The Melting Pot - Orlando Ratings and Reviews
The service was outstanding, everything is done tableside, it's nice to see what is going into my meal. However, one of my options was filet mignon, which definitely was not filet, perhaps a sirloin? In addition, some of my chicken was gristly, for the price I was paying, I think the proteins need to be top notch. We did the 4 course tasting menu, cheese fondue was outstanding, salads were okay, proteins were as mentioned above and the chocolate was outstanding, although at that point, we were all stuffed! Definitely not an everyday experience, but worth a once in a while treat.
Everything was wonderful. My only complaint was we were originally seated at a table with one pot. There were three of us and we were already planning on sharing different cheeses and other items. If we had not been there before we would not have known that there were tables with more than one pot.
If you've never been to a fondue place, it's definitely worth checking out.
it is a bit pricey. If you are going there for the first time, and they ask you what cheese, that's for the appetizer. And they charge you per person for it. I didn't know that. It was our first time there and we were a little surprised to find out about that when we got the check.
The entrees are priced at around $24 per person minimum, but the drinks are very reasonably priced.
Not only do we love The Melting Pot, we love this location the most. Why? The staff make every experience the best. The management stops by often to be certain our needs are being meet. And our favorite waitress Sam always aims to please, right down to bringing just as much Green Godess as we can possibly eat! She makes suggestions and fills our every wish! All with a great sense of humor as we have lots of fun with her charming personality! You won't go wrong visiting here...they will make every occasion (or not) extra special!
Visited this restaurant on Christmas Eve. I have been to several Melting Pots in other cities. This establishment is by far the best I have been to. Great atmopshere, very friendly and the service was excelllent. I have enjoyed the other Melting Pots I have been to, but this one exceeded my expectations. Cannot wait to go back!
The food and the service was amazing. Our waiter Michael was very professional yet not serious. He knew the menu front and back, kept us entertained, and was very quick with refills and our food. The manager came by to introduce himself and ask about our experience. I would love to give this place 5 stars across the board. The only reason I give 4 stars is for the hostess in the front of the establishment. She was very rude to my wife, almost looked down on her, walked us to our table and as she was walking away (with her back turned to us) said “thanks for coming”. That was almost enough for us to cancel our reservation and go somewhere else. Luckily the rest of the awesome staff made up for her ill behavior and poor attitude towards my wife and friends. She is the 1st person we meet when coming into the establishment so to be so off putting can really turn customers away real quick.
Took the family for dinner, and to do something different. My son is a picky eater but there is something for everyone, so he had no problem finding food to meet his needs. we had the 4 course meal which was too much food for us, probably should have only have 3 courses (have to save room for dessert at the end) Simply put , would return, and waiter Reuben was very helpful.
This is a fabulous place- we are regulars and our experience is always excellent. The restaurant is very well managed and service consistently exceeds expectations- especially this evening with Melissa! We will ask for her next time and can’t wait to come back!
