delicious, and the service was great. Our waiter was so on top of things, and I think it was the manager, Mike, who brought us our extra bday dessert. They made the night extra special!
Everyone is sat a good distance away from each other so you do not have to worry about someone over hearing your conversations or looking at you while you’re eating. The staff was very energetic, everyone stayed busy; but was able to help when needed. $50 will feed 2 average eaters or one person who eats a lot. The quality and seasoning of the meats is excellent. Overall, I would definitely come back.
Great atmosphere for celebrating our 11 year wedding anniversary. Food was great as was the service.
The meal was delicious, as usual. The menu was changed since our last visit, which did make us try something new. Our server Mary was one of the best servers we have had at any restaurant. The staff gave a birthday card and a special treat to the birthday boy; it is a nice, classy touch. We look forward to our next visit.
We love the melting pot! But it seems this location, Raleigh, is just behind in terms of atmosphere and menu items. We opted out of the chocolate course because they didnt have any feature and only had the basic menu, which we've had all too often. The Durham location still remains our favorite.
The food was all very good. The service was pretty fast and friendly.
Great time. We’d recommend Alexis if she’s there, she’s our favorite waitress in Raleigh!
I brought my husband to The Melting Pot - Raleigh for his 25th birthday. They brought him a card and told him happy birthday and he loved it! For his first time going, and his first experience with fondue, he’s said we need to plan all of our birthday/anniversary dates here from now o! Our server, Kieran, was phenomenal. He was such a joy and gave us a good laugh as well! If you’re looking for a ramtnic night out with that special someone, or somewhere to celebrate, this is your place! The drinks (especially the sunset blush sangria) were divine! Nothing but good things to say about our visit!
We have been Melting Pot fans for a long time. We have been going to the Raleigh location since we moved to the area 12 years ago. Always a pleasant experience. Most recent visit was 6/30/18. Had a phenomenal server named, Mike. As usual, management stops by to say hello and make sure everything was okay. Happy to hear a former manager is now owner of this location.
First fondue experience and we had a great time. Waitress was very helpful in selections.
My experience was wonderful. I received the best service from the whole staff. My server Mary was excellent. The manager even brought me a Birthday card. The food was delicious and I enjoyed my free chocolate dipped strawberries.
Great anniversary dinner. Kieran, the server who assisted us was phenomenal. We tried the Big Night Out dinner and will do that again for sure!
